If Manchester City want to continue to follow Arsenal in the league, they must win this game today. Because if Arsenal beat Leeds today and this match ends in a draw, we will start to produce more serious rhetoric about Arsenal's championship. I think Manchester City's opportunities have not run out, at least we have to see the results of the game against Liverpool later. If you manage to get three points then the opportunity is still open until the actual decisive match comes against Arsenal. However, Man.City's concentration was a bit disturbed by the busy match schedule. Liverpool has just scored a beautiful goal and it’s just the 17 minute into the game. A beautiful strike scored by Salah after in what I saw as a defensive blunder by the City defenders.
I honestly didn’t see the early goal scored by Liverpool coming and I think this should be a wake up call for City players. I think they’re a bit shaken by the early goal and they do need to sit up and not allow the game to go into the half time with Liverpool leading. I believe Manchester city would equalize and come back into this game.

I support Man City in today's match of Man City vs Liverpool in Premier League. I think Man City players will play well today and win the match. I was very disappointed with the performance of Man City's goal keeper S. Ortega in the previous match.  .Liverpool team is a very strong team. I can't imagine how the team will play today. However, Liverpool team has very good quality players. It will be a tough battle between the two teams and the team that performs well will win today.

From the performance of Manchester City this season they are good to go to win the game, Manchester City performance still remains solid than that of Liverpool. But if Manchester City fails to maintain their good performance today against Liverpool and maybe the game ends in draw, then it will be a good result for arsenal because if Manchester City win the game they are coming closer to arsenal which will be possible for Manchester City to meet arsenal at the top if only they remain to be consistent.

I believe a lot of people will stake on Manchester City to beat Liverpool because Liverpool hasn't been performing as well as many people expected the team to do this season in  competitions. However, despite their poor season, they were able to defeat Manchester City at Anfield in the first leg meeting.

I won't be all that shocked if Liverpool defeats or ties Manchester City at Etihad Stadium because I always thought Liverpool appeared to be more powerful when they come to play against major clubs, particularly in the Premier League.Until the game begins, if not it will be difficult for me to predict who will win, so neither team wouldn't have it simple to win the match. However, if I may say so, I expect Manchester City to take advantage of their home advantage and appear to be more powerful,as Liverpool always did in it home game.

We still cannot be sure about the result of this game but even in the best situation, Liverpool is not a stable team to bet on them winning this game even if this game was against a weak team in the table. For Liverpool, this game is important because they have to get the full points and stay at the top of the table but on the other hand, Manchester City is racing with Arsenal, and if they lose any point in this match there will be fewer hope for them to win the trophy.

I had great faith in Manchester City and they didn’t let me down. Beautiful goal and amazing finish by Alvarez to equalize and bring City back into the game. City players are playing so well. With Grealish earlier denying Salah an opportunity to score and now having scored and equalized, I still believe Manchester City would go on to win the game. City are having more of the ball and having more chances at goal. With their consistent and accurate passes, it’s no wonder on how City are penetrating through the Liverpool defense.

This game is unpredictable and I think that there will be more goals in this first half.

With 1 goal scored by each team at a time that I didn't expect, it looks like this match will be difficult to predict, on one hand with full possession of the ball that Manchester City has they can score a goal anytime, and on the other hand Liverpool with a counter the attack was very unexpected. Manchester city are yet to equalise the goal but they have been dominating the game in possession since the Liverpool team scored the goal, for the goal scorer Mo Salah he needs to be careful because he received a year card for kicking the ball away after the referee has blown the whistle and the Liverpool team will be on the losing side should Salah ends up been sent off in this game.

Regardless of the odds been equal right now, I believe Manchester city will bounce back in this game if they continue mounting pressure on Liverpool else they will end up making the League very easy for the gunners to win because the gap will be 8 point's difference but I strongly believe that Manchester city will get the three point in this game.

Manchester City has responded according by scoring a goal in the 27th minute. The goal was scored by Julian Alvarez and it is clear that City deserves the goal. They have dominated the match and I was shocked when Liverpool took the lead. Manchester City have to prove that they can win games comfortably without Haaland. I think Liverpool will have to rejig their game for them to get at least a draw in Etihad. But if the game continues this way, I would not doubt that City will get more goals and win this game convincingly. Every match is important for both teams now. Liverpool needs a win to keep hope alive for a top-four finish, while City must win this match to keep on putting Arsenal under pressure.

I had a strong hunch that this game would not go in my favor Manchester at first, I still have a strong feeling that the game may end in a draw or Liverpool may win because Liverpool is under pressure and the atmosphere is tense for both clubs. Liverpool already has a one-goal advantage thanks to a fantastic finish from Mohammed Salah, and they are now attempting to give Salah a very close marking and a very good defense also from Liverpool. Now that Manchester City have bridged Liverpool defense by equalizing.

It looks like Pep Guardiola will not only focus on the Champions League because in the Premier League they still have hope of taking first place from Arsenal. After all, this is not a situation that requires them to only focus on one competition, except that it is mathematically impossible for Manchester City to catch Arsenal.

Manchester City are still competing for 3 major trophies, the FA cup, the Epl trophy and the Champions league, they have many options and an advantage to achieve at least one of the three this season. The league trophy is still open to Manchester City to compete for and try to win it if Arsenal lose concentration along the way and drop vital points and Manchester City take advantage to get the lead.

The absence of Haaland and Foden could be palpable for City today, so Guardiola needs to be more vigilant in defense as one more goal conceded could ruin City's chances of winning this match.

City will spend more time near Liverpool's goal as only a win can suit them in this match, with Liverpool relying on Salah's speed on the counterattack. So far, the game is more or less equal, City's advantage is not great, Guardeola needs to change something.

They want Liverpool's defense to make mistakes so they can make a second goal after Mohamed Salah brings Liverpool to victory. Manchester City's attempt to equalize the score was successful through Alvarez.

Jota, Gakpo and Mohamed Salah will continue to take turns making attempts and other Liverpool players will also make Manchester City players continue to attack so as to make them neglect in defense. Perhaps such a strategy will be tried in the second half.
Manchester City are very depressed with the score as it is now because they really want to win in order to maintain the chances of winning at the end of the season.

Liverpool do not have a good record playing Manchester City at the Etihad, Manchester City plays better in the second half and with how Grealish and Mahrez are playing, they look like they have goals in this game. I watched Liverpool kept passing the ball back to their goalkeeper, that looks like something that will cost them this game if they are not careful because their goalkeeper can be a big flop sometimes. Gakpo has not been good, I feel Nunez should be given an opportunity.

As i predicted the match gonna be a tough match for both clubs. It's very disappointing to see that haaland didn't even play in the game. Salah is always become a threat for manchester city. His goal was to make city feel panic before julian alvarez was making the situation to be the same after he was making a goal for city. Liverpool is always playing so badly against the weak team but i don't even know why liverpool can play stronger against the big team.

It sounds non sense but that's reality. It seems like that to me if 2-1 will become the result of this match.

The second half is starting. I'll continue to watch it.
