Strategies can change due to different coaches ideas, each coach has his own strategy which always requires the club he handles to bring in new players and sell players who are not included in the coach's plans. Arne Slot will try to make changes to the Liverpool squad to improve its performance beyond Jurgen Klopp, but he must overcome the challenges in front of him because the EPL is very competitive. Erik Ten Hak has two options now for the striker position and the arrival of Joshua Zirkzee will provide competition for Hojlund if he does not play at his best. Why are you so sure that Man United is not a place to develop potential and I think he decided to move to Man United because he wanted to develop his talent to be better. Previously it was true that many players who after joining Man United experienced a decline in performance.

But now everything is a little different because Man United have made big changes and Joshua Zirkzee can play above his current performance if he continues to get a place. I think there will be big changes for Man United next season because they are serious about preparing changes starting from players and management.

This is a football game in which each player proves exactly how they can contribute to a team with enough chance they had to play. Højlund struggled to score constantly last season. Manchester United has signed a new striker who helped Bologna qualify for next season's Champions League. Of course, adding a new striker will produces competition for the two players, and nobody will be happy with the limited playing time. But, if you look at it, in the majority of the matches they played last season, Ten Hags didn't let Hojlund play the whole minute, they normally changed him in the second half, so the competition may be lower than you expect.

Signing Joshua Zirkzee will not change the situation at Manchester United, but I believe everything will be different next season as they work on how to bring in additional players to improve their performance. Let's see what Ten Hag can do next season with these outstanding players.

Do you guys watch this game? I watched it, and yeah, Ten Hag's team needs time to build their chemistry. The result wasn't bad. But, they were against a mediocre team. It's part of Ten Hag's process of rebuilding his club. And absolutely nothing wrong with this result achieved by Manchester United in this game. The first and youth team squads needed minutes, and that’s all. United played so damn well in the first half, but the second half was boring enough to watch. I can still understand it. This is the first pre-season game, and I shouldn't have big expectations for Manchester United.

Glad to see Ten Hag is trying to give minutes to so many young players of Manchester United. It seems Ten Hag is trying to identify which young player will be able to step up into the main team. I consider this game is about a fitness for all young players of Manchester United. Vitek showed whether he is worthy enough to be considered. He deserved a clean sheet, but he was not lucky enough in that game.

This game is good enough to give cardio to the young players of Manchester United.

I have believed that Eric Ten Hang will be able to do much better work in Manchester United this season, if he is allowed to strengthen the team. I have believed in him to do much better work than what he did in the last season, but the friendly match that Manchester United played this evening has in one way or the other disappointed me. Manchester United was unable to win a weaker team which is unlike Ten Hang the first season he came to Manchester United. He won all the small and big teams. No matter the fact that it is pre season match, it matters in building the spirit of the team.

I am worried about Manchester United performance in friendly game. They did not play well which is surprising since their coach Eric Ten Hag did great job last season. While preseason games are not always good measure of team strength they help build team spirit and energy. Manchester United struggled against weaker team which raises concerns about their preparedness for new season. Despite this I still have faith in Ten Hag ability to improve team. He has shown he is a good coach and with the right players I think Manchester United can do well this season.

Don't too worried about it because pre season matches results cannot be used as the reference to predict Manchester United performance for next season because usually most of big teams doesn't too serious about friendlies matches and the results is not really matter for them because usually friendly match only used to analysis the weaknesses of the particular teams besides that pre season tour too is good because this is good chances for some of young players to gets the experience and gets more minutes to play

Looking at to Manchester United starting lineup when they lost from Rosenborg it was dominated by young players and at least Ten Hag was played 6 young players on that match so i think this loses is still normal because Manchester United didn't playing with their important players but indeed Ten Hag should be evaluate this result because Manchester United has poor statistics that during this match they only have 45% ball possession and gets 5 total of shots

Next week Manchester United will have their 2nd match of the pre season tour against Rangers and it is confirmed Ten Hag will be more serious to facing this match and he will be targetting win result from this match too but indeed Manchester United still unable to played some of their important players because some of them are still on vacation after defending their national teams at Euro Cup

Unfortunately I didn't watch it because at first I thought Manchester United would definitely win but it was quite surprising if they lost to Rosenberg. But that's not a problem because these two teams want to test each other's strengths in this pre-season match and whatever the result, it certainly won't have a full impact on the players' mentality.

In fact, everything would be much more organized if all the players were fit before the actual competition started and Erik ten Hag really has to do this so that his players are better prepared for the EPL competition next season. Arne Slot has proven to be quite a quality coach because he has also succeeded in making the club he coached previously get a ticket to the UCL this season and Feyenoord even won the Eredivisie in the 2022-23 season. And I think Liverpool won't need too much time to adapt to their new coach. Because actually the strategies used by Slot and Klopp are similar, namely that they both have strategies that emphasize aggressiveness in attacking and aggressively pressing opponents.

but yeah, a little change is bound to happen because there's definitely a little adjustment going on. But by the way, I haven't seen any aggressive movements from Liverpool in the transfer market.

I know preseason games is all about preparation and testing of tactics. it’s not about winning actually but an avenue for clubs to test their tactics and style of play to know which one works better. Unfortunately, Manchester United lost the match and there was no single tactical move displayed by United.

Manchester did not only lose this game, they had just a shot on target for the whole of 90 minutes. This is the right time to criticize their poor tactics and not until season starts.

Before you start criticizing, look at the lineup Manchester United played. Apart from Rashford and Casemiro, I don’t see who could stand up to Rosenborg. This is a friendly match in which the coach wants to see what the young players are capable of, the result in such matches is of secondary importance. Now, probably after the Euro, the players will receive a short vacation after which preparations for the new season will begin, then it will be possible to evaluate the team’s results.

Yes, maybe that could happen by still using some of Klopp ideas or methods in developing the team, but I sure not in its entirety because of course Arne Slot still considers everything and uses what he thinks is right.
It just that playing strategies and game patterns in the use of players and game tactics will definitely change, each coach has his own characteristics in leading the team and in general we will not see Liverpool in the future having the same characteristics as before.
I also completely agree with what you say in relation to context like this, after all, Liverpool during the time under Klopp leadership until Klopp left him was still pretty good team, without lot of mistakes and significant decline in performance.
Arne Slot just needs to continue and change the team strength pattern more easily, of course Arne Slot knows what is best for him to do.
