I guess being Brighton right now is the worst timing they could have because Manchester City won't allow for another game to end with neither a draw nor a loss after losing two games in a row. This would be a result that literally nobody in their mind can imagine right now. Guardiola will make sure that this won't happen and yes, it is also a home game for Manchester City which obviously doesn't make it any easier for Brighton. It would need some negligibility on part of Manchester City in order for Brighton to have a chance like they did have against Manchester United at Old Trafford. But Pep knows how to sharpen their senses to prevent that from happening.

Rodri was unavailable when Arsenal beat City, but it is definitely not an excuse, City should be able to cope without certain players, and what that means is that if they think they are lacking replacements in a particular department, they should go for reinforcements, and i really think they need another defensive midfielder in January.

This means that Chelsea will have many times to practice and focus their efforts only in English football. They will not have fatigue but now Chelsea is giving me a poor vibe.
No matter what you preach to me, I am still not confident of Chelsea this weekend and anyone betting on Chelsea is taking a very big risk.
For Chelsea to rebuild and become what they are is not by urgency, they need to realise that they are no longer a big club and build from there onwards.

Of course mate, that's a good point you made, because I see nothing special or advantage about Chelsea playing from home but however if they should say Chelsea will have a home advantage how about those other matches they lost at there home.

The truth is that weather playing from home or not what matters is performance so there is no home advantage if they are very low in performance, and secondly is very obvious that Chelsea is no longer the way they use to be, because you can hardly predict there matches because when you feel they are beginning to peak form the next thing they became worster.

Perhaps I don't think they stand any chance against the Arsenal team.

Home advantage doesn't turn out in favour of the home team most times, so it's not proper enough to use that as a reason to think the home team will win against the visiting team, it's most likely only when the home team by all indications are better off than the team away then that way we can say the advantage is enough for the team at home to get a definite win.

In the case of Chelsea they are just beginning to pick up from their bad form since this season, and meet a team with such a sound form after two wins is most likely not a promising win, Chelsea has not really been lucky with home games this season but then let's hope this will be different and they could get something out of it but then I'm sure they would get a goal or want to steal a point from Arsenal, but then Arsenal still stand a better position to win.

I can't conclude on who is going to win the match. Arsenal is really in form, and Chelsea have been playing poorly since the beginning of the season. The international break was another disaster and this time it was the turn of Liverpool's mainstay left back, Andrew Robertson, who had to be sidelined due to a shoulder injury he suffered while playing for Scotland against Spain last week. Reportedly, the shoulder injury was quite serious and he had to be out for up to 10 weeks. This is clearly a loss for Liverpool, especially as his role as a starter can never be replaced. This week there is also a Merseyside derby match against Everton and I think this time Liverpool's defense will be a little loose on the left side of the defense. I hope Kloop can overcome this problem and put the right player in place of Andrew Robertson.

International break is always a disaster and there must be injury problem when players go to play for their countries. The coaches don’t like it when players go back home to play for their countries but nothing can be done about that, no matter what is at stake and even if there is a champions league final to play players must honor their country whenever they are being called upon.

A lot of players usually pick up injuries in international matches which could probably be as a result of changes in play pattern. It is not only Robertson of Liverpool that picked up injury this time even Disasi of Chelsea picked up a knock as well though it’s not too serious but we are not sure if he would be available for selection tomorrow against Arsenal. Robertson’s injury on the other is a serious one and will be challenging for Kloop to manage other players available on the left defense. Tsimikas is available and will immediately fill in that space though he cannot fully perform Robertson’s role but he can be managed until he recovers from the injury.

I remember when Jose maurinho's was complaining about international breaks, that his players don't always come back the same, because they will end up picking an injury 🤕 before they return to their clubs.
I saw a video of neymar picking an injury during the Brazil game, and I felt bad. I feel international games are more aggressive than normal club side games.

You're making good points, though Blues are not relenting but bouncing back to competitive form and 100% ready to take on any opposition this season, it doesn't matter the level of elite performance but what matters is grabbing three points at the end of the day. I would be happy if Chelsea becomes the first team to end the unbeaten streak winnings of Arsenal this season.
