In a week where Arsenal were defeated, I predicted that Manchester City would definitely win, but again, I was wrong. Manchester City have backfired on the perfect opportunity that came their way. I really watched the game with amazement.

By the way, Harry Kane became the top scorer in Tottenham history with 267 goals. There are always many transfer rumors about him. If he doesn't leave the club he became a legend for a few trophies, he will be a legend for me too.

This week doesn't seem to be for the team sitting at the top of the standings, only Manchester United can secure three points very well. Now Manchester City and United have a difference of three points, and City is still quite far from Arsenal because they have a postponed match. Kane is already a Legend for Tottenham and his fans, being the top goalscorer in history has proven he is the best for Tottenham, I hope he will stay at this club.

When I thought that Manchester City will capitalise on the short coming of Arsenal to cover the gap between them and Arsenal but they failed. I already predicted that Manchester City will win Arsenal but when Real Madrid lost earlier today, I began to have the feelings that Manchester City may lose.
I don't know why Guardiola left Kelvin De on bench and played Rodiri and Silva in the midfield. This made Manchester City had difficulty in completing passes.

It is difficult to understand Manchester City this season. They seem like they don't care about the league as much as last season. They have a stronger squad with Haaland but they are having bigger issues in general.

This was a big chance for them to catch up with Arsenal more but they just turned down this chance easily. They were really bad at defending Tottenham players. Especially Rodri's mistake cost them too much. They still had chances to answer Tottenham's goals. But they wasted all of them. The shot hitting the goal post was indeed the biggest chance for them. This time Manchester City couldn't turn the game around like they did in Etihad. They should have stayed more solid and focused on scoring first.

This week is just great for Manchester United as it seems. They are closer to the front row now.

I already predicted that Manchester City will win Arsenal but when Real Madrid lost earlier today, I began to have the feelings that Manchester City may lose.

I never thought that Man city will be defeated by Tottenham, the club is not taking the league serious. Arsenal lost yesterday,and today's match would have been the match that Man city can use to cover the gap between them and Arsenal,so that when the clubs meet,the winner of the game will top the league. They played very well but couldn't equalise the goal. I guess that we underestimated Tottenham who turned out to be the winner. Football is full of surprises, all the big team lost their match this weekend but only Manchester united won theirs to have their three point. Kane is a good striker and he took advantage of his opportunity by converting the pass into a goal.

The results of the two games were unexpected, particularly Arsenal's loss; I never anticipated Arsenal to drop points so quickly. However, Everton's new manager did well in his first Premier League game in charge of Everton following the firing of Frank Lampard, while Manchester City lost their chance to catch up to Arsenal by closing the points differential by losing to Tottenham.

Arsenal's hopes are still alive because they can now see no difference because their direct title contenders also lost, and Manchester United is on the rise. This Premier League title is becoming more intriguing as the transfer window signings have begun to have an impact on some teams.

If Haaland don't score a goal, Manchester City don't win... something like that. Guardiola could have changed more players, but unfortunately he didn't. Sergio Gomez, Palmer, Perrone and Phillips just watched. Kane is scoring again in the Premier League, it's a shame he didn't do that during the WorldCup. And Haaland didn't shot onetime on the goal in the whole game. Today this were important points, that City didn't get.

It is obvious that the Manchester City camp isn't entirely happy at the moment. We could notice that there was very little interaction between the players—no cheers or encouraging pats. We could even see from Haaland's body language that he wasn't having a good day. Despite this, they are still strong contenders, and it will be easy to go head-to-head against them. And then, congratulations to Kane for setting a new record.

Newcastle getting a draw with west ham was a shocker to me, they were the team at third place solidly for so long and United came from nowhere and took it, that was a shocking result too.

Everyone is talking about how Everton won and yes that was the big result this week and that was a bad one, but that doesn't change the fact that we are talking about Newcastle getting a draw is a big shocker too. Some weeks are like this, you do not really know who will do how. In any case, Arsenal didn't lose their positions for losing this game, but Newcastle did, and that is why I believe that it's a much bigger situation and a lot better result in the long run.

Why do you think Man City doesn't care about the EPL league?
They care about EPL, but they are not lucky enough. They have a chance to shorten the point gap with Arsenal, unfortunately they must play at Tottenham home. It is always difficult to win at the opponent's home, especially at a big team home. Tottenham is a big team, they also have a big motivation to maintain their position in the top 5. Personally, I am not surprised if Man City is defeated by Tottenham. I was only surprised to see Arsenal got a lose against Everton. It was the match that Arsenal must win, they have no reason to be defeated.

Man City has strong attackers, but their defense looks not strong enough. It is actually the problem of Man City this season. They can dominate the match and create many opportunities, sadly the opponent can steal a goal when they are too focused on attacking. Man City's defense can't keep up with the offensive game of its front players.

I didn't expect Manchester City to lose the match against Tottenham. But Tottenham are really motivated to get their revenge in this match by playing well and being very strong in defence. Manchester City found it difficult to penetrate the tight Tottenham defense, but they had several good chances even though there were no goals.

Tottenham team always give man city a hard time i didn't expect them to beat man city but it was a deserved win they managed to score early and they hold on to the score almost all game long, it seems that arsenal team were lucky that man city lost and now everything will be decided when they face each other.

After losing 1:0 to Everton yesterday, Arsenal has maintained their lead in the English premiership table, the result wasn't a good one for arsenal because at this time every point you get as a team in a match matters so I will say that Arsenal was devastated after yesterday  loss to the host team, but the worst of it all is the Manchester city side that failed to utilize that opportunity that was given to them by Arsenal to close the gap to me I will say that despite that arsenal is toping the league table with 5points the league table remains open because there are many fight ahead, the unexpected might happen.

Pep was very furious today as to how the game went. It was way out of his expectation and he reacted on the touchline following fouls on his team and delays from Tottenham players that was fouled. He knew this onoe was out of his control and his plans of bringing KDB as a second half substitute didn't work.
Just a goal difference from the first half. It's another chance that jas slipped past Pep on closing in with Arsenal and he feels it. Statistics had it that, E. Haaland had zero touches with the ball within the Tottenham 18yard box. Yeah, he gets the goals but, his still a minus one when not getting this touches and creating these chances within the box.

The match outcome was based on luck on the side of Tottenham because the goal came in a few minutes into the match, and till the even of the game, Manchester City could not equalize the 1-goal difference, this is the luckiest game for Tottenham this season.

It was very strange, I thought they would at least take the game to a draw, but no... They totally dominated the match in terms of ball possession, it was as if they were the only ones who had it, but... Everton's attacks were sharper than Arsenal's, plus numerous errors which prevented them from scoring and here is the result. In general we can say that all is not lost, Arsenal have a game in hand, plus having stumbled once it does not mean that the rest will be the same...

Everton are still trying hard to get out of the relegation zone, I think if the upcoming match everton can win that game then they can get out of the relegation zone but their next opponent will be liverpool.

I would have never expected Manchester City to be that weak at defending. This was what Tottenham wanted from this game. Kane scored thanks to one of the weaknesses in their defense for example.

Manchester City still could have relied on their attacking performance but there wasn't too much in that as well. I mean the number of absolute goal chances wasn't too high. They missed a big opportunity to close up the gap with Arsenal a little more. I still think Arsenal are the most deserving team when it comes to the league title. Because Manchester City can't make use of the chances.

It is not the first time that Man City is defeated by Tottenham. So, I don't think it is very surprising. Everyone must remember that Tottenham always makes Man City difficult to get points.  

We know that Man City really wants to win this match to overtake Arsenal. But they failed to get points in this important match, so no change in the point gap. I think Man City is too obsessed to get 3 points and loses focus on the match. So, they only made many shot attempts but they have no accuracy in scoring. It is a big lesson, Man City must stay focused on the match.

When Arsenal lost against Everton I had the feeling Man City won't be able to capitalize on that and win Spurs but I just wrote the feeling off. I've always said it that it's going to be a strong battle for Arsenal if they are to win the league. We are at the point in the league where they can't afford to drop anymore point, unless Man City starts dropping point which might not happen.
People think Arsenal's loss to Everton is the beginning of their doom but I highly doubt that. Nobody was expecting them to win every game, they'll definitely drop point and they have. It's also highly unlikely that they'll not drop points again till the end of the season but let's see how it goes.
