What an interesting first half, I must admit that I expected Chelsea to overshadow Fulham but Fulham proved so much in the first half. They gave Chelsea a hard time, the new signings for Chelsea were impressive in the fist half, Enzo Fernandez's work rate is massive, Badashile is strong in defense, Murdryk have been a bit quiet though because Fulham's defense is so strong. I'm expecting a more competitive second half game.

Sorry man but your expectations are a bit wild looking at the facts that fulham also are not an eazy side to play, if you can remember they actually won Chelsea in their first leg fixture, so i expected a really tough game for Chelsea and truly its has been a really tough game. Due to the massive signings,  many bettors would expect Chelsea to win with ease but these new players still need time to blend and play very together as a team. This is the first game for these new signings so i expect they will still have some flaws but with time they can blend very well.

This game is the most looked out for this weekend as both clubs have played tithly to see that they press home their demand of making first goal scorer in this match and it looks like there will be a possible draw in this match.

Because they have only one goal attempt in this time period which is pretty bad. They have the biggest percentage of ball possession but they can't turn this into effective goal attempts yet. The first half is quite likely to end in a draw as long as there is no action. Hopefully something starts to change in the second half. They have Mudryk in the lineup now and they must be relying on his skills quite much also. But with this team effort it is difficult to wait form him to make difference.

I'm having trouble understanding teams that don't have a finishing striker. I think the 4-6-0 system is one of the biggest damages to world football. In Chelsea's heyday, the forwards of this team were Drogba and Shevchenko. Both were target strikers. There is no one in the Chelsea team who can do this task today. I think it seems like modern football has fallen into a mess.

Also, Mudrik is not playing in the second half, Madueke is playing and he is performing better.

I don't know what's wrong with Mitrovic in Fulham, if he's tired, they should replace him and put someone who is ready to play. Madueke starting the second half has actually turned the tables for Chelsea. The boy is actually good, and the new signing Enzo, I don't see anything that the dude is playing and now is looking as if Chelsea is playing under frustration which is very bad for the game.

Chelsea may have a more dominant position, but they are still not able to do high pressure and attacks to Fulham. Moreover, Chelsea also does not have a good chance to shoot on target, some are missing their chance and throw the chance to at least be closer tot eh goalkeeping.

Chelsea had a strong start, but at some point fulham took the initiative. As t. Silva attempted to score for Chelsea, the game became more interesting. Ziyech is a good player when it comes to playing corners, but one annoying aspect of Chelsea is that they are constantly selling and buying players. This may have led to a draw. Yes, absolutely! For both sides, but particularly Fulham, the stakes are huge. If they win, they will move up in the rankings significantly, and it will be a tremendous victory for Scott Parker and his team. But, with Aubameyang out, it may be a difficult one for them. Chelsea, on the other hand, has the benefit of playing at home and is out for vengeance. It's going to be an entertaining contest, no doubt about it. I'm hoping for Chelsea as well; it would be fantastic to see them win and reclaim first place in the Premier League rankings.

Effects of rushing to sign players just because a rival is trying to sign them  

They kept on chasing Arsenal targets, forgetting that there were departments that were far more wanting for them. Chelsea is pretty fucked up at the moment. No amount of signing will save them from the drop this season.

I'm sure a lot of people probably won't doubt Chelsea against Fulham. Chelsea deserved to get the win for this match after they spent quite a lot of money in the transfer market. I don't doubt Chelsea more than they did before and now they have to be the favorites to win the game.

And apparently, Enzo Fernandez will get his debut against Fulham after he agreed to join Chelsea. Certainly Chelsea have been getting stronger given their current squad depth, but it's always a surprise when they make mistakes due to poor communication between players. Enzo and the other new players will need to adapt, but they have done well in their previous teams and hopefully won't have too much trouble adjusting to Potter's wishes.

Ideally, Chelsea must win against Fulham, they have a better squad and they play at home. It will be shameful if Chelsea gets a draw or a loss, people will assume Chelsea just waste money without getting any improvement in their performance. By having Enzo Fernandez and Mykhaylo Mudryk, Chelsea should be stronger and more effective in playing. However, no guarantee of an instant improvement, the coach has a big role. At the end of the day, Chelsea performance will depend on the strategy and lineup made by the coach.

Anyway, the first match won't be easy for new players. I hope Enzo Fernandez and Mykhaylo Mudryk won't get the same problem as João Félix. Chelsea needs an important win, new players are expected to give their best performance.

Now I get no excuses for the lack of quality in the cast, but it was downright Potter's inability to concoct strategies for his players so naturally they seemed to have no sense of direction.

It is still possible for him to get a few games ahead before his future is decided, but if Graham Potter fails then I think Chelsea will have to find a new coach instead of adding to their stock of expensive players again.

I was very sure Chelsea was not going to defeat Fulham just like that and if you follow up the play line you will see the players Ball accuracy is almos at the same percentage and it will take a miracle to see any of the two clubs beating the other easily in this match and i can say congratulation to those who chose draw in their bets as the odds was good enough.
But I did not look in that direction and I have to accept the fact that I lost my bet tonight since this match will end in a possible draw but let's see how the 90+ will be for both clubs.

You are right. People think Chelsea will win this match easily and they will perform better. In reality, I see no significant difference in Chelsea performance. So, it is not about the players' quality or squad quality, it is about how Potter's tactic/strategy. In this match, we can see Potter failed to provide an effective strategy/tactic. Even worse, in the first half, Chelsea can't make a single shot on target. They only can make 2 shots on target when Potter changes Mudryk and Ziyech. I feel something wrong with Chelsea tactic in the first half.

Yes, they no need to buy more expensive players. Just change the coach if no significant improvement in the next few matches.

Why is it that that every Chelsea failure to satisfy fans' expectations is always blamed on the coach and this system has led to Chelsea's multiple changes of coaches which have further impeded on their performance and if the coach is the problem with the club then there should get a better coach that can configure the players into the perfect position and playing timing no doubt that the success of the clubs depends largely in coach technical expertise but then players motivation and integration is also an important aspect to look on to?

Lets not be too quick to cancel graham Potter already, this is just the first game this new players are playing together. Chemistry doesn't just start in one game, it takes few games for that to kick in and from what I watched today, it won't take long before the chemistry between this players begin to manifest. I still think though that Graham Potter needs to do some selection right, why didn't he play Aubameyang in this match or why isn't he in the substitute bench or other strikers in the club, why aren't they available.

I understand that he has been dropped from the champions league squad but allow the guys to play some premier league football before we offload him in the summer. You can't have a striker in the squad and be playing a false nine that isn't even delivering you goals. This are the types of mistakes Thomas Tuchel started making at Chelsea at the end of his career, Graham Potter should have learnt from this. Stop playing players out of their position, it makes no sense.
