The problem with Manchester United in the past was the management of the club, most of the players were not happy with the coach and the management so the player lost their motivation and which affected their performance in the last season.

But with the recent few changes in the club things are beginning to have a new look and with their performance against Liverpool on Monday it points to one fact Manchester United is ready to reclaim their past glory but a lot needs to be done in that direction.

It's too early to draw conclusions from one match, but there are positive moments, the players are giving their best on the field, which means that ten Hag managed to find an approach to the players. This is news to me because I thought the deal was close to being finalized. It is true that Arsenal needs him. I believe they have already placed a £38 Million offer for him if I am not wrong and that is the amount which has been asked for Thielemans. He can provide more stability to the team. Arsenal is trying to make a young team and I believe he’s going to be a good inclusion in the team. If he is in the Arsenal team, the supply from the midfield is going to be really great for Arsenal.

Manchester United won against Liverpool, but I don't think they have returned to form. Manchester United won because some of Liverpool's key players were missing in the match, while United's defenders performed well.
Winning the next match against Southampton will not be easy. Southampton has won their last two matches, a 2-2 draw with Leeds United and a 2-1 win against Leicester City. So against United, Southampton's players will want to earn full points.

I noticed Manchester united fans are happy because of the win against Liverpool, most of them are saying they are back to form and any team that comes their way now they are going to win, i know Manchester united will want to win the match against Southampton but am thinking Manchester united might be underestimating Southampton which will really affect them. I just hope Manchester united continue with their performance and they won't flop against Southampton.

We know that Manchester United's performance against tougher opponents is sometimes better, but when it comes to opponents who are below them they are even worse.
Manchester United's victory was very good against Liverpool but this still can't be said to lift when they can't do good again in the next match.

Honestly if Man Utd can replicate their brilliant performance against Liverpool in their subsequent matches then maybe the expected turn around of the club is imminent, of course credit should be given to them for that win against their arch rival after many soccer analysts had predicted that they will lose that match, they played with zeal and determination, I think they will continue to improve on a positive note and consolidate on that win in their next match and the arrival of Casimero probably a more improve side.

People shouldn't really expect the worlds from United just because they won this game. I am not saying that we shouldn't really be doing this, all I am saying is that United may not be good because of that first two games as well. We have seen them be terrible for 2 games and be good for one game and suddenly just because they had a good game, everyone started to think they will make a comeback, recover, and be a great team. I do not expect that at all, they will surely have many more bad games, do not think that they will be bottom half, they will be top 10, but not top 4-5, thats not going to happen.

The problem is that their performance is sometimes erratic which makes it still difficult to predict for them.
Maybe they can still give the same performance next week when their defense is still Martinez and Varane but when Ten Hag replaces again with Maguire I think it will be difficult.
On the bright side it is likely Casemiro debuts in next week's.

After having two defeats in start of the season surely a big setback for them and now suddenly with this win against Liverpool and arrival of Casemiro is having positive impact on them because now they are feeling with these positive developments they can do much better in coming days. I am viewing a club friendly match between Barcelona and Manchester City. I am yet to understand the essence of the friendly when the season has already began and there are risks of players getting injured in the match. I don't know the reason for the friendly. I was thinking maybe they want to test their second eleven but people in the line up are still familiar people like Fati, Busquest, De Jong etc.

Casimero coming to Manchester United is a big positive note to the club. If Maguire is out of Manchester United then it's even better. Maguire has been a poor captain for Manchester United for quite a time without anyone to take up the mandate. Maybe De Gea or Ronaldo could take up Manchester United's captain role. I know Ronaldo has a very rocky relationship with his teammate but you can't deny him. He was a great leader since he led Portugal to win the Euro 2020 cup.

I have been saying it that Manchester United after Erik arrived just improved. What happened to Manchester United in the first two matches could happen to any club also. My doubts is how fast will Casimero adapt in Manchester United team. Though his team mates like Ronaldo and Varane are there to help him.
