Manchester united surprised me by beating liverpool. It was a defeat I never expected for Liverpool. After 3 weeks liverpool has 2 points. A bad start for a team that missed the championship by a small margin last year. On the other hand Arsenal had a great 3 weeks and took the lead.

It's incredible and mind-boggling. Even before the match, I predicted (which calls into question my ability to see the future ) that the maximum that Manchester United vs. Liverpool can count on is a draw, but the results of yesterday's match turned out to be stunning for me. Here is the real surprise.

I'll paste my last post here so as not to be unfounded:

The error Liverpool did last season was getting a lot of draws which caused them second position. I prefer not repeated the same history but rather play for win than a draw. Man United are passing their worse situation, so it would be simple task for Liverpool to bring back 3 points from Manchester United. Liverpool will beat them on Monday.

Is it too early to celebrate Liverpool victory? After all, they are still playing against Manchester United, and not some team from the lower division that has just made it to the premier league. Manchester United is going through difficult times, a bad start to the season, but they are still one of the strongest teams and can fight for the victory. 2 losses in a row doesn't mean that Manchester United will only lose from now on, although I personally don't console myself with the hope of a favorable outcome in the upcoming match. Liverpool is still very strong, while Manchester United has been weakening lately. Although football is very unpredictable, it is already obvious who has the advantage and who can only count on a draw at best. Despite the predictions, I prefer to evaluate the outcome of the match only by the results.

From the looks of it, this season of the English Premier League is expected to be full of sudden twists and turns. The favorites get off to a bad start, the underdogs are full of hope and make strong teams suffer losses and points deficits. I even like it. This is what football should be like - unpredictable and full of surprises.

I had a hunch Man U could win this game, after all they had to prove that all was not yet lost for them, and Liverpool are also not in very good shape now... And the odds of them winning were very good... But after two disgraceful defeats not many people believed in them, especially against Liverpool...

Man United seems to still be playing not so well. although managed to win 2-1 against Liverpool. but it doesn't look good for their undeveloped game.
Man United didn't have much possession of the ball. and they continue to be pressured by Liverpool. Liverpool is also not in their best squad. but Man United showed a pretty good defensive game. they managed to reduce Liverpool's aggressive front line so they didn't make many goals.

They really played amazingly last night because they didn't had shaw and maguire. That's literally the only reason and they should already realize this. Martinez and Varane could be amazing duo that could make them win, of course it's all about how healthy they could stay, but that's how they should be playing. They have a great striker with Rashford if they want to use him there.

They have the team to go for top 5 again, not champions, but europa or so levels, 5-6th plaecs, all they need to do is remove the players they shouldn't play (ronaldo, shaw, maguire) and the rest will be great and they will win without a doubt and that's what matters to them.

"Liverpool is like your boyfriend with no Mane " lol okay jokes aside but on a serious note, Manchester United put up a good fight last night which we haven't seen in a long time, could this be because captain Maguire was out watching the game from the bench or the team chemistry of the fielded team was better??? If this turns out to be a case of team  chemistry am hoping ETH goes with this team and maybe keep Maguire off the team for now! Well done Red devils hope the momentum keeps going with WWWWWW.

Losing Mane seems to have disturbed the stability of Liverpool attacking line, especially like during last night match when Nunez was injured, I see if there was no one player who could take Mane role at Liverpool, I don't think Salah has been able not have a good chemistry with other Liverpool players besides Mane for so far, besides that Manchester United performance was beyond our expectations last night, Manchester appearance was quite extraordinary and the tight defense made by Martinez and Varane was really able to break every attack made by Liverpool.

Evidently the departure of Mane in this season's window had a major impact on Liverpool at the beginning of this season. The biggest mistake is that they are winless in the first 3 matches. I doubt Liverpool will be a candidate in the title race this season. Firmino and Diaz so far have not made a big contribution up front. Only mohamed Salah was the spearhead of Liverpool when Nunez was absent. we will see Liverpool next game if they fail to win again they will automatically be knocked out of the title race.

The aggressiveness and persistence of Manchester United players managed to bring the Red Devils to their first win this season, unmitigated, Manchester United got its first three points from a big team. Ten Hag managed to build the right momentum so that Manchester United was able to rise from adversity.
The tactics used by Ten Hag were able to make Liverpool suffer, 2 draws and 1 loss was not a good achievement for Liverpool. Klopp must change the attitude of players to perform better in the next match, Liverpool must rise from adversity to maintain hope of competing in the top position.

Liverpool was just unlucky in this match, because in 90 minutes, Liverpool dominated the game and the statistics were good.

Aside from the ball possession, everything was pretty even or close to even although Liverpool was slightly better but possession means nothing because Manchester United was closing almost all those gap therefore Liverpool cant get the ball through. The fact was that it was a 2-0 before Salah scored and it was a great game from Manchester United

Sancho's performance last night was incredible, I was shocked at how he played. I wonder what pep talk Erik Ten Hag had with the players that motivated the team to play so well. I expect Ronaldo to understand this decisions and know how this works so I don't believe he will be offended. It was a brave decision by Ten Hag which turned out very successful one. Manchester United's attack was sharp and they got two goals.

Although he appeared less than optimal in the second match, today Martinez really showed his quality, Martinez good performance was able to help the Manchester defense to be better than when Maguire played, I think Ten Hag needs to take an attitude and also evaluate not to  play Maguire anymore for the next matches, I don't think there's any point in keeping Maguire in the squad just because he's a captain at the moment.

If Manchester United's previous bad form stemmed from Maguire's poor form then I think it's safe for Ten Hag to rest him this season and give him the opportunity to train harder. But I don't want to blame one player for the poor performance of Manchester United because actually many other players deserve to be blamed for not playing as expected.

Ten Hag also rested Ronaldo against Liverpool, I don't know why. But Ronaldo, who arrived for few minutes before the match ended, couldn't do much more so the final score remained 2-1 for Manchester United's victory.

Was so shocked by How Manchester United lift there performance to higher standard against Liverpool, I think the players want to prove a point or let me say the ten hag effects has starting showing, Manchester United have a very good squad so the should be ashame of there selves for previous poor performance, Jordan Sancho is an amazing talent to watch, rashford seems back and the Swedish kid elenga have this desires to succeed at Manchester United even without Ronaldo they still have strong attacking force.

I wasn't surprised Manchester United won the game against Liverpool because United seem to always play better against big teams, I found this to be true last season and the previous seasons. Even when they are in bad form they play better when they are paired against big sides so it wasn't something new to me because I expected a draw. Liverpool are also not doing well and so it was to be a 50:50 game for any team to win.

I agree Arsenal is a worthy opponent to prove the performance Manchester United, as well as Arsenal because they also need to test their consistency and performance against good teams.

For the 4th week match, Manchester United will away to Southamton headquarters. I want Varane, Martinez partnered again at centre-back, while Malacia and Dalot are back at full-back. For that weekend's match, Ten Hag should really be able to motivate his team to play as well as against Liverpool. Honestly, I was happy with their performance yesterday.

what we see is that Man United players are starting to be motivated to improve.

Their performance yesterday was better than their previous matches they have been playing, they didn't really play to my satisfaction but I think their is improvement, but I can't really say they are starting to be motivated because they managed to win yesterday's match, let's see what will happen in their next match and that will show if they are improving or not.

Well at least Manchester United got their first win this win can help boost their morale for the next match

Manchester United victory against Liverpool was a big and essential test for Erik Ten Hag who have actually proven to be the right coach. United needs at the moment. Although the winning doesn't mean they have come back to winning ways, but their crucial improvements in their playing pattern have make the red devils win the game. I liked it as Erik Ten Hag kept Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench, Shaw and Maguire and use Malacia and Lisandro Martinez, these two players were able to hold down Liverpool Frontline, for the whole playing time. Moreover let's watch and hope for more intending good results from Manchester United.

There was improvement compared to their first two matches. No one believed they will have a draw but the ended the game in a win. From their result the should have little motivation,  although the struggled to win but the were able to hold on to their lead.  i believe Ten Hag is gradually seeing a workable formation. Exempting Harry Maguire is his wisest decision since he joined old trafford. lets hope the motivation they have built find them a place in the top 5

You are right. There is a significant improvement in Man United performance yesterday. Winning against a strong team like Liverpool isn't an easy thing, Man United performed beyond people's expectations. I believe most people think they will get another defeat, but they win the match. Sure, this gives motivation for the whole Man United squad, they still have a hope to come back to their best shape. I agree that the reason why Man United became stronger is sending Maguire to the bench. It should be done until the end of the season to make Man United keeps a good performance.

Their duet needs to be tested in various matches, if they are good and consistent to be able to play as well as yesterday then it is worth it for both of them to get a lot of chances. In that match Ten Hag was brave enough to take the risk not to play Ronaldo, but in fact other players played with high spirits so Liverpool were really frustrated throughout the match. It was a fine display in a big match where Liverpool, who have dominated so far, looked to be under high pressure.

City's offensive players are doing their job so well that their defensive weaknesses do not stand out, but in this match, it was clear that they had an extreme defensive problem. These defensive weaknesses were a detail that caught my eye for a long time. City is lacking in defending as a team. The defensive line is very weak against opponents who come out fast. They don't run back properly. I don't think this team is likely to win the Champions League without this defensive line correcting itself or new reinforcements.

For the Newcastle Utd - Manchester City game, both teams played really well. Especially in the first half, Newcastle showed how to play against City. I think the best of the game for Newcastle was Saint-Maximin. But City is a really great team. They reacted very well to the goals they conceded.

Manchester City's poor defending was exposed in the game against Newcastle United. Every time Newcastle United went forward they created alot of problems for city's defense. Newcastle should have gotten more goals if they converted the opportunities they had, they would have gotten more goals against City and wouldn't have been so easy to come back into the game and get a draw.

For now Arsenal really played very well teamwork in every match runs according to strategy this is one of their strengths to succeed in the standings
But Arsenal must remain careful because their competitors may not find the best performance and I'm sure in the following weeks the situation can be different
Arsenal must not be satisfied with this achievement the competition still leaves many matches.
