Crazy things happening in the league today. I may start becoming easy in Manchester United, the English Premier League is probably going to be very difficult this season. Chelsea found that out today when they got beaten by Leeds United by three goals to one just a Goal shy from the humiliation brentford did to Manchester United. Also today Manchester city had to come from behind to get a draw against Newcastle United.

I think a lot of people have the same fate as me (lost betting money on chelsea vs leeds and man city vs newcastle matches)

now Liverpool is ranked 15th and MU is ranked 19th, the match between the two teams will be very exciting, I hope MU is not humiliated by Liverpool at their own home

Today we can see 2 surprises at once that cannot be explained by logic 2 top clubs missed 3 points which based on Head to Head can be won easily
With this bad result I'm sure Chelsea will push themselves to get new players they already have a reason to do it.

While in other matches I still don't understand what motivated Newcastle to play so well today, they almost beat a favorite team like Man city.

This is what makes the Premier League even more exciting, when last week there was a surprise from Brentford for this week Leeds and Newcastle appeared as antagonists from big clubs.
No one would have expected the result like this, Luckily Manchester City can make this even more exciting with 2 equalizing goals from Haaland and B. Silva but it's a shame with Chelsea, they controlled the game but their case was the same as MU last week.

Leading Manchester city from first half doesn’t guarantee you a win. Their response to crisis is top notch unlike Manchester United and Chelsea lol. Today was a hard day to bet, you wouldn’t think Chelsea getting beaten by 3-0 against leads would happen.

Chelsea isn't that same solid team it was a couple of years ago. Expect them to have unexpected loses to opponents that are considered weak. First of all, congratulations to Leeds United. They really wanted the match and they won. As for Chelsea, in which match did Loftus Cheek saved Chelsea and they make him start in the first 11 in this match? They didn't have Kante, there was no man who can tackle. Loftus Cheek wasted every ball he got. He mishandled every ball. Not a single vertical pass. Loftus cheek is quite slow, cannot run. Why not Ziyech instead of Havertz, Kovacic instead of Gallagher when there is such a dynamic opponent? Why does Tuchel insist on this rotating squad? Tuchel lost maybe 15 games from rotation last season. He shouldn't do it anymore.

Probably the best league, full of unexpected occurances and this weekend carried a lot of unexpected match outcomes. From Saturdays game where we have Crystal Palace attempt a come back and won, Southampton to beat Leicester City from a come back too and today, we've seen Leeds beat Chelsea in a humiliation match. I didn't exactly view the Chelsea vs Leeds game but, made sure I watched the highlights after so many talks on the game and I couldn't place Chelsea to have had any good impact on the game.
Manchester City on the other hand remains the leagues favourite and have managed to draw the game with Newcastle United because they are that good. Once they've got time on the clock, coming back to equalize and even win is a no question.

12 Shots and 6 of them were on target couldn't be considered normal when looking at the opponent being a city. Newcastle really executed their Strategy very well in this match especially with their 3 surprise goals which made city fans nervous I guess
This will be a notice to other clubs that Newcastle are currently quite capable of being the underdog.

The men of Leeds are not joking in this game. They have dominated the game from defence through midfield and attack. They have the possession, they have the attack and dangerous attack and the crown it all, they are leading with 2goals. I am thinking how possible it is to for Chelsea to change  the score in the second half. With these same players that I am see here, it is purely impossible.  Unless Tuchel will have to import another set of players and buy borrow a striker from Manchester City to achieve it.

Thomas Tuchel just need two changes to win this game back. Unfortunately we can't sub anybody in the midfield as both N'Golo Kanté and Mateo Kovačic are out due to injuries so either Ruben Loftus-Cheek gets substituted for César Azpilicueta or Chalobah to come in or he get moved to the midfield. The issue is that his wing isn't effective in this game and Reece James needs to be moved back to his usual wing. Playing him at his current position is slowing our attack.

Well the game isn't over yet, we didn't play that bad, it's just that the mistake from Mendy gave Leeds some motivation and they capitalized on it and now have a second goal to hold unto. The second half just began so now lets see what Chelsea can do to get something from this game.

Chelsea starts this season where they began half through last year. They have been very strong last season during the first half, but then conceded way too many goals in decisive phases of the game and they also didn't have the offensive power necessary to also score several goals per game. They often scored once and it was enough in a lot of games, but I doubt that they will compete for the trophy in their current shape.

The only good thing is that City also lost points, but it won't be an easy season either way. In a best case scenario we see a much closer field than last year when Liverpool and City led the field by more than a dozen of points.

So no doubt that this was a painful result for Chelsea but perhaps it was the right timing and functions like a wake up call. Chelsea gave away a number of offensive players. It will be interesting to see how he is going to set up the offensive for the coming games. He has a lot of players that are somewhere between midfield and offense, and Lukaku didn't work out that well. Compared to City they always had a similar situation but now solved it by signing Haaland. It feels like Chelsea could need a similar type of player.

What a freaking game! This was one of the most entertaining matches that I have seen in a long time. I am not saying that this is the match of the year yet because it is literally just the first weeks but we are seeing something special with Newcastle for sure. They were taken over and with that money they certainly became a better team but normally they are not as good as City just yet.

However, for one game they did play like they were nearly equals and they really showed City how tough they can be. City and mainly players like Foden and De Bruyne didn't really see Newcastle as big deal and tried to show themselves a bit if you ask me and this has cost them 2 points.

Whilst i'd agree with you that Newcastle really did give City a run for their money, but i'll disagree that City were lucky to get a draw today, i think it was a game of two halves, Newcastle were better in the first, whilst City were better in the second, but we could give more credit to Newcastle at the end of the game because they were the underdogs and all the odds were in favor of the visitors, so in that respect Newcastle prolly deserve more of the credit for the draw, even if it is a point apiece.

Poor Chelsea lol, Jorginho can plau in a club that presses higher and highly. Mendy also played a poor game today he contributed to Chelsea loss.

I promise you Manchester City won't win the Premier League, it's too early to start taking sides and decision's but City ? No they can't.
Newcastle failed to seal the game at least to shit Pep Guardiola's mouth telling him this is the Premier League you don't just get whatever you want easily. West Ham ? Prayers are they shouldn't get in that red zones by December else lol

Manchester United tommorow night against Liverpool, Ten Hag trying to put in a winning mentality into the lads saying they have to coke with the drive to win and take full charge of the game.

The first 2 goals were purely the fault of the Chelsea players. the first because the keeper underestimates the opponent too much. so that the opponent easily steals the ball that is played by the goalkeeper. and the second goal was also due to a chelsea player error. and after these two goals the chelsea defense became chaotic. so Leeds can add goals to 3-0 . actually the attack from chelsea is very good. but I don't know what happened. when in front of the Leeds goal they seem not calm. and many opportunities that are not executed properly. Congratulations to Leeds for proving that in the Premier League there will always be surprises. even Man city can only draw against Newcastle. two surprising games.

In the premier league you don't underate any team because anything can happen, Chelsea underated Leeds and by the time they realised it was already too late and they were two goals down. Congratulations to leeds for showing great team work and resilience against Chelsea. This will also stand as a motivation to other smaller teams who will be playing against big sides next week. Three goals against Chelsea wow I'm still shocked what a game, what a display and Leeds are not sitting top four after week three.

Leeds United - Chelsea final score 3-0. Against all expectations. Leeds United have of course gotten a bit stronger over the past year with several signings but Chelsea should normally win games like this. Even at the 2-0 score, according to the bookmakers, it might have looked good for Chelsea or at least a draw, but when the 3-0 fell it was over. But there are more teams that are disappointing. I had thought that Manchester City would be a well-oiled machine, but they were 3-1 down today and still managed to make it 3-3. At the time I still assumed that they would win, but the victory did not come.

Everyone is disappointed with Chelsea. It is shame that Leeds United can beat them with 3 scores, while Chelsea cannot score any goal at all. Chelsea actually dominated the ball possessions, but they are not effective in scoring. There are 14 shot attempts, 3 on target, but no goals. I think Chelsea players need to sharpen their ability in finishing or learn more about how to score. If no changes in Chelsea performance, they may not finish in the top 5 at the end of the season. Anyway, regarding Man City performance, they were dominating the match, made more shot attempts and take 70% of ball possessions. They seem good in attacking and midfield line, but they are weak in defense line. Man City need to strengthen their defenders if they want to be the winner this season.

Chelsea's confidence was shattered by Mendy's first mistake, which resulted in the first goal of the game, and Leeds United are well prepared and use their chances to secure three points against the blues.
Chelsea must make additional preparations, including signing more DM if possible, in order to find a suitable replacement for Kante. I believe the game would have been better if Kante had been present.

Chelsea are still having problems in terms of their midfield and defence, on the other hand in this case we also have to see the Chelsea striker is still not effective enough for now.
Tuchel will have to overhaul this and restore confidence to his players because his absence on the sidelines has had an impact on the team's performance and losses for Chelsea this week.

Chelsea suffered a heavy defeat. They entered this year with the championship motto and conceding and losing 3 goals from Leeds United really ruined them. Tuchel wasn't on the field in this game, if I remember correctly.  This must have had an effect. Still, Chelsea must win the next games to make them forget their Leeds United defeat.

Actually in this match Leeds still played their game with an open scheme and served the game from Chelsea but the problem now lies in Chelsea because indeed if we look at the 3 goals scored, the first goal was clearly Mendy's fault, for the second goal they were too loose. Moreno even though there were 3 players but they failed to duel and for Harrison's third goal, it could actually be minimized because 3 of their defenders were in front.
In this case Chelsea made a lot of unnecessary mistakes that made them crumble.

In general, it's amazing what the outsiders are doing to last season's league standings leaders... First Manchester United, today Chelsea and West Ham... Even Liverpool haven't managed to win a single game yet... Perhaps of all the other leagues, the EPL has proved to be the most unpredictable this season...

Thats English football for us, it has always been unpredictable and the most interesting part is the way newly promoted teams play. Its hard to tell if their are big teams in the Premier league at all, not long after Chelsea was defeated Manchester City also struggled to pick up a point against Newcastle utd. Its going to be a long and interesting season.
