Was Ten Hag's decision to dump De Gea and buy Onana the best decision? I don't think so. He has conceded 19 times in 11 matches. Pretty bad stats with fantastic transfer prices. Even Onana also did not only make one mistake resulting in a goal. I don't blame him all, because their defence is not very good either. But it seems that Ten Hag's football philosophy is not entirely running smoothly. Many supporters hope De Gea can return to Man United.

Ten Hag left De Gea leave the team because of some issues they had not because he is not good for the tea, which is a very wrong decision because De Gea is one of the best players in Manchester United last season because of his good saves that helped them qualify for the Champions League, and using Onana as his replacement is not a bad idea either because Onana was a good keeper at Ajax and Inter Milan as well, so I think if he is given some chances, he can improve his performance, but the errors he was making consistently that resulted in goals were the main reason Manchester United fans dislike him. But I think if he is given time, he can prove himself as a good replacement for De Gea.

Letting De Gea leave was a wrong call by Manchester United, even though they wanted to make  Onana the 1st choice they would've retained him in the club just like Arsenal did with Ramsdale and Raya this season, De Gea would've helped them keep in some important matches like the UCL games against Bayern Munich and Galatasaray  and United wouldn't had lost both especially the match against Galatasaray where Onana failed to catch weak shots and even allowed icardi to find his height it would be tough to do that against David De Gea.

 Well i fail to understand why Onana is underperforming in Manchester United currently cause he was good under Ten Hag at Ajax and even did well last season at Inter, but is currently finding it difficult to adapt at Manchester United although he's good with his feet but that's not enough cause he'll need to start helping his team to save them from dropping points by catching simple shots.

First of all, he shouldn't have got rid of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Secondly, he should have got rid of Harry Maguire. he definitely should have sold him for 25 million that was being offered for him even a few days ago if I recall correctly..

Thirdly, he shouldn't have gotten rid of De Gea. Right now, it is just his old Ajax buddies in Manchester United. He let Cristiano Ronaldo go. Now, who does he have as the striker? And meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo is scoring at an unbelievable rate. This year Cristiano Ronaldo has scored more goals than anyone so far if I am not wrong. He brought a new goalkeeper, and why do we not see any improvement?

In the latest statement, one of the Red Devils' defenders, Lindelof, has expressed his desire to continue strengthening Manchester United for a very long time and even though his contract only ends in 2025, he is very confident that Manchester United will provide a new deal before that time comes. I think actually Lindelof is not too bad as a back-up defender and sometimes he can be relied on well when the main player is injured or absent due to a card penalty.

Lindelof's role is very central and I think he is much better than Harry Maguire. But his time with Manchester United only has 2 seasons remaining and if Manchester United don't want to keep him at Old Trafford, maybe he will have to leave as a free agent in the end.

Not so good for Manchester United not forgetting the qualities he poseess,confident and good with the ball and like you mentioned a good background defender.
He is a better defender to Maguire and should get more minutes if he doesn't leave. Man United are chasing new defenders he may as well be among  the list of players to be sold out.
Inter Milan brought a good fee for him to be bought but Man United coach declined the offer. Two years and he can still be sold he hasn't really influenced Man United defense.

Of course, in every training session, Lindelof also fights for the starting place, but Varane and Martinez are still not replaceable at the moment. Moreover, we know that Martinez has been Erik ten Hag's favorite son since he was at Ajax, so it is quite difficult to shift his position. Lindelof will try to give his best for Manchester United and even though up to now he has only been a bench option, he seems quite satisfied with this decision. It's only natural that Manchester United rejected Inter's offer because there is no other defender who can replace Lindelof and his role is enough to help this team when needed. Lindelof is confident he will still be useful for the Red Devils and it was a very good attitude for him to show.

Harry Maguire is not a defender anymore. He is someone who you would like to see in the outfit of your opponent, not yours. After so many incredible mistakes that he made, I am definitely surprised that he is still in the Manchester United squad. And the thing is, he still plays regularly as the first-team player. That actually amazes me a lot. And meanwhile, we have the quote saying that he is still a very important player for the squad. Honestly, I think the coach has gone mad. He should be checked if his mental health is actually okay or not.

But you are assuming that De Gea wouldn't have made any mistakes, but in reality he has made mistakes more often in recent times. Onana's start for Manchester United was far from perfect, but Ten Hag also played games with De Gea and I don't know they parted ways, but I don't know if De Gea was still interested in staying. When Ten Hag decides against a player, he almost has ideological reasoning and doesn't allow a player to quickly get back into the game. They finally need a world class coach again and for me Ten Hag is definitely not one of those.

In short, De Gea has more experience in the Premier League than Andre Onana. This has certainly made De Gea better in terms of appearance, but a decline in performance due to age and tactical reasons has made Ten Hag choose to bring in Andre Onana to replace him. Andre Onana is not bad, but he has not been very good in his adaptation process to the Premier League.

I agree that fans need to lower their expectations for Onana's appearance. He will be fine this season if he gets good support, but if he gets pressure then it certainly won't help him change. Ten Hag must take a good approach to improve the form of each of his players, this includes improving the dressing room atmosphere to be more harmonious.

Regarding first season performance between  David De Gea and Andre Onana almost the same, start bad performed and I think Andre Onan just need time for adapting well with Erik ten Hag strategy. When De Gea arriving for the first time in Manchester United he has solid defender position such as Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and support with solid in holding midfielder. Difference with Andre Onana seems all conceded goals are his mistake without see weakness position on defender.

I think Andre Onana will be better than David De Gea in the future, if Manchester United have solid defender not easily conceded goals on every match and seems not difficult for Andre Onana make clean sheet on every games.

Erling Haaland is better version of a top striker in EPL. He's weigh level up and experienced than Rasmus Højlund, though the new boy is trying his possible best. Rasmus Højlund is a good player with fast understanding chemistry with his teammates. Despite the poor form of Manchester United, he has always proven to be an outstanding player in the team, Erik Ten Hag is also proud of the newly signed attacker, people do consider him to be young to handle such crucial frontline position in Manchester united but he's exceptionally having one of the peaks in EPL currently, also making impacts in UEFA Champions League this season. He's young and have more promising years to play football.

That will be a crucial match for Man City post the international break. As fans, we're hoping for a victory. Playing at the Etihad Stadium, Man City should be the favorites and should secure a comfortable win. Anyway good news is that some injured players are expected to be back, giving Pep with an opportunity to choose the best lineup. Brighton is a strong team with the potential to beat anyone. Summing up Man City's recent losses in the English Premier League, they'll likely be highly motivated to get all three points in their home game against Brighton.

Of course, it was a crucial match for Manchester City. Pep Guardiola has a good chance to stop his team's streak of bad results after two unwanted defeats in the last two matches, the chance of winning is good because Manchester City is playing at home.

Brighton is not a weak team and their goal statistics in the last 8 matches seem to have warned everyone that they are capable of being a threat to any team. Manchester City's defense will have to be very wary of Brighton's players if they don't want to concede, but I believe that Manchester City has no doubts in this match. Manchester City is not going to lose this match against Brighton in my opinion. This is one of the easier matches for Manchester City. And I expect Manchester City to get all three points from this match. I know they have lost against today's weaker opponent recently (wolves). And after that they lost against Arsenal.  And those are actually the reasons why I believe Manchester City is going to perform better because they know they have to get three points from this match. Otherwise it is going to be tough for them to stay at the top of the table and stay in close competition with Arsenal.  So yes, I think Manchester City will win this match against Brighton.

even though it's still early in the season but Manchester City has already suffered 2 defeats and Manchester City still has 30 more matches to play in the Premier League, I'm a little worried about Manchester City's current performance which is not yet completely consistent and the absence of 2 players in the main squad Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri will slightly affect their performance in facing matches in the Premier League and also in the Champions League. Buying players is luck sometimes and Ten Hags' decision to buy Onana is not the best at all, we all know that Manchester United's defense has defaulted not having a good goalkeeper has finished everything, imagine your goalkeeper of a big club like Manchester United conceding goals in every game shows a lot of dangers to the progress of the club. the numbers are just very bad conceding 19 times is hilarious. but even if the defense is bad the keeper should be able to defend the goal post but it got to the extent Manchester United had a loss net. and the last time is Maguire and now is onana, maguire has even tried this season.

Andre Onana is a good goalkeeper, but he needs sufficient adaptation to improve his performance. His performance was good but he conceded a lot of goals, but I think he will be more adaptive from game to game. I'm aware that Onana isn't at his best yet, so I don't think people should have high expectations for him too soon.

Overall Manchester United is not in good form. Onana is bad, as are the defense, midfielders and strikers. If Manchester United really needs improvement, then the entire team must work hard to realize what the fans expect.

With Andre Onana, I don't think Manchester united will develop good performance in this season because the goalkeeper is not displaying what will make the fans to relax on him when the team started meeting big teams like Manchester city, Chelsea and Liverpool which we know that they are very strong in premier league competition. If Manchester united coach fail to work on this poor performance before the end of the tournament, he can receive a sack letter, because the team has adopted potential players in this season but there is no improvement in their matches. I came to discovered that if Manchester united defenders is good, their goalkeeper will not experience those poor performance, which Manchester united defenders have a strong role to play to move the team to another next level in their remaining matches.

Ronaldo's exit was understandable, before that, he was ( Cristiano Ronaldo ) was disrespected by Erik Ten Hag. Same strategy used on David De Gea too. How do you treat players who carry the club on them heads dearly badly?

David De Gea, already accepted to reduce whatever he receives, Manchester United went ahead to leave him hanging out there without no clear communication. That also was disrespectful. He should have been left for a season to be the back up player for Andrea Onana though. Erik Ten Hag has made his decisions, revolutions take time, let's hope they do better now.

After defeating Manchester City, Arsenal is more confident than before. I am very certain that Arsenal will defeat Chelsea  next week.

Arsenal's win against City was so important for them, they finally got to defeat City after such a long time and it will give them confidence in the league as well, they are strongly amongst the favorites to win the league this season. Arsenal ought to defeat Chelsea this weekend, but i am sensing an upset, everyone has already written Chelsea off in that game, we all think it should be an easy win for Arsenal, but maybe Pochettino's boys would spring a surprise in that game and come away with something from it, i'd keep my finger's crossed on that one.

Arsenal is currently in its best performance after beating Manchester City, which is the strongest rival in the Premier League, and that is what makes Arsenal even more confident of being able to win the title in the Premier League this season.
The match against Chelsea will certainly be a fairly easy match for Arsenal because currently Chelsea is not in goods condition and when compared to Manchester City Chelsea is not that tough an opponent for Arsenal.
Even so, Pochettino will not let Arsenal take point they will try hard in this match to improve their current position even though it is not easy it could be that Chelsea will hold on to a draw.

Chelsea is not winning against Arsenal. I am pretty confident about Arsenal winning this match. Chelsea has been able to win two matches in a row, but this is going to bring an end to their winning streak. Arsenal is definitely competing for the English Premier League title. And they are not going to let things go easily at all. I am pretty sure that they are going to win against Chelsea, the bigger question is about how many goals. I predict it is going to be something like 2–0 at least. I believe that is going to be the list goal difference between Chelsea and Arsenal and it is going to be in favour of Arsenal for sure.

It is very possible, Arsenal is in high confidence after winning the match against Manchester City and also Arsenal's performance is quite impressive this season so it is possible that they can win the match against Chelsea next weekend with a convincing score even though the match is played at Chelsea's home ground.
I think it is quite reasonable that Arsenal are the favorites in this match because the performance/quality of the Chelsea team is far below Arsenal.
I also have no doubts that Arsenal can achieve a convincing victory in this match.

For me I don’t see any games against Chelsea as a walkover regardless of their position on the table because Arsenal know the history and how the traditional big teams can turn it on when it’s a head to head. I dont think the game will be an easy game as people expect.. Chelsea's numbers have not been bad atall.. Numbers wise, they might click soon. In fact, they are underperforming. Plus its a derby again.

Honestly I’m not sure blowing them away is something Arsenal can easily do. Although they beat them 0-1 at Stanford  Bridge last season. They're not as bad as people make them to be. Imo, they're a better side than Manchester United, their problems are in the final third - they lack efficiency.
One can never be too confident with a big away game, big teams may stink all season but will always want to use the big games to prove something. I hope that Arsenal assert themselves & come back with the needed victory.

So I think it is very unfair to compare Rasmus Hojlund with Haaland because both players are in different places.

Do not forget that Arsenal has defeated Manchester City twice this season so they weren't afraid of  Manchester city at the first place. But their ability to defeat Manchester city gave them another level of confidence to pursue the title league and not only to win Chelsea.
Arsenal Vs Chelsea is not giving me much anxiety because Chelsea is no longer regarded as a big club by me. If it was Arsenal Vs Newcastle or Arsenal Vs Brighton, I would have expected a more fierce meeting.
But then Chelsea and Arsenal are good in playing draws and it might repeat again this time around if time is not taken. I do not also know if Saka will be available for the meeting, if yes, there might not be a surviving chance for Chelsea.

That is not true, Man City was defeated by Arsenal just once and it was 10 days ago which is still their first and only match together this season. Maybe you mistook it for the Community Shield game, this happened before the EPL started and can't be counted as part of this season. Everyone has their opinion though, and for me, I will choose Man City over Arsenal multiple times over.
