The atmosphere in St James Park is partly cloudy, its a good and balance weather condition for the Magpies and Citizens. Both team line-up is assigned out and we're yet to watch the outstanding performance coming from both parties. Manchester City happens to have relevant odds in this game because they're elite club and having every confidence to win their oppositions. Checking their H2H and we see Manchester City leading, they've been an amazing dominated team ahead of Newcastle United in decades and this is just another weekend for Pep Guardiola to bagged his winnings. This is another weekend to gamble, the probability of Newcastle United winning this game is slimed based on their H2H records against Manchester City in the English Premier League games. Manchester City is playing without a good CAM.But I don't think it's a serious problem for them. From their lineup, Gundogan and Kova are their strong pivots. They are pressing Newcastle hard. They lead the game one nil against their opponent. Their player, Gundogan, has been making some killer passes to their attackers.

But sadly, one of their attackers, Haaland, has been bloody on his ankle. This makes him unable to give his best till half time.  And i don't know whether Pep will sub him or keep him for the second half.

It seems to me they're going to win with a narrow score against newcastle.

Whether injury or not, City remains the favorite in this game as they were able to take the lead on ths 36th minutes with J.Gvardiol scoring his first goal this season with a beautiful finish to put City on the lead. During the extra last minute of extra time Newcastle almost equalized but Ederson was able to stop the shot from entering the back of the net. City looks very strong and took dominance of the game in the first half. We might see more goals from City in the second half or from Newcastle. City leads 1-0

Man City had more chances in the first half. They had more than 59% possession and managed to make 8 shots which resulted in 1 goal.
Newcastle did not create many chances. They had chances at the end of the first half but still could not equalize the score.
Newcastle played more defensively and they had to get out of their defensive game and try to attack more if they wanted to score. Newcastle should have had chances to score in the second half.

Manchester city is already a goal ahead at the end of the first half of the game and they almost had a second goal if not that gvardiol wasn't able to make an assist he was supposed to because in that game if he had given haaland the ball, i believe haaland would have made a goal form that pass but he made a direct strike which couldn't get the ball behind the net. Newcastle has been really aggressive in this game and at some point the game felt too erratic and i was wandering if they could calm the tempo of the game awhile though it feels like castle doesn't want to loose this game but then city appears more technically sound than they are and their pattern on the pitch isn't stable enough as do Manchester city.

Damn, Manchester City can still dominating even they play away and they've scored one goal, Newcastle will be harder to comeback.

As we can see Haaland is under perform due to De Bruyne and Rodri absence, Manchester City is still Manchester City, but we can expect they will not able to score many goals.

I'm surprised that Isak is actually absence in this match, I thought he's available.

It's an easy match, Liverpool will win.

Interesting first half from both teams. From what I have watched, the two sides have both matched up their energy, thereby balancing the game. City took the lead with a goal from gvardiol, after dribbling past a Newcastle defender before gentling sliding it into the bottom corner. I think both sides have defended well in the first half, but city defended more, because Newcastle was always on the counter. I feel Newcastle are trying to play a physical type of football against City, and they've been impressive in launching the ball from the back to the front.

The first half should have probably ended 1-1, but Ederson made a very good save to deny Newcastle. Haaland hasn't been to active so far, and it seems he has a little discomfort. I haven't seen too much impact of Bernardo Silva. Gundogan has been brilliant so far in terms of attack, but very poor in making attempts to score. Gvardiol for me has been the stand out player in the first half, and maybe grealish as well.

It seems that Newcastle will face a much tighter pressure situation in the second half, because Manchester City still feels unsafe with 1 goal. In the game Newcastle can still equalise, certainly the second half will show each other attacks from both to steal every opportunity. Remember Manchester City is very dominant in controlling the game.

Wolves vs Liverpool is a fitting finale to the Premier League. Let's say 3 points for the Red then expand to occupy second place.

Its a difficult match and from the look of things Newcastle is using a home advantage mentality to press on in this game. Nevertheless, before the end of half time Manchester city managed to score leading 0:1 on the half time. The goal came from Gvardiol with an assist from Grealish. Trippler defensive error lead to that goal as he fail to win the ball in front of their goal yard box. Is looking like city is allowing Newcastle to enjoy the game as host while they would be doing the scoring... I expect to see more goals as they get into the second half.

But Gundogan hasn't been himself since his return from Barça, I hope he gets back to his best soon.

Unexpectedly Newcastle United was able to equalise which finally held Man City from 3 points. The second half which I thought Man City would be much more aggressive than the first half was instead Newcastle who dominated the attack. Ederson had no other choice when dealing 1 by 1 with Gordon. Pinalti Voucher deserves because the momentum of the offence cannot be avoided. When it entered 7 minutes of added time Man City really issued all its abilities to penetrate the opponent's defence but the final result had to be various points and this result benefited Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal to steal the top position of the standings.
Without KDB and Rodri, Man City attack is a little lacking in creation other than relying on Bernando Silva

Newcastle United are still playing right in this game despite Manchester City leading by 1-0 in first half  though Manchester City are favorite to win the game but still looking at the game in first half I believe we are going to see a different football in the second half of this game. Newcastle performance in the first half shown that they can do better in the second half, I really thought that the absence of Rodri and Kelvin De bruyne will affect Manchester City team but at the look of things it doesn't because Manchester City performance in the first half really shown that the citizens can still do more better without these two players Rodri and Kelvin De Bruyne.

The game changed, Newcastle played more offensively after the second half started and that gave them more chances than they had in the first half. An attempted attack from Bruno Guimaraes and Anthony Gordon resulted in a penalty, and successfully converted into a goal. Newcastle back to level, and they definitely realized that this would make Man City more aggressive, therefore they directly changed their strategy and played defensive football. The strategy seemed to be successful because the score did not change until the match ended.

But Newcastle's goalkeeper failed as he was very experienced as Manchester City came under heavy attack in the final extra minutes and he saved every attack with ease. 

But Newcastle's players earned a point largely through strategy, as they fended off a wide range of attacks in the closing stages. It's very sad that Manchester City team player Haaland couldn't score in this match despite trying hard, so the performance of Manchester City team players is much worse compared to Newcastle team.
