The improvement I mentioned finally came by Liverpool. They got a 2-0 win against Everton in Anfield and I can say it was a comfortable win.

Everton had only one shot on target in the whole game. After beating Arsenal I wondered if they would be able to do something in this one as well. When we consider Liverpool's condition it wouldn't be surprising. But instead we saw a much better Liverpool. They had a really effective attacking game and deserved the win here. Hopefully this can help them improve their morale for the upcoming games.

Arsenal is guaranteed to be in the first four spots more than City in my opinion. I think it is more related to the possibility of a punishment.

Finally salah managed to score after being not able to in the last five game in the premier league and what better way to make a comeback than to score in the derby, liverpool are now leading in the first half thanks to salah goal, everton team will now have no choice but to get on the offensive so am expecting more goals in the second half since either team can score after seeing their first half performance.

they for sure took off Man City from that list because of their unsolved situation, it is a no brainer to bet a little on them not to finish in top 4 in case the accusations are confirmed, and i don't think sportbooks want to go through a some complicated things with bets and how to grade them, they could decide to refund the money and people who won would get pissed.

quite an easy win for man city. Man City has been leading the match since minute 4 'from the goal created by Rodri, and Assist Mahrez, even though Haaland didn't score, he managed to provide 1 assist. currently, man city and arsenal are only 3 points apart.

Dyche used a defensive strategy to face Liverpool but it was useless because he was unable and wrongly managed to score a goal against Everton. Nunez is very good as a support for Salah, he made 1 assist for Salah to prove that he is not a lone attacker. good cooperation from salah - gakpo - nunez.

It is not easy for Liverpool and their defense system again shows lot of weakness. At the fifth minute, if Everton can take advantage of Liverpool defender mistake better, they could score a leading goal.

Shortly before a first goal for Liverpool, Everton has a head finish that hits the goal post of Liverpool. After that, with a good counter attacking, a good combination between Salah and Nunez from beginning to ending, Liverpool got a first goal. That goal makes the match more easily for Liverpool in the second half.

With these three points, Liverpool see a better chance to join top six of Premier League that is currently hold by Brighton. However, from Brighton to Totenham is a big gap but Liverpool have 2 more matches to play and if they win both, they will have only 1 point less than Tottenham.

That was the Liverpool I know. Passion, tempo, attacking, pressing... Honestly i think that was one of their best performance this season. That felt like a big big win, Everton is never an easy game. I was very nervous before this game I must admit. I'm so so happy for Gakpo, he was stunning tonight, his pressing was very impressive and the goal seemed to give him relief and energy, but again Bajcetic in the midfield was excellent. I really hope they can push on now. If they can beat Newcastle over the weekend, then they’ll  close the gap to just 6 points with a game in hand.
