Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025

So far with the level of competitiveness in the European Premier League, only one team has managed to still maintain it's integrity as a big team and that team is Liverpool. Every other team has just been battling inconsistency though, Liverpool have got to prove themselves one more time tommorow when they battle Southampton from an away side. I'm seeing a difficult game but still, Jurgen Klopp has always got one more trick under his sleeves and as such, I'm believing Liverpool for a win tomorrow.

Well, Liverpool is currently in a bit of a dip in form as well. They drew with both WBA and Newcastle, teams they should be beating most of the time. If they do not win tonight (and Souhampton is a decent team - it will be a hard game), there will be talk they are in crisis as well.

It's a tough season, not like anything we have witnessed before. All teams will have dips in form and results, the winner will be the team that manages its roster the best and not the one that plays the best football.

Chelsea 1 - 3 Manchester City

City scored 2 goals in 3 minutes! I see that chelsea lose before the game ended the first half. sad

This season is bad for Jadon Sancho and good for Phil Foden. If Phil Foden is able to keep up his good performance, Manchester City will have a good free transfer from their home-grown talented player. Phil Foden and Jadon Sancho were grown up in Manchester City but Sancho decided to leave and grow his career in Dortmund. He took a lead in past few season but this one, it seems that Phil Foden took his opportunities in the chaotic season of Manchester City.

It will be interesting to see the personal race between Jadon and Phil if Jadon has a transfer to Manchester United.

Arsenal got a good come back, they have 3 wins in a row. We talked about different things 3 match-weeks ago. The pressure over Arteta's shoulders is lower now.

To an extent, "Yes" but there's still some pressure when it comes to making our experienced players ^{[Auba, Willian, Pepe, and a few more]} performing the way they used to do.
^{- If something happens to Smith Rowe and Ozil isn't recalled by that time [while not signing any creative midfielders], then they could end up on a similar path they once were in previous months.}
As for today, I'm going with a draw for Southampton vs Liverpool game.

Now Liverpool need to give more then 100% because race is very tight after very good performance from Manchester teams and they have no to waste if they fail to give then surely they are going to lost again right now Tottenham, Manchester United, Manchester City and Leicester City all in hunt and try to be cut things for good result from them.

Southampton vs Liverpool would be another match every of the team eyeing the championship would look for. Even if Southampton stopped Liverpool on a draw, it would help many other teams.

I find the current ranking as normal in whole, meaning top teams are holding the first 5 places except Chelsea switching sides with Spurs, now they need to fix their position with Man City moving forward to the second place maybe. ManU in the other hand did a good job lately and corrected its catastrophic debut this season.

Ozil no longer has any future on Arsenal. He wasnt even benched, he was literally not included in the squad lineup even when he has the cut above skills among most Arsenal's player. Thats basically means he is done in Arsenal

Shit happens but next match should be easy for Chelsea to get 3 points from Fulham but this also prove another thing, that Mendy is not as good as everyone says. Not saying that he is completely shit but he is just decent

It will be great if this happens. I cant picture Liverpool lose against Southampton and the best I could think of would be a draw, besides that Southampton has had 3 draws out of their last 5 matches and anoher draw tonight would be possible

What happen with Chelsea at first beginning of Primer League have good start with always win and Mendy make many fantastic record by clean sheet, but now many bad result get by Chelsea loss from Arsenal and playing draw with Aston Villa and last night defeat by Manhcester City 1-3, what happen with Chelsea team right now because they have full player right now and without have any injury player, will Lampard position still safe after get many bad result before, I just assumstion have any match to make Abramovich happy with Lampard if can win.

Liverpool will want to win today's match by any means. They have drawn in the previous two matches. If they do not win this match, they will not be able to hold their top position for long. Manchester United and Manchester City are playing very well. They are consistently winning. If Liverpool does not win today, they will fall behind.

Danny Ings looks potential to give goak for Southampton and he was Liverpool player before selling to Southampton, I think Walcott could be more danger and become would be a threat to my Liverpool line. But the possibility of Liverpool can still reach full points after failing to draw Newcastle United. Liverpool are still without Van Dijk and Fabinho will be the center back to replace Van Dijk's position, the possibility that Joe Matip will be a partner for Fabinho against Southampton.

The lineups for today's Southampton vs Liverpool game has just been released. Thiago Alcantara has been handed a start for the game. He would be managing our midfield alongside Georginio Wijnaldum and Oxlade-Chamberlain. I'm glad he's back after a lengthy injury since he signed with us. His presence means that Hendo would fall back and support Fabinho at Liverpool's backline.

This match is a MUST win for us. Man Utd and Leicester city has caught up with us due to the last two draws we had. Southampton might be a hothead but Liverpool really needs those 3 points. Moving forward, any points earned now will play a vital role in deciding the season's title winners.

Last match before short break in Premier League and we have interesting match with Southampton and Liverpool.
All recent h2h matches resulted in win for Liverpool but Southampton had one of the best starts in their EPL history and Danny Ings back in the team.
On the other side Liverpool has only one defeat and best striker in Premier League Salah; win here would give them important 3 points more Manchester United have on second place.
Away win odds are low, so I may try special bet Liverpool win/draw and both team not to score.

It doesn't matter about the draw in the previous two games for Liverpool, because Southampton were also not very good in the previous game and it was a bad situation for both. Liverpool are still at the top and with the same struggle to get 3 points then of course, with the status of leader of the table this game will be won by Liverpool, but I just believe Liverpool will win with a narrow goal gap.

I'm just a little calmer in the Liverpool game at the moment. Even though it's conceded faster but I'm sure Liverpool will respond soon. The first half was not over for them yet, and there was a chance to make it a draw for the rest of the first half.

Liverpool did not win a match in their 2 previous EPL match against West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United. If they fail to win today's match, Liverpool will potentially be overtaken by Manchester United and several other teams if these teams are able to win their respective matches, who only have a narrow point difference. Will that Liverpool lose today ?

Am sorry for being a sadist buddy, but I want Liverpool to lose this match while United win against Burnley. This would mean that Manchester United would top the table and guess who their next opponents would be? Liverpool at Anfield
