I would still say a sign to worry for Guardiola because as to Guardiola standards 2-1 is not enough to win against a side like Sheffield. Yeah 3 points in this round but will they be able to win the next one with much better opponent. It gets doubtful and doubtful with each round. It took only three rounds for City to become the sole leaders of the Premier League. They have 4 more games ahead of them against the underdogs and it looks like we will see a streak of 7 wins. Despite the fact that the opponents will most likely (99.999%) lose points, we have another season in which interest is lost already in the first third (if we are talking about the fight for the title).

Haaland is currently the most important player at City. Even if he missed a penalty today, he didn't give up and then scored his goal. City's competitors just lack consistently good performance. Arsenal had such good chances of winning the title last year and basically only gave it away because of their own mistakes. Absolutely, they control the matches and make a lot of opportunities, just like they always do. Sheffield United should have earned 1 point, but Man City won this match. They had a hard time breaking through Sheffield's defense, but the story would be different against Arsenal. City consistently play like champions and never let us down, that's the champion spirit. This season has been quite interesting. Almost all the top teams are fighting hard for wins or draws, while the weaker teams can't even claim a single point.

2 goals in just four minutes against Man United was very disappointing. however, Man United was able to turn around again and came to the 52nd minute with 2-2 goals in the match and the two teams were on the same score.  Finally on 76" Man United got a penalty short chance and capitalized on it to score another goal to finally win the match 3-2 goals. Man United's standard of play was very good and they had very good performances. They are a really good team in the game of football

Man United have just won a tough 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford. I don't understand why you guys say, 'Man United are playing well.' It would be best if you watched their early season games. They lost 2 goals to Tottenham while being more appreciated, and now, at home, they suddenly let Nottingham lead by 2 goals after only 4 minutes of rolling the ball. Their beginnings were terrible. But it is essential to know how to overcome it. It was not easy and commendable for the whole team.

There isn't really all that much to figure out, what ETH plays is a different type of defensive game that the players of United can't play, their defense is still not good, wasn't good last year and still not good this year. Instead of spending this much money on attacking players, they should have spent it on defensive players.

I would literally get the whole 4 defensive players and changed them, get two new center backs and two wing backs and hope for a better season but they didn't. I would understand that you wouldn't be able to do it in a single season, but at least you would get a few, this season the only "defender" they got is Evans who they got for free, instead they bought Hojlund and Mason Mount. I would say that's a bad transfer window, if they spent that money on defense that would be better.

My forecast was well above 2-1 but I again think that the Premier League is still unpredictable despite Manchester City eventually winning the game without Pep Gaurdiola.
The next round with Fulham is clear to me Sheffield are underperforming Fulham but it's playing at the Etihad that they might play differently.
Of course even though there's no Pep Guardiola and that's a concern but my guess is that Manchester City win again.

As Manchester City aim for the Premier League title. So every match is very important for them. The Premier League is very competitive. And so here every match has to be played seriously. Losing a point in any match could mean losing the top spot in the table. If you want to stay at the top of the table, you must consistently perform well and earn points.

Against Sheffield United I thought City would win easily today. But Sheffield's defender had a great performance today. Manchester City played very well but they scored the first goal in the 63rd minute. Haaland could not score from the penalty opportunity. The penalty chance was a plus point for them which helped them a lot to win the match. I was really shocked to see Nottingham Forest score 2 goals in just five minutes at the start of the game. And I started to think that Man United will lose the match badly today.  But they surprised me at the end of the game. Man United and Man City are now bidding on equal points in the points table

Manchester United hard a narrow escape in the yesterday's game against Nottingham Forest with just a goal difference this is a big sign Manchester United will be facing a tough season in this round of the premier league since their early games already pointed out a lot of weak point in the club formation for this season.

And if they eventually lose their next match,  it will be hard for them to recover since the points on the table are still far below and United is not even in the top 5 clubs in the league.

This is a good start for Man City this season as they will be able to win the next four matches because the clubs are not as strong as City. It's also salah's mistake as well. His pass was too strong. Arnold was not yet ready to receive salah's pass. He was miscalculating it. Van dijk was making the situation even worse by getting red card after he was kicking isak's foot.
Van dijk deserves red card. Im still waiting for arnold to get a red card as well. This gonna be a very interesting match. Almiron and gordon were so crazy. Liverpool's goal keeper was only the main hope for another goal will not happen.

Arnold needs to play carefully caused by one more serious fould will be result in getting a red card. Im waiting for another goal to happen.

2 goals in 4 minutes is very surprising and it's because they weren't fully concentrated at the start of the game that the 2 goals came. But I appreciate their composure that they didn't fall for Nottingham's lead. Eriksen got the equalizer in the 17th minute and that boosted their morale and they ended the first half 2-1 up. In the second half they equalized in the 52nd minute, 7 minutes after the second half kick off. And in the end they could turn superior after B Fernandes successfully executed the penalty.

I was very surprised by Newcastle's performance against Liverpool. Liverpool have more star players in their squad than Newcastle. However, Newcastle are playing very well today. Newcastle are playing well. I was impressed by the excellent understanding between their players.

Newcastle had 8 shots in the first half, 4 of which were on target. On the other hand, Liverpool's players made only 4 shots. But the important thing is that Liverpool's important defender Van Dijk is now out of the field after receiving a red card. I don't think Liverpool can win with 10 players against Newcastle's 11 players. Newcastle are more likely to win today.

It was a tense match especially in the last 20 minutes. Manchester City was under high pressure when the Sheffield players really built their attacks well. Kyle Walker made a mistake that led to the 1-1 goal, but he really paid for his mistake as he contributed to Rodri's goal in the 88th minute. Of course it was a good moment for Walker, but he really regrets his mistake if Manchester City failed to get maximum points today.

Manchester City put in a good performance the whole game and they completely dominated. Manchester City only didn't look calm when Sheffield built an attack, but in the end they were able to win 3 points to lead the Premier League standings.

True, now Newcastle is in an advantageous position even predicted they could score more goals. In anticipation, Klopp has changed strategy by replacing Luis Diaz and Joseph Gomez will strengthen the defense but if Newcastle stayed aggressive in the second half then I don't think it would have been as effective. By the way I saw someone placing 2 bets on Newcastle -1.75 the total bet was $1 Million so Newcastle had to score 2 more goals, what do you think?

While I will focus on corner kicks it is expected that there will be more corner kicks Newcastle will continue to attack and Liverpool rely on counterattacks, currently the bookie is offering 12.5 for corner kicks meaning it takes 6 more to win I will take bet over 12.5 corner kicks.

 I know it was going to be like this in this fixture, despite the red card I know Newcastle won't let Liverpool run them down like they did last season. And speaking about the red card, that was too sloppy from Van Dijk, he has lost it, as of then when Liverpool won the LEAGUE TITLE. He's not that good as before, I think without him in the next game it won't be a problem.
 Gordon got the first goal for Newcastle and his first goal for Newcastle, I think. The goal scorer used to play for Liverpool before they released him and Everton got him and now look at what happened, he gave Liverpool something to remember a better punishment for letting him go, that's what happens to these bigger clubs when they start joking with the younger players who wants to play for the team and I think Chelsea is next for letting Hall go. Well I feel Newcastle will still get more goals in this encounter.

I can't watch Manchester City vs Sheffield United anymore, completely one sided game and Sheffield United has no chance to reach Manchester City's defenders, after 70 minutes they've not made any shoot. Even though Manchester City win with big margin against Burnley, but Burnley was able to compete and made few shots. Props to Wesley Foderingham since he have made good saves.

You are right this is like a one-sided match, although in the second half after Manchester City managed to break the deadlock with a goal from Haaland, Sheffield also managed to equalize but Manchester City is indeed a team with quality above their opponent so it is difficult for Sheffield to be able to make many attempts.
Liverpool is behind Newcastle, and it looks like they are in a precarious situation as they are now down to just 10 men after their captain Virgil van Dijk was sent off by the referee, it's quite bad to see how Liverpool got two red cards in their last two games.
It's a tough struggle for Liverpool to catch up and also to win this game, I predict a draw will be the best result Liverpool can get because Newcastle are very consistent in keeping their defense, unless there are mistakes that can be put to good use by Liverpool's attackers.

Liverpool were under enormous pressure when the game had only lasted a few minutes because Newcastle United played quite an attacking game. Alexander-Arnold's mistake of not being able to control the backpast ball from Mohamed Salah allowed Anthony Gordon to score in the first half. Virgil Van Dijk received a red card after violating Alexander Ishak so the referee gave him a red card. Newcastle United did not stop attacking in the first half so that Liverpool's defense had a hard time anticipating attacks from them.

The second half has started and I think Liverpool will have a hard time keeping up with the match this time because they have lost one player in the first half. My prediction is Liverpool will lose more than two goals for this match because Newcastle United played quite attacking in the first half. Liverpool have lost in the number of players and will have enough trouble maintaining defense and building attacks.
