But I agree that Newcastle will fight hard to secure Champions League tickets this season. Their chances are good to become representatives of the Premier League to the Champions League, so a Newcastle win is definitely much more expected than a Chelsea win unless you are a Liverpool fan.

@bbigtart, That is a calculation that doesn't make any sense at all because in fact, Newcastle only need one win to ensure a successful finish in the top four. Also, are Leicester and Chelsea in this moment any better than Newcastle? I personally really don't think Newcastle will lose when playing against them in the remaining two matches.

I just wonder how this same Brighton thrashed Arsenal in their previous match! Anyway, it's been really impressive to see how Newcastle has improved this season. Eddie Howe is doing a great job as a coach and it looks like the players are responding to his methods. I think the president of Newcastle United should definitely give credit where it's due and recognize Eddie for all of his hard work in this season so far.

I also think the same thing about Brighton who managed to beat Arsenal but when they played against Newcastle their performance was not so aggressive. Even though if you look at Brighton progress, they should be able to secure the match. After this big defeat, Newcastle dominated the game very well, even since winning a goal from Undav when Newcastle improved their line of attack.

I think it is a different situation because when they played Arsenal, they were playing against a team that was having a lot of hard time keeping the top position and they were stressed and the pressure was so much. When they were playing against Newcastle they didn't had anything like that and they didn't had to worry about anything at all.

Newcastle shouldn't lose points neither of course, no team should and that's understandable approach, but at the same time we are talking about a team that is not going to lose it all if they lose. Liverpool would have been a bit of a trouble but nothing major, they could recover. Plus, we all know that sometimes teams play great games and sometimes they have bad days, this was just a bad day for them.

The victory succeeded in making Newcastle's position safe to get a UCL ticket next season, the remaining two matches this season that Newcastle might have been able to sweep cleanly, one of which was against Chelea, but on the one hand we cannot predict Chelsea despite the bad results they have happen to him but sometimes they often give a surprise.

This is the best chance for them as two of the remaining three matches of the season will be on the other side. Celebrating the title at home is Manchester City's main mission tomorrow after securing the Champions League final.

Arsenal had the chance to win the Premier League title this season but they could not sustain their performances towards the end. In contrast to Arsenal's poor performance towards the end, Manchester City performed well. The Premier League title is pretty much assured for Manchester City, and maybe they can celebrate the title with a win against Chelsea. I think Manchester City will do all the celebrations together. Because after a few days the UCL final where their opponent is Inter Milan. If they win two titles in one season, Manchester City will be one of the most successful teams, especially in Europe and in the Premier League.

Yes, that's right, I could be wrong in saying that Newcastle United is not yet final in the UCL. I say that because they have to face Lecesty City where they will fight tooth and nail to stay in the EPL.

In that match, even though Brighton controlled the game more throughout the match, Brighton's players only played more in the midfield. I am not sure if this win of Newcastle over Brighton came as a surprise. They have so far only lost two games at home and tied five games. 11 gams won speaks for itself. Even if Brighton is not to be underestimated, I thought that Newcastle is not going to let the chance go to qualify for the Champions League. Now they are essentially safe in the CL unless some really crazy things happen. This was a big milestone for them now.

I am curious to see what players they are going to sign and whether we will see some big names fine their way to Newcastle. Money isn't a problem obviously.

Newcastle are the favorites to win. and they showed their quality with an attack that was difficult for the Brighton defenders to counter. Well, for me, I think what ever amount of energy Manchester city spent on their game against Real Madrid is already replenished, and I do not see how the coming game between Manchester city and Chelsea will end in a draw, with the state of Manchester city currently, I expect them to win their match easily against Chelsea, we all know that chelsea have not been in a great shape for a while now, and they have lost more games than the ones they have actually won, I expect Chelsea to already consider Manchester city the winner of their coming game.

I will not doubt Newcastle's chances in the remaining two matches of the season, Leicester will not be able to withstand Newcastle's desire to play in the Champions League and I believe Leicester will lose badly. Now, they have, Do you think mathematically Leicester and Chelsea would stop them in this last period of the premier league? That's a fat lie. Just a win from the two remaining matches automatically qualify Newcastle for the champion league.
