At a point in this season, I have given up on Liverpool and Chelsea because both clubs have become unrecoverable since they have consistently been on the loss even though the clubs have spent quite a lot of money in buying new players in the last transfer window.

If you are expecting either of them to win the league then chances are pretty rough but Liverpool actually still have a decent chance on getting top 4. Both are pretty inconsistent but Chelsea is in a much worse condition considering that they have spent alot but pretty much no improvement at all while Liverpool seems to be getting there while this season could be worse for them

Liverpool still have 12 games left this season, and with the condition that Tottenham has 2 more matches and the difference in points is only 7, the chance for Liverpool is clear.
The problem for Liverpool at the moment is that they are not always unpredictable. sometimes they are very convincing and can get 3 points even with the opponent's condition which is actually quite good but sometimes on the contrary, they are also very difficult to win and an example maybe this week when they are very favorite but they have to lose.
At the moment, if they can really make good use of it, then there is still a chance for the top 4, but if they always do unexpected things like this week, then the chances are not as easy as one might imagine.

I would be surprised if next season Manchester City isn’t amongst the team dragging for the English Premier League title. For year now they have always been in the picture challenging for the title.

I don't have any expectation from Liverpool against Manchester City. I think it would be better if we evaluate this match from a sensible point of view. Liverpool are a hopeless case this season. They don't have anything left other than the Premier League. Even in this league they are having a really bad season. It is even doubtful if they can make it to top four at the end of the season. They are still dealing with the same issues. They have great defenders but they are still vulnerable against any kind of opponent.

Manchester City are fighting for the league title on the other hand. Winning every single one of the matches left is very crucial for them. They need to keep up with Arsenal until facing them in Etihad again. Hence I think Manchester City won't make a mistake and they will get the win they want.

First time seeing the odds for Man City vs Liverpool and I'm quite surprised that Liverpool is the heavy underdog @5.2 on moneyline. I mean it's understandable that City will still come out as favorite but I did not expect it to be by that much. There seem to be no major injury on the Reds' side but I guess Haaland's recent five-goal fest at the Champion's League had a significant impact on the odds.

Liverpool has been the underdog in previous seasons, but not this one. This season, they didn't play well enough to merit praise. They are playing against a team that is in its prime of winning any club that comes its way in the hunt to take the Premier League title, which is why they are being offered 5.2 odds despite losing form this season.
When Manchester City is playing at home, the odd is not as interesting to gamble on.

I agree with you, although Liverpool are currently not in a good position but these both teams can be said to be balanced yeah. Also Liverpool will not allow Manchester City to get three points easily, and even I believe Liverpool can steal at least one point from Manchester City, it is possibility that result of this match will be a draw but if betting maybe both team to score would be a good option for me.

Exactly, only big luck can make it. However, instead of luck, man City has superior in any case. Man City is much better in any line, moreover in their attacking lines. While Liverpool, we know how they are this season. Although nothing is impossible, at least, we can consider it based on the data. I still think that Man City will win. What Liverpool should do is to prevent several goals. One thing I believed Liverpool for, is that they are always strong and good when its comes to playing of the top teams in the premier league, Liverpool are in a really bad form this season but I know for sure when its comes to playing with teams like Manchester united, arsenal, Manchester city and the rest top teams they always play as if they are the most inform team in the premier league.I wouldn't be surprise Liverpool can come out and defeat Manchester city.

Manchester United and Manchester City are two different teams and obviously, if you use the same tactic for both teams you will not get the same result Klopp knows that Manchester United had bad days at the start of this season while they improved with Ten Hag, but Manchester City is a different team and that got a different system for playing against Liverpool also they are racing with Arsenal and if for any reasonManchster City loses some points at this stage, Arsenal can get more space.

Liverpool also is a giant club in England, they take it really serious when it involves another England big clubs. Moreover, Manchester h2h with Liverpool is really not in favour of Manchester city. From the statistic, Man City must have higher chances to win, from their attacking lines, midfielder, or even defense. Liverpool must be careful with the lineup. It's difficult for them though as I think they still lack some more experienced players to stay up there. You are right that they are not losing a lot of games, but that's still not necessarily enough to qualify for the Champions League.

Manchester City isn't Manchester United to take 7 goals from Liverpool. City is more powerful and tactically better than Liverpool, their odds is way better than red devils.
Liverpool defence isn't that top and playing a defensive game means they will definitely lose. Liverpool has to attack and score at least 2 goals to be able to stop City.
