I wish best for Manchester United in a new season but I hope that they won't take this close defeat too seriously and feel too much confident about their ability. Like they are very near to quality level of Manchester City and will be able to fight for Premier League title in a coming season. If they feel confidently like this, they will not go to anywhere far in a new season.

There are many weaknesses in their squad and they must seriously look at this fact, to be ready for fixing and improving it. If they view themselves like this, they will become a stronger team in coming months.

This is a first Community Shield title for Manchester City after three years, so congratulations!

I was very impressed with Manchester United performance yesterday because I couldn't believe they would play that good after all there lapses on the pre season matches, actually seeing there performance yesterday made me to realize what people were saying about there friendly matches that they shouldn't be judged because is not a serious match for them so now I have seen that they intentionally decided not to take those matches serious, actually if they should continue with this performance they had on this community shield on there premier League matches it will certainly be a good season for them, I was shocking to see how Manchester United dominated Manchester City at the beginning of the match and also hold them goalless on the first half, though if not for Silva Manchester United would have won the match.

Whenever it comes to Manchester City, Manchester utd is usually very strong and that I cannot explain why. It will surprise people to know that United have won City more in all their meetings, they have met 193 times and United won 79 while City won 61. Despite that United are not doing so well in recent times even from last season, they are always active and ready to fight hard when they meet City. Maybe they want to maintain their records which they guide so well. My prediction in the CS was that City will would win but narrowly and I never expected it will be so tight to enter penalty shoot out.

Liverpool vs Sevilla today's match is over now and the result of this match is 4-1. Liverpool's strong attack today was really impressive, their performance was outstanding. Guardiola thus showed that he does not take this match too seriously, although the City squad was also strong. The main time ended without goals, and to see only one shot on target from City during the entire match is strange, even in friendly matches with Barcelona, Milan and Celtic this indicator was much better. The arrival of Calafiori and making David Raya permanent for the new season is certainly a good thing for Arsenal to do right now because at least with Calafiori, it can make our expectations greater for Arsenal's current defense.

Bringing in Calafiori removes Zinchenko and his errors from the equation, taking them a significant step closer to winning the league title.
Arteta learnt from last season and has found solution to the defensive blunders that has affected them. I hope something changes for them this time around.

Man United had far more opportunities than Man City but the final solution was still not able to be maximized properly. Very funny because you do not watch football very often; if not, you won't say these things. Manchester United played totally rubbish yesterday. First of all, Manchester City had a reason for starting most of their academic boys in the finals because using their full squad Manchester United is no match for them. And the reason is to avoid injuries on their preferred player as the EPL will start soon. Even with the chances Manchester City gave United to score and win the game they could not. Yesterday's City performance fell short of their A-grade. Pep is a genius, though, and he is sure of his actions. Resting major participants in the Community Shield? Strategic genius, folks. Its regarding the long game, not only one prize. Still, they win. They found a way even without their customary weaponry. That defines a real champion squad.
