After they surprised them by winning the game against Liverpool, a lot of praise was given to them, especially in defense as Varane and Martinez did their job to keep out Liverpool's attacks. Moments like this often happen in the Premier League so it's not a new surprise.

To be frank, they play like what every other team ought to have played, despite when Liverpool was giving them hell attacks, they slip through. If they could survive such heat from one of the best in the English league, they can survive the rest of the minor teams on the table.
If what Erik said is true and his strategy actually worked after the match against Liverpool, I don't mind him benching Ronaldo for more matches and then use him for smaller matches to gain more points, this will quickly boost their position on the table without conceding any defeats.

Manchester United won Liverpool,and it looked as if they had a tactic forgetting that their was no tactics their,it was pure luck that was on their side.In the second half of the game, Liverpool dominated in all aspects of the game that they almost scored a goal,but because they are not really good this season,they had to loose again.Lets wait to see from now whether Manchester United have just kick started their winning run,but I still think they still have errors and problems,and untill they sought it out,they won't be able to win games.

I would say Ten Hag liberated his players from the shadow of underperformance and the shame of their 4-0 humiliation at Brentford last time out to somehow re-energise them. This what they started on friendly match before when beat Liverpool 4-0 that playing without those players i was watching Manchester United can comfortable playing the ball and enjoyed the game and regarding Casemiro effect the rumours said if he really arrived to Manchester United then Ronaldo will decided to stayed because he has good relationship with Casemiro while in Madrid so he glad this player be a part of this team but some players such as Fred or McTominay probably with be on the bench because possibly Casemiro will taking over their position

Don't forget Tyrell Malacia always keep Salah in the left corner, this make Salah not comfortable and have a space to shots. I think Malacia deserve to be in starter line to replace Shaw, he's not good in the left back position. The other back position also good since they're do many tackles and blocked many shots from Liverpool, very good performance without Maguire lol. If Casemiro will replace Bruno and Ronaldo play as the center forward, Manchester United might have better result.

Liverpool dominated this match, they had 70% of the ball possession. Still trailed 2-0 until 80 minutes. Liverpool also attacked more than Manchester United. This clearly shows that Liverpool's attack is very weak. We are not getting the good gameplay expected from Liverpool's attack. If Nunez was with the squad, maybe Liverpool's attack would have been stronger.

 Liverpool is now 5 points behind Manchester City. Every point is very important in Premier League. If he can't get back on track in the next match, it will be more difficult for Liverpool to win the title.

Varane and Martunez had a big impact on the game, proving that they are better than the players they were previously using, because they showed interest and zeal for the team and fought for the three points, unlike Maguire and Show. Was this a coincidence or part of a tactic that Ten Hag planned.
As we can see, last season Ronaldo was the club's top scorer, but at the start of this season, Ronaldo magic was nowhere to be seen. In the first game Ronaldo started the game from the bench, he came on for Fred in the 53rd minute, while on the field Ronaldo can not do anything. In the second match when they were defeated by Brentford, Ronaldo was assigned as a striker who could make the difference to Manchester United's game, but the result was nothing, Manchester United had to accept a humiliating defeat.
When facing Liverpool, Ten Hag believed more in Marcus Rashford ability to fill the spearhead. Ronaldo had to settle for sitting on the bench because in the previous two games he had failed to score, and as a result Manchester United could pack their first win over Liverpool.

I highlight the duo between Varane and Martinez in defense which is indeed the key to Manchester United's victory in my opinion. As we can see, how solid their defense is, it seems that this will be a new duet in the Ten Hag era. With his promising performances I don't think Maguire will be the first choice now. But we'll see, whether the Ten Hag will maintain their duet or even trust Harry Maguire to guard the defensive area. If that's the case, it's probably true that he is a deposit player who should always be featured.

It is undeniable that Martinez contribution has indeed provided such a tight defense. He is a specialist in blocking attacks from all directions, that's the skill Manchester United needs. If Maguire existed I'm not sure the defense would be this tight. Besides that, I don't see Bruno showing his selfishness the way he does on the pitch. But here he is a leader and can control his friends very well. If this kind of formation continues to be improved, it is possible that we will see positive things.

For today's appreciation, it may be appropriate that Manchester United is trying to get out of the pressure zone. Don't be too happy just yet because in front of a big storm awaits. What we are looking forward to is Casemiro jersey number which will certainly add strength to the midfield.

There are some memes on social media that I saw that said they were disguised as Vidic and Ferdinand in this match, Even though this is quite entertaining but in my mind it can actually be a motivation because if you look at their first 2 matches with Martinez and Maguire clearly not goes well.
I think Ten Hag should know what to do, because there's no need to force Maguire to be in the line-up if he's not ready.

It was a very interesting night. Most of us must have waited for Liverpool to win against Manchester United again.

Not for me anyway, i was pretty sure Manchester United weren't going to lose this game tonight, not because they were in a good shape or form, of course they weren't, they came into this game on the back of two straight losses, but that exactly is the reason why i knew they would put up a performance today, and they did, i didn't know it would be this good, neither was i sure they would win, but my prediction for this game all week long was either Manchester United wins, or they draw, losing was out of it for me.

Having said that, Liverpool were pretty bad for many parts of that game, they have quite a lot of injury concerns but that isn't an excuse, they have just 2 points from a possible 9, and that is the worst start Jurgen Klopp or any Liverpool fan could have dreamt of, they will bounce back, surely they will, but there is a tendency that before they do, City might have been miles ahead of them.

The premiership league this season is full of potential this season. Although we know after about 5 league games per team, everyone would know their place. Players' legs are still warming up. Like they always  say if you keep on doing things in the same way you will always have the same result. Manchester United have been doing things the same way that is why have always come out with the same result,  but in the last match against Liverpool thing were done differently and it eventually came out with a different result that was much better. I believe from now on Manchester United will be playing in their best performance, the victory over Liverpool will ginger them to strive for the best.

It seems that Arsenal are close to agreeing a transfer for Youri Tielemans. The only thing remaining is for the clubs to agree on the price - Arsenal is offering 25 mil. pounds whereas Leicester wants 30.

This transfer makes a lot of sense to me, Tielemans is a player I like and I feel he'd be a perfect fit for a team like Arsenal. They need some creativity and goal threat from their central midfielders and he would bring both things.
