After Gundogan, Riyad Mahrez and Laporte left the club this summer, Manchester City have managed to add a few replacements to fill these positions and they are still toping the league rankings this season already. A victory today elevated them to top place in the league after week three ahead of Newsastle and Arsenal who lost and drew respectively.

City was just finding the replacement for thos guys easily. Kovacic replaced Gundogan and Doku replaced Mahrez. Laporte sat on the bench often during his career at Manchester City and won't be replaced..
The strongest club in EPL. City keeps winning more and more match even though the team looked like struggle during the first half. Im watching now about how city is trying to find the replacement for mahrez as soon as possible.
Doku already passed the medical test and i expect city to announce him as soon as possible. The club was working so fast as mahrez was always very important winger for the club.
I think that there will be no more player gonna leave from city soon. I expect more player to come or city may be making doku as its last transfer for this season.

When you have a good coach, good board members and good owners that are ready to back up a team such team would like always be successful and stand out above others, i believe that's why Manchester city have been outstanding so far, they signed a good coach with a winning mentality and backed him up heavily with finance to help him succeed.
 I think they'll continue dominating in the premier league so far Pep Guardiola is still involved in the team, I like the fact that he easily figure out players that are suitable for his pattern and go for them and the success rate of the club makes it easy for players to want to come into the team with much difficulties in trying to lure them, replacing Gundogan with Kovacic was a brilliant idea and it's paid off so far due to Kovacic brilliant passing ability and ability to mark opposition players

Pep Guardiola had surgery in Barcelona and that's why he couldn't start coaching his team like way in the game against Sheffield United, but still, before the start of the game, Bernardo Silva said they can win the game with or without Guaidola. and we saw they won this game easier than we could imagine against Sheffield United.

It's been an interesting week for the Premier League. Manchester City made 3 out of 3 to show that they are favorites for the championship again. Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal also feel like they will be in the race. Not sure about Chelsea though. It looks like it will be a good competitive season again.

EPL was full of surprises. Many clubs big clubs conceded a lot of goals during the first half but they were able changing the situation at the end of the match. It surprises me how nunez has been changing the situation a lot. I must admit if newcastle's defensive line was lack of consistence.

The clubs had difficulty changing from attacking to defending positions consistently. Nunez was just getting free room. Burn was always making mistakes. This guy shall be replaced. Arsenal seems so hard in competing with another club in EPL> as it has got bad result against fulham.
Nunez has become savior for liverpool. Newcastle played even badly compared when it was still against 11 players of liverpool. I dunno what thing that makes it happen, but newcastle was so bad during the second half.

Manchester City are not considered favourite to win EPL title again from nothing. They are the best team with the best players. They have sometimes defence issues rather than scoring troubles, otherwise the team is almost perfect from players to management.
Liverpool made a solid win today vs Newcastle although they were late until the last ten minutes of the game. It is unfortunate to see Newcastle lose like that but it is also good to see Liverpool getting important three points vs such opponent.

NU was not maximizing its chance to win the game against 10 players. Howe was making a blunder by substituting some crucial players who contributed a lot since the first half like gordon and tonalli.
I am aware that the keys of newcastle's gameplay were on tonalli and gordon. Honestly, the performance from newcastle was dropping a lot when gordon and tonalli were leaving from the club.
Stupid howe shall not let them go out. The garbage player like barnes who is so selfish were substituted in. It's a blunder by newcastle. Playing at home against 10 players but still no win.
I think that the quality of club is still the same even though it is owned by PIF. The key to making newcastle better is changing its coach. Eddie howe is not capable enough in handling the team.

Again Trent Alexander Arnold shown that he can not play well as a right defender.  I am not sure why Klopp used Arnold at this position again as in late of last season, Arnold was used as a midfielder and play very well. He provides good passes, creativeness and at the same time, reduce risk and holes in Liverpool defense.

Gundogan has been one of Manchester City's best midfielders and we haven't seen a worthy replacement for Gundogan from Manchester City so far. Three important players have left Manchester City and the most important player of the team is out of the field with injuries for a long time, which means that Manchester City is not getting a complete team like last season. Although not a complete team, Manchester City has been able to keep themselves at the top of the points table in the Premier League so far. Manchester City have won three of the first three matches. Before the start of the match against Newcastle, we thought that Manchester City might not win this match but Manchester City won against Newcastle.  

Manchester City's next match is against Fulham, the opponents in the first three matches were relatively tougher than Fulham so expect Manchester City to win the match against Fulham.

No real changes have occurred to the Manchester City squad so their appearance is still the same, indeed the players who left the team most likely affected their appearance, but seeing how they looked for replacements for the players who left were quite successful. But I don't think that they will continue to be comfortable because many things can happen in the next match and what the coach fears the most is player injuries which will greatly affect the result later.

It is true that the offer came from the Saudi club however, there has been no further agreement as Liverpool are not interested in selling Moh Salah at least for this season, even though Salah is already 31 years old he is still being targeted by several elite clubs. But if we talk about the next season 2024 Liverpool might just let Salah go to another club because it was the right time before his contract expired and as a free agent.

Newcastle United's first goal by Anthony Gordon because Trent A. Arnold mistakenly anticipated the ball given by Mo. Salah makes me feel The Magpies will beat Liverpool easily. Yes, Liverpool were really able to play extraordinary despite being put under great pressure by Newcastle. Darwin Nunez also deserves high praise because he was able to change the flow of the game and managed to score two goals at the end of the game. Apart from that, Allison was also very brilliant because she was able to withstand the onslaught and brush off the good opportunities created by the Newcastle players. However, the red card that Virgil Van Dijk received was of course very detrimental to Liverpool because he could not take part in the next match against Aston Villa at Anfield. Klopp must be really careful and maintain the game like yesterday because the Reds this season have a mission to dominate the top flight of the standings, of course consistency is needed to achieve that.

I must admit that if nunez has been getting amazing positioning against newcastle. It needs only less than 15 minutes for him to scoring another goal. I am really aware if the newcastle defenders were making some mistakes. They were focusing in attacking liverpool while the defenders were not even trying to focusing their eyes on nunez. Newcastle was always performing so well during the first half but it will not able to play better for the second half. The substitutions have been making the club was dropping so hard.
Im seeing howe's face and he looked like very frustrated with the wrong decision by substitutd tonalli and gordon. The quality owned by barnes is far below gordon. Howe can't hide his disappoinment with the result got by newcastle.

Yes. Klopp has a calm demeanor in reading the opponent's game situation when his squad is experiencing a shortage of players. I join in appreciating Klopp's strategy at St. James' Park in for a crucial win in stoppage time.

Not only Nunez, but the roles of Salah, Szoboszlai and Becker were quite big throughout the game. Alisson Becker was able to save some of Newcastle's chances in the second half with 4 saves made on the 2nd statistic and 7 saves overall over the 90 minutes he played.

It seems the shirt of David de Gea is not suitable for André Onana because in the last games we from André Onana in the premier league, he couldn't have a good performance, and this goalkeeper couldn't have the performance we were expecting to see from him.
Especially in the game against Nottingham Forest when Nottingham Forest scored two goals the fans were blaming Onana.

I wonder who is blaming Onana for those two goals. The first goal was a loose ball from the midfield and Awoniyi was face to face with Onana. The striker pretended that he wanted to take the shot and Onana had to respond but Awoniyi still moved with the ball and finally took the shot. When a player is alone with the goalkeeper, it will take luck and skills to perform. The second goal was a good header in a crowded box and there was no way he could be blamed for the goal. We should be blaming the United defense for giving out cheap balls, exposing their goalkeeper, and putting him under pressure.

We all know that the club expects much from Onana but he needs time to understand the league. If the press keeps spreading lies and loop-sided analysis about him, they will end up frustrating him out of the club. His performance was outstanding in Inter because he enjoyed a conducive environment, the English press shouldn't make the club's environment toxic. He should be given time to show his class.
