From my personal observation. Man United's problem is that the reserve players are not at the same level as the core players, aka inadequate squad depth, especially in the defensive midfield and centre-back sectors, and do not have the expected attackers. The barren Weghorst and the frequently injured Martial.

From Chelsea itself I really don't like the new owners from Chelsea. And that deserves to be called Todd Boehly's fault because it sounds like he wanted instant results. And that can be seen from the dismissal of Thomas Tuchel, who in my opinion was reckless and chose Potter as a replacement and wasted money buying dozens of players who were not necessarily in accordance with what the coach needed to be able to apply his tactics.

Newcastle deserves to win this match. They played with such determination, which making them the superior team on the pitch. But, what impressed me a lot about their solid defense, that prevented the opposition from scoring any goals throughout the match. Man United's performance was quite underwhelming and did not live up to expectations. They were outplayed by Newcastle, and frankly, they deserved to lose by an even larger margin. Newcastle has now moved above Man United in the standings and claimed the third spot in the league.

I wholeheartedly concur that Newcastle put on an excellent performance and deserved to win. On the pitch their commitment and intensity were obvious and their outstanding defence was impressive. Newcastle did an excellent job of stopping a side like Man United from scoring which is not easy feat to accomplish. Despite Man United dismal performance it is crucial to recognise and praise Newcastle for their outstanding performance. Third place in the standings is a wonderful accomplishment for Newcastle and it is exciting to see them succeed in the league. Their confidence will definitely increase as a result to this victory which will also position them for future success.

I am sure Chelsea's management would regret sacking Thomas Tuchel because he would have done far better than Graham Potter. Potter at the onset looked like a very good replacement because he was doing great in his former club. But it seems he suddenly lost his potential immediately after he was appointed as Chelsea's coach. I don't know how Bruno Saltor will be able to resuscitate the team and bring it back to its winning ways. But as you rightly pointed out it is unlikely that Chelsea will make it to the top four. It will take an extraordinary effort from the team to achieve that feat. I think they should focus on winning the Champions League which might be the only way to secure a spot for continental football next season.

There's no doubt about this that they've so far regretted their decision, if they had not regretted their then decision, which I totally condemnd and was not in any way in agreement with such decision and which most of Chelsea supportters was also against this decision taken by Chelsea owner Todd Boely, they wouldn't have sacked Potter at this time.
However this would now serve as a big lesson to the Chelsea owner to learn from his mistake and know how to sort things out with people and not take such decision that would backfire in the future.

It's been like that for a few seasons now. They were probably close to building a highly competitive squad but just could not keep it for some reason.

Anyone calling for Erik ten Hag's resignation or sacking yet? Hehe. He really did well winning a trophy in less than a year at the helm but I won't be surprised if some people would start mounting pressure on him after the recent matches. A lot of fans are impatient while expecting immediate results and continued success. I hope the owners could give him at least two more full seasons.

I think Chelsea have done right thing by sacking Potter. It was obvious that his strategies weren't going to work out with the team in the long term. Potter thought like he wasn't the problem but I don't agree with him. After all that time passed I would have expected this team to make some improvement at a point. Manchester United also changed their manager and Erik ten Hag started to make a big impact after a while. Potter should have found out a way to do so as well.

From now on it looks like Nagelsmann is their main target to sign. He had a good time period with Bayern Munich and I think Chelsea should give him a chance.

MU's defeat to Newcastle should be a serious concern from Ten Hag. The loss of Casemiro certainly felt a lot, the Red Devils played like they were aimless and even in the midfield there was a lack of creativity so that the Newcastle players were very free to build attacks and play the ball into the MU defense area. I also saw that Ten Hag was also a little wrong in rotating players in the last minute. He shouldn't have replaced Martinez-Varane at the same time and he brought Fred too late. So instead of chasing the goal deficit, they were even punished for conceding another goal ahead of the last minute. This should be an important evaluation for ETH.

Manchester United still have a whole lots of work to do in their team. I wont say am disappointed in them because this is football. Their game against Newcastle united was not impressive. They were so reluctant in the game, having just only one shot on target, their defence was not well calculated. Giving Newcastle every chance to score. Newcastle deserves the winning, they really appeared prepared in the match as they never lost faith in the game.

Brighton will face relegation candidates bournemouth.The team in 6th place with a game in hand will want to win their game and level on points with totthenham.The home team bournemouth will want to take points from the game or they could be in deep trouble in the relegation zone.It's an important game for both sides. If Brighton win their remaining matches, they will be able to make their points 49 and thus perhaps they will have the opportunity to go to the champions league.They will not want to lose the match because they have such a chance.Because they have totthenham and chelsea matches ahead of them, they have to win against bournemouth for sure because they will have a hard time in these matches.

This will be a pretty tough test for Brighton to steal points at home to Bournemouth. Oftentimes Bournemouth becomes a dark horse team against teams who are in a better position, for example when they held off Arsenal until the 90th minute, fortunately Nelson scored the winning goal in that match. Even so, Bournemouth also had a bad record in the last 5 matches and only won 1 extraordinary victory against Liverpool. On the other hand, the first meeting between the two teams was previously won by Brighton with a narrow score of 1-0. So I think Brighton will win this match with a narrow score again, maybe a 1-2 result is enough to bring 3 points later.

Potter could have thought so, but what the fans and players showed after showing dissatisfaction with Potter, Chelsea was quite satisfied with the decision to sack him. this season is quite difficult for Chelsea. with the remaining matches in the Premier League and Champions League, I think the task of a replacement coach is tough.
the remaining few matches are meetings with strong teams. in the champions league, Chelsea faced the strong team Madrid. No Manager would entertain such horrible display Manchester United had yesterday against Newcastle United. It's high time he stops selecting Antony for the first team. That lad is such a big gambler, all he those is joke with the ball around a specific corner, this isn't Ajax were unnecessary dribbles are done.

Though I'd say we have only player so bad when we have some of our good players absent, Newcastle really deserves the three points, it's sad news we couldn't beat them in the Premier League this season.

There is a huge difference between Newcastle, who stayed in the league for a long time last year, and Newcastle this year. This year, there is a very good team that is consistent and conceded few goals. Their defeat of Manchester United deserves great congratulations. Manchester United is not an easy team. Newcastle got a really important win for themselves for their Champions League target. But this won't be enough to make it happen of course.

The fight for this goal is going on really competitive among multiple teams in the league now. Manchester United and Tottenham are also fighting for this now. Two of these three teams will be making it top 4 at the end of the season as it seems. Because Liverpool are far behind in the league table as of now. They got a really big hit by Manchester City. Anyway, I think one of these teams will definitely be Manchester United despite this loss against Newcastle. But I'm indecisive about the last member.

I'd like to see Newcastle there honestly because this is a huge achievement for them.

I don't know what is happening, Manchester united is playing a defensive game and they hardly reach the mid field, no until the last five minutes which they took courage to make two attempt that couldn't be converted to a goal. I guess united hasn't settle down yet due to the pressure from the host Newcastle.

Newcastle is in control of the game had three corners that one of them nearly scored. Willock lost his opportunity to score for his side. Newcastle had so much opportunities in the first half to net Manchester United's post but they couldn't break the deadlock. The first half is over and it is still goaless from both clubs. I believe that in the second half Manchester united might score or Newcastle.

Bruno Fernandes' performance looked so disappointing in that match, the midfield didn't work effectively and lost concentration in controlling Newcastle. Marcel Sabitzer and Scott McTominay were also less effective at keeping depth, so it was so easy for the Newcastle players to try to build attacks and Maximin was so difficult to guard because Diogo Dalot played too wide. Manchester United's front line didn't get the chance to score goals because the midfield didn't make a good contribution to them.

Luckily they had De Gea who made several saves and Lisandro Martinez also performed above the average of the other nine players. Competition in the top three is getting more interesting where Newcastle managed to rank third because they conceded fewer goals than Manchester United.

Yes, they made a mistake to fire Tuchel, but we can understand they fired Potter. Potter failed to improve Chelsea performance, he even made Chelsea performance worse.
