Tonight we have a Manchester Derby playing to qualify for the EFL cup finals.
The reds at home are in a great form as they are undefeated in their past 7 games and they are looking to be the new leaders in the PL.

Im not going to sugarcoat this but Manchester City is so much better with 69% ball possession until the half time. This is pretty much watching Manchester City play against one of those bottom three teams. The good thing about this is that Manchester United is pretty luck with some last minute goal and 2nd half comeback, Im expecting this to happen.

They're probably not that important but I don't know if this will affect how the whole team performs later on.

Its not going to affect the team's performances but it might affect Premier League or basically every football league in England. We have seen alot of these covid19 cases so far and it would be bad if somehow the league is suspended once again though

Manchester City's next match are going to be against Brighton home. Manchester City haven't lost a match since losing to Tottenham 2-0 away 2 months ago. They defeated Chelsea 3-1 away a few days ago and they played really dominantly. Brighton have no chance on this match and City will win easily.

I expected City to win, well wasn't very confident, but didn't tho ManU will fail to score and there will be more than one goal difference. Anyway as you said, ManU has now a motivation to win something. In the other hand, City is doing good from a while and they will have an opportunity to smash Spurs

Man City is gradually closing on the gap with Liverpool on EPL table with two outstanding  matches while on 29 points the table leader Liverpool has 33 points perhaps if City wins their two outstanding matches they will definitely top the table.
City will easily beat Brighton they have a good squad despite fielding an almost second  team due to some key players infected with Covid against Chelsea they still won the match convincingly, they also defeated Man Utd yesterday carabao cup semi final thus had picked form lately.

Man Utd has been good this season but not that great. Their performance is good but their lack of consistency should be a cause for worry for Ole. This style of win 2, lose 1 won't get them that far in the league if they continue like this. I don't know if you noticed but how many big fixture games have your team won? Not so much. Draw against Chelsea and Man city and lost to both Arsenal and Tottenham. I know Man Utd will win Burnley without much work and top the league but hiw would they fare against a Liverpool side that is hungry for a win after 3 consecutive games (2 draws, 1 lost) without a win?

I think Manchester City played well yesterday night and deserved the win.However Manchester United I think is more focused on the Premier League rather than the Efl cup and that is probably the reason why they lost yesterday evening.Mancheste City is coming again on the rise and should win easily against Brighton this upcoming week.

He’s a really talented guy, I don’t know why Ole is preferring McTominay or whatever his name is, to VDB. If VDB is to leave then I don’t blame him, he is too good to be an unused sub. The guy was a star for Ajax in the CL, he deserves more of a chance.

I don't know why they bought in the first place when they had Bruno Fernandes. Now Bruno Fernandes is playing so well that he has now made his position solid in first team picture. With that, I can understand manager stand in playing Bruno and making De Beek on standby. Van de Beek is not a natural defensive midfielder while McTominay is. I've seen Ole testing out Van de Beek on that position but that also takes time to adjust there as well given they have already 4 defensive midfielders- Fred, McTominay, Pogba and Matic. So it becomes quite a difficult situation for manager as well.

Maybe loaning him out for the time being. Its good to send him out on loan to develop elsewhere.

I haven't seen him significantly become a core of the united play. it will be difficult for him to get more attention from Ole.

Van de Beek transfer to manutd was a panic buy, their top targets were Sancho and Jack Grealish, they needed to strengthen their attack they never wanted a midfielder. They needed Jack. Grealish who is a utility player he can play LW, RW, and AM but the deal failed after he signed a 5 years renewal deal with Aston Villa, and also they were unable to reach an agreement with Dortmund demands of £120m for Sacho. so they had no option than to get VDB who they thought could play AM too since they were desperate to sign someone and VDB was open to playing in the top European league too. The move hasn't gone as expected due to unlimited game time.

In the EFL Cup final, mancity will face Tottenham, this is a tough opponent, but mancity should be able to win if he can control ball control in his game.
Focus more on efl to win because EPL has a long way to go.

Now it is still in week 18 and the points are not too far away as long as you can win you can definitely catch up with the first table, Liverpool are now not as aggressive as last season and any team can beat it especially Mancity, I believe Pep is able to restore first position again this season. .
