Arsenal have missed their opportunity to overtake Spurs in the standings, but they are still in the Eurocup zone...

Arsenal has 54 points, Tottenham has 54 points but leading with golas. Tottenham has played 30 matches, Arsenal has played 29 matches, remaining one awaiting match for Arsenal which will determine this. 8 matches would still be played, who would be in the 4th position is difficult to predict for now but on a neutral ground, Arsenal have more chance as it has awaiting match to play.

English Premier league top four is becoming dramatic like other leagues like Italian. From the start of the season Westham United has been the favourites to stay there and they have been there for some time. Arsenal who rather started up so poorly later became the talk of the league,  they rose and occupied the top four with so may outstanding matches. I am having the feelings that Arsenla may waste the remaining of their outstanding matches this period. You never can tell.

The match between Crystals Palace and Arsenal surprised me, no one was expecting that, it was full of surprises, not even just a single goal, but 3 goals without Arsenal scoring just a single goal.

The match did not surprise many people, people like us that follow the premier league more than other leagues know what Crystal Palace can do. They perform all the dirty and deadly deeds in the league. On a normal day, Crystal Palace can beat any team in the English premier league but yet they cannot near the top four nor go to europa.

I would say it was an accident. And Arsenal fans should forget that. Such a crushing defeat against Crystal Palace was unimaginable. Arsenal's defender and the goalkeeper made several mistakes, resulting in Arsenal's defeat. Their defenders need to be more careful. Arsenal will be able to easily qualify for the Champions League, even if they can fix their mistakes quickly.

The defeat of Crystal Palace should be a lesson for Arsenal and Arteta to improve their defense so they don't experience the same thing in the next match, I think it's time for Arsenal to forget about this defeat and prepare to face a team that is also quite strong in the next match on Saturday (Brighton), the defeat to Crystal Palace has indeed knocked Arsenal out of the top 4 now, but that doesn't mean their chances of the champions league ticket have been closed, because I think one game postponed could be the key for Arsenal to end the season in the big four.

With this performance, I don't see them achieving champions league hopes. Everything went wrong today, from poor passes to wrongs moves. It was obviously one of the worst performances of the season by Arsenal. Right from the goalkeeper, the defense, the midfield and the strike force were simply not there. Crystal Palace deserves the Win. They played better and pressed harder.

If they can handle it well, they will return stronger and will be able to protect their difference on the table. Tottenham and Manchester United have to see more bad matches from Arsenal, at least two more bad matches. So Arsenal still have full control for the fourth place competition.

They can lose, any team can lose. Any player can make mistake but the opponent is not too strong in this match. Worse, Arsenal players shown very low mentality in that match. It is dangerous for them in future matches if Arteta can not improve their players at least mentally.

We have to admit that Arsenal's performance in this match was bad. They didn't play well. The performance of their defenders in particular has disappointed me. Crystal Palace but did not attack too much. Probably only 6 shots they did. They were able to score 3 goals. Arsenal's players have lost confidence after trailing 2-0 in the first half. As a result, we did not see a good performance from them in the second half.

What a disappointing game from Arsenal. now Arsenal's position in the standings is not safe, because it has been displaced by Tottenham.
Arsenal made possession, made lots of shots. but none of them scored. Crystal Palace made shots, 5 on target and 3 goals. see how effective the game from Crystal Palace is.

I strongly doubt Manchester United are going to get that 4th spot or even European league spot if they are not careful. Arsenal were unexpectedly very poor in that game but we have to give it to the coach of Crystal Palace for his genius display tactically and also the Palace players for rising up to the occasion. Tottenham is ahead of Arsenal at moment but I think people are suddenly forgetting Arsenal FC still has a game in hand; although Arsenal still have to face Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham, WestHam, and Newcastle which could be tough opponent, I still think Arsenal can pull couple of wins from those games.

We just need to trust them to work professionally, and I also believe that they will work according to the applicable rules without harming one party and benefiting the other. If there is a controversial decision and they are proven to have cheated (what I mentioned above) it will be detrimental to themselves in the future. It's a bit strange but that's the decision for the leader in the match later.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea have not beaten any real top team this season. It's even more annoying for Arsenal fans  because they have been playing only once a week, the team should be giving more but only to be humbled by Vieira Crystal Palace. Probably, this loss will give the club and fans a reality check because in recent weeks they have been talking about overtaking Chelsea, sadly they be overtook by Spurs and with tough games ahead they might not make it to top 4.

Apparently you haven't looked at the standings for a long time - Arsenal, even with this defeat, remains the favorite and sole leader in the race for 4th place. The fight will only escalate if Arsenal lose their game they have in hand. As for the eurozone, West Ham and United are there (it covers 7 first places).

They can lose, any team can lose. Any player can make mistake but the opponent is not too strong in this match. Worse, Arsenal players shown very low mentality in that match. It is dangerous for them in future matches if Arteta can not improve their players at least mentally.

In the first half Arsenal were totally clueless but after the break they ran the show but they weren't clinical enough.  Everyone were sloppy and tired. Nothing was there, no intensity and mentality to cope. Crystal palace was way better team than us both in attacking and defending wise. It was the reality test of where Arsenal will finish this season. However, Arsenal have a good team and a good connection amongst the team and the fans. I think this was a blip, and we will learn from our mistakes. I know that the beauty of the game. You win, lose or draw. The most important thing is to lift your heads up for the next game and be back for the best results.

Not only Arsenal, Manchester also can't do much when dealing with Crystal Palace in the Premier League 2021/2022. That was an exceptionally unfortunate Arsenal execution against a well balanced Crystal Palace side. Typical losing attitude in an absolute necessity win game for Arsenal. Crystal Palace had everything turning out well for them even after an exceptionally unremarkable presentation, they took their chances but Arsenal on the opposite side experienced a long break syndrome as they generally do. Their top 4 chances have recently dropped definitely.

I didn't think that Chelsea would accept such a big defeat against a weak team in the English league. I hope this doesn't affect the mentality of Chelsea players when they face Real Madrid. Expecting the Premier League title seems too difficult. I think their focus is on holding the UCL cup to stay at Stamford Bridge. The points difference with Man city and Liverpool is quite far away, only a miracle can bring them champions this season. Staying in 3rd place I think the best target, for them to stay in the UCL Zone for next season. I'm pretty sure it's got Tuchel more excited for the next game.
Maybe the rest of Chelsea's game looks tough because they will against Man United, Arsenal and Leicester. But I think they still look statistically superior to the matches. So I think they will stay at number three until the end of the season.
