Not unlucky I would say...they just need a few more games in order to get back in the mood and I'm sure they will start a winning streak but also it's good for them that they didn't lose the game totally and at least they got some points. After what I've seen in these 2 weeks of EPL , I'm sure that we will have one of the most entertaining season of EPL in the last years.

In the next round, Liverpool plays away with United and it will be a really epic game - the loser will receive the "title" of the main loser of the start of the season. I have already bet on United twice and lost twice, now I have the complete feeling that if I do not bet on United, it will unexpectedly win against Liverpool. This is a real dilemma.
As for the whole season, we need to see how City will play with direct competitors - if City is successful, then in terms of fighting for the first place, the season will be dull.

Liverpool seems to have started on the wrong foot. Have played two games and had two results while Manchester City have had two wins from both games they've played and are now bit by bit amassing a point difference between them both. As it is now, its 4 points difference between those two and we soon would be seeing Liverpool playing catch up and that's often unlikely when it comes to Pep and Manchester City.

Next fixtures for Liverpool would be Manchester United and I think, it could be another lose or maybe a draw for Liverpool. Let's not forget, they had a history from the pre-season games where Manchester United beat Liverpool to a 4goals to nothing. It might have been a preseason game and less important match but, its one that gives Manchester United the we can do it attitude, they've not managed to get a point from there last two games and Liverpool on there part have got 2points.

It's really going to be a struggle between these 2 and I don't see either of them managing a win.

Still unlucky with Liverpool on second Primer League match because get held draw by Crystal Palace, actually bad moment when Darwin Nunez got red card and he will miss on next match for Liverpool against with Manchester United. I think bad beginning on Primer League for Liverpool because can't get full points on last two match. Exactly with not top fourth team against make easy for Liverpool get three points but still not back to the top performance after defeating Manchester City on FA Community Shield. Need to back top performance on next match against with Manchester United if Liverpool want keep competitive with Primer League trophy in this season because rival team Manchester City success get two winning.

Unexpectedly Liverpool lost points in two consecutive games, even though the opponents Liverpool faced had quality below Liverpool.
But as we know all teams in the Premier League cannot be underestimated, so there are often surprises in the Premier League.

Gameweek three will have a big match but unfortunately, they are not competing for the title but competing to get out of the relegation zone. I agree that they are more likely to start playing well after a few games, but the rivals have started consistently well... By the way, it's interesting that their next game will be against the infamous Man U... I think it could easily be another surprise or a steady defeat for the Red Devils... But they should finally rectify the situation they got into...

Before the resumption of the league, I was convinced this would be the beginning of a new era for Manchester United but it looks more like the continuation of the same storyline. Even though they have managed to sign few players it still seems like nothing has changed, 2 loses in 2 games is a very disappointing start to the league and won't help in anyway as they sit comfortably at the bottom of the table.

If they don't win against Manchester United then there is definitely something wrong with them but I doubt they will have problems against a team like Manchester United which is not able to show at least good football as before results come your way you need to at least show some good football,they are completely lacking this.Liverpool needs to win this game at all cost although they already have messed up their chances for the title this year as they have done 2 surprise results in the first two games of the Premier League.

I was damm sure that history was going to repeat itself yesterday but now I see that no club should be written off based on the past. Glad to have been disappointed and even more glad that Crystal Palace put up a real fight. From my observation so far, it seems to me that the departure of Mane who was like Liverpool's engine at the front  may cost the club some trophies this season. I may be wrong but it is just how I have been feeling with the matches the have played so far.

They don't know Mane's value when he was in Liverpool and I was happier when he left after the end of his contract, that guy was underpaid if you compare his wages and performance with other players, he publicly said that he is playing to earn but they couldn't increase the pay rate and he is now in Bayern. Had it been that werewolf Mane was on that yesterday's match against crystal palace, it wouldn't have ended in that draw, such a poor performance from Liverpool lately.
I don't know why the top English teams are even underperforming this season, perhaps it is too early to troll them.

Statistically, liverpol should have won in these two games. There was a slight mistake liverpol made. In addition, their opponents also performed well and effectively. Their motives are great.

Absolutely! That is the worry here for Liverpool, and it is City. Yeah it is just 2 games in, there is 36 more to go, quite a lot of points left to be won and lost, but you definitely do not want City to be running clear of you at this early stage, they know how to be very consistent for a sustained period, and if you let them keep increasing the gap on you, then it might just be impossible to catch them when you actually start playing better.

Having said that, thus far Liverpool aren't playing well, i know they have a couple of injuries here and there, but they aren't playing like title contenders, they face Manchester United next, that is a game they definitely have to win, though i consider it a tricky one for them, Manchester United have lost all two games at the start of this season, they prolly might not lose the third, maybe a draw, that will leave Liverpool on 3 points from three games, and City are definitely going to grab all three against Newcastle, if all of these happen, then the gap widens, and sooner or later we might start looking at another contender for City's title, Arsenal maybe, eh?

Dominance in both games? Both teams were the second best teams in both games, with Liverpool coming from behind twice against Fulham. Fulham was the better team, but they failed to capitalize on their goal scoring chances, whereas Liverpool was good enough to capitalize on the few scoring chances they created.

Manchester United deserved to lose both games; they have yet to score a goal this season, and their only goal against Brighton was an own goal. And with their current form, they don't stand a chance against Liverpool in their next game.

Back to Manchester United. It could be next week Erik ten Hag is able to make Manchester United get full points by beating Liverpool. Is that not possible? I don't think anything is impossible.

If United lose in this super sunday, Ten Hag will get more pressure and not sure how he will survive through this. There is still drama that Ronaldo wants to leave even the transfer season only has 2 weeks left. Another lose will put Ronald more closely to the exit gate.

When compared to when they beat Manchester City in the Community Shield, Liverpool quality of play was much worse in the last two matches played in the premier league. Jurgen Klopp men lost 4 points in 2 matches, a draw against Fulham and Crystal Palace was really unexpected because the quality of players owned by Liverpool was much better than those 2 teams.
Mane departure certainly has an impact on Liverpool form of play, collaboration in attack has not been fully coherent due to having just lost one of their goal machines. Nunez still needs to adapt to the Liverpool squad, when other strikers are absent from scoring goals, Nunez role is needed to add to Liverpool goal collection in the games played.
