I think the most realistic target for Liverpool in the next 3 matches is to maintain the consistency of their wins and stay in the Europa League zone next season while hoping that Manchester United will slip. Manchester United are still 4 points gap and they have some tough match in the rest of the season, of course that is against Chelsea and Fulham who are both in the middle of the table this season.

There may be a chance for Liverpool to qualify for the Champions League, but I think Ten Hag will make Manchester United perform well and stay in the Champions League zone. I can expect Manchester United to lose the next 1/3 of their matches, but they will qualify for the Champions League instead of Liverpool.

Manchester United and Newcastle have both collected 66 points from 35 matches, there is still one game left that has not been played by these two teams, so that one game advantage can maintain third and fourth positions in the standings. Manchester United and Newcastle still have to face Chelsea and I don't think this is a difficult match for both of them, because so far Chelsea is also experiencing a crisis of confidence and it is very difficult to win matches.

Liverpool have two matches remaining and the toughest one is against Aston Villa, so this also has the potential to prevent Liverpool from getting full points. Arteta had good days with Arsenal this season and they started the season very well but I think the reason for them to lose first place in the league was mostly because of the amazing results manchester city got during this season and they lose some points to give manchester city the chance to take their place in the league otherwise, everything was going well for Arsenal in this season to win the trophy at the end of the season.

I forget how many months Arsenal have been at the top. Many pictures on social media Arsenal only keep the EPL trophy for Man City. Some days I didn't focus on the EPL and I was surprised Arsenal lost at the Emirates. Three goals make Arsenal's dream difficult, even with many media writing that Odegaard is desperate for the EPL title this season. Man City only enough to win once. As for Brighton they are outstanding, I don't predict they could be in the top ten.

To be sure, the fall of Arasenal at the Emirates Stadium was a big blow for the supporters, including me. even so, this defeat should have been an important lesson for Arteta. yes, as I often said before, Arteta often makes a lot of wrong decisions. plus, it seems he doesn't have a plan B if his team is in a phase like the one against Brighton. he didn't make many strategic changes, in situations where his team needed other tactics and plans. Newcastle have truly gone above and have certainly outperformed themselves this season. Their determination to make it into the top four by anyhow and I wouldn't be surprised if they end up playing in the UCL next season. They have a great opportunity to continue their upward position if any of the current top teams experience a dip in performance.

There is no doubt about Newcastle's performance this season, they have even shifted several competitive teams such as Liverpool and Spurs. But actually the results they achieved in the last 5 matches were also not smooth sailing with only 3 wins and in the next match Newcastle will host the team that just beat Arsenal last week, namely Brighton.

I am a bit pessimistic when I see that the last 2 matches played by Newcastle have only drawn and lost, especially Brighton so far cannot be underestimated, Roberto De Zerbi's troops often surprise the home team. This is a decisive game for Newcastle and if Newcastle manage to beat Brighton it is certain they will lock in a place for the champions league next season.

Liverpool made seven consecutive wins and that is a great achievement,the pressure will be all on Manchester United now as Liverpool does not seem to stop anytime soon.I only regret betting on over 3.5 goals and Liverpool to win plus both teams to score as my bets which I lost all of them as I never expected Leicester not being able to score a goal while lately they have always scored goals in their recent encounters,all or almost all of them and Liverpool defense is not well known for not conceding any goals despite lately finishing some games on clean sheets.Anyway I am happy for Liverpool and I hope they continue with such performances.

Yeah, Liverpool is surely doing amazing stuff but for me, they are late for the top four because now they have just 2 matches left first against Aston Villa at home which could be not easy game and then last match of this season against Southampton on road mean if they have 6 points then tally could be 71 for Manchester United have three matches first against Bournemouth which most chances they will win and then hosting Chelsea and Fulham for the last two matches mean if they lost one and win two then still they could be ended with 72 and Newcastle United having three matches first against Brighton which is surely tricky specially after Brighton win against Arsenal then against Leicester City and last one against Chelsea.

With this all situation is not good for the Liverpool because they already lost their chances and now have to stay at fifth for the next season which is surely not good but accept this and enjoy because things are out of their hands.

I agree with what you say because indeed if you look at the conditions when talking about the top 4 it is very late because even with their excellent performance in the last few matches but indeed they are late enough to expect the top 4 position there.
Now they are likely to only be in the Europa League as good as any of their performance because in this case it is quite difficult for them if they want to penetrate a higher position during Manchester United and Newcastle playing well.
At present their condition still has 1 point from Manchester United and 2 points from Newcastle still on the other side there is still one other advantage from them to be able to stay away from Liverpool.

It's been an amazing season for Newcastle, of course but they have a tough task before the end of the season. Maintaining the consistency of performance and winning all the remaining matches is a tough task, this is evident from the last 2 matches they failed to win.

I respect to Newcastle especially this season, but they still have to fight until the last game to qualify for the Champions League. Liverpool are still a threat to Newcastle's chances especially as Eddie Howe's side will have had tough match some late season match. I mean Brighton, Leicester and Chelsea are worth opponents, so don't be underestimated.

Disappointing way to finish the season, Arsenal gave everything from the start of the season and were one of the favorites to win the league this season, too bad they are finishing the season without any trophy. Arteta made a huge mistake letting the team drop out of the Europa league competition to focus on the premier league, probably they could still be playing in the Europa league and try featuring in the finals.

Mikel Arteta is a talented coach and actually he has done his best for Arsenal. Totally agree with you. Arsenal have had an outstanding season and they can't be blamed - it's all the corruption of UEFA officials who allow fraudulent clubs like City to exist. If you take away the oil, there will be nothing left of City's success - if it wasn't, they wouldn't be cheating with their finances to break the fair play and pour billions of oil money into the club.

This is the closest that Arsenal has come to winning the English Premier League title since the last time they win it in 2004 and sadly they failed to win it.
Arsenal actually did a great job and put out a great contentious fight but when you're competing against a club like Manchester City, you gotta be on your toes till the prize is finally won and that's what Arsenal failed to do. Manchester needs just one win from their remaining league fixtures to retain the title and just like Pep Guardiola was assuring the fans if the club after their win today, they'll be champions of England once again.

In round robin tournaments, the victory of moneybags is almost always inevitable - this is simple mathematics, the one who has more resources wins and the dispersion of results over a long distance is minimal. If not for cup games where weaker clubs always have a chance, it seems to me that football cheaters like City, PSG or just tops (like Bayern for example) would have completely killed interest in football in their countries.
As for Guardiola, he is a clown, I remember how he assured (I think to some journalist during an interview) that he had not heard anything about financial fraud in the City and at the club "everything is fair"

Slowly but surely, they're back at the top of the EPL standings, I'm sure no one thought they could recover so soon. In this match they proved to the public that they still deserve to be in the UCL place race. Alisson was not the MOTM in the match, but he contributed a lot to keep a clean sheet.

Who's Curtis Jones? That was my expression when I saw the Liverpool goalscorer against Leicester, I didn't even know he had played for Liverpool . There are still 2 more matches left in the EPL, against Aston Villa and Southampton, I don't think it's difficult for Liverpool to get 2 more wins, now it's just a matter of waiting for the results of the matches belonging to Newcastle United and Manchester United.

Leicester's drop in form this season has been too significant and with their condition and for their remaining 2 games against Newcastle and West ham I honestly doubt they can get out of the relegation zone this season and will be back in the Championship next season.

Even if the odds against Westham are still there but I seriously doubt they will get any points against Newcastle at St. James Park next week.

To me,  Leicester City already played their whole game which could possibly have earned them points in this season,  and their two remaining marches are going to become a bonus for the competitors,  since from their last match before Leicester City faced Liverpool tonight they have already lost their motivation and in the future games, the same faith that befalls them against Liverpool may repeat itself in the two matches ahead.

Newcastle of Westham are both more motivated and in form compared to Leicester at this moment and stage in the EPL.

That's right, at least we will see two to three new teams for next season's champions league and it looks like this time we will see Manchester City which will be accompanied by Arsenal, Newcastle, and the last one can be Manchester United or if Liverpool manages to maintain its winning streak then they have a chance back in Europe's top competition.

There will be no more hope for Arteta to win the title this season. Newcastle have a chance to compete in the Champions League, but somehow they have to finish this season because there are still 9 points up for grabs for them.

The match against Brighton was difficult, but I don't think it was as difficult as Arsenal scoring 1 goal in their 0-3 defeat some time ago. The match against Chelsea will also be difficult, but I believe Newcastle must have a good plan in the remaining 3 matches of the season. They have a mission to win all matches, but of course something about the result is not yet certain.
