Isn't it too early to be putting Chelsea into the title contention or are we just going to act as if we don't see that it is smaller teams that Chelsea has being winning since and haven't played against any strong team. The last time they played against a top team, they lost to Manchester city. Chelsea are improving that isn't a lie but they have alot of work to do before I'll consider them one of the favourites to win the premier league. I am happy for Chelsea as they're no longer giving mid table teams free points and now scoring lots of goals but they should be ready to put on the same performance when they face teams like Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United.

Enzo Maresca deserves praise for his team performance which continues to show a positive trend. A promising victory over Brighton, shows that Chelsea has developed gradually, they only need to maintain this performance in the next matches, especially when facing other elite Premier League teams. Cole Palmer who managed to score a quatrick in the first half, put himself in the Premier League history books. Overall, the additional three points are indeed deserved by Chelsea, while Brighton failed to continue the unbeaten trend. Previously, many doubted the quality of Enzo Maresca, but now I feel he has succeeded in gaining the trust of the fans quickly. Chelsea squad looks fat, giving the manager the freedom to rotate his players, although sometimes it doesn't always work.

Yes but what is even harder to believe is that Arsenal is about to give away a 2-0 lead at home against one of the weakest teams in the Premier League. They are all having issues at the moment, none of the best teams is really in best shape. They are all superior on paper, but they can't take on the challenges and get the job done. Arsenal should have the deepest motivation imaginable to win this game and close the gap between them and Manchester City and now they are overwhelmingly in control and can't possibly win the game? I think Arteta is going nuts in his head at the moment as he finally wants to win the rivalry with Guardiola once. But he is about to mess these little things up once again.

Arsenal were held to a draw by Leicester for the time being. Even though the match was not over yet, what Leicester did was quite surprising. They didn't have many chances, and Arsenal were in complete control of the game, but from that little chance, they were able to make it into 2 goals. Arsenal also scored 2 goals but they had 4 times more shots on target than Leicester, and it means Leicester is more effective than Arsenal. There are 10 minutes left in the match, if the result does not change, this is clearly a loss for Arsenal.

They turned it around in spectacular fashion and I bet that Guardiola went crazy when he saw it. There was a lot going on between Arsenal and Manchester City after their last game that ended in a draw with that super late goal scored by Manchester City. Both sides were complaining about all kinds of stuff, but I can feel how Guardiola was hoping that Arsenal messes it up and how the pressure went up by the second for Mikel Arteta, but then they had these two lucky punches in the last two minutes.

Of course they were supposed to win that game and had all the chances they needed while Leicester shocked them out of nothing. This season I think the top of the Premier League will be very tight. Manchester City is having a first weak phase and Liverpool and even Chelsea are doing well and Aston Villa could take over second position from Manchester City. I like it when there is no single team being alone at the top winning every game and then the season is over after 85% of the games have been played. It is far more exciting this way and it is good to see some beef between clubs and managers

It was cold outside today lol. Cole Palmer made history today as the first player in the Premier League to score four goals in the first half of a game. His free kick was beautiful, I watched the replay like four times already. Cole Palmer is on a different level. No wonder he’s being compared to Lamine Yamal. Kudos to Cole Palmer he was superb in every aspect of the game.

Chelsea had a great game today, nobody really so that coming. We all know Brighton had a great record this season, they haven't lost any game. Both Brighton and Chelsea were really poor defensively, but the Chelsea Attack was on fire. Big ups to Maresca and his boys.

His record breaking performance today in Chelsea's victory against Brighton is a strong indication that the England international's impressive records for Chelsea last season didn't happen by luck but because he's got the qualities of a world class footballer.
Saying Cole Palmer is being compared to Lamine Yamal I think is a disrespect to Palmer who has already shown his potentials before Yamal came to limelight. If Cole Palmer can continue with this kind of performance he displayed today, Chelsea might be winning the English Premier League title this season

3 points for Liverpool but we were far from great. Deserved the win as Wolves were awful but we need to be much better in future.

The win sends Liverpool top of the table, it’s very early though so we shouldn’t look into that too much.

Honestly is been long I saw Liverpool top the table and this is something the fans and even the coach should be happy about but this game against Wolves should be a game they should have won without wasting time or chances. The home team have not been up to speed in improving ther style of play, even when they started the game they look like a team that can stop Liverpool from scoring but after sometime they lost that force of pressing the Reds, so I feel Wolves are not ready this season, 6 games no win 1 draw and the rest we know about and you think they won't be struggling to avoid relegation? I even see them going to the championship.

Winning today's match was not easy for Liverpool players. Home team Wolves performed well in this match. This is why Liverpool's players failed to dominate the match. Liverpool took the lead in the last minute of the first half with KOnate's goal. However, Wolves equalized at the beginning of the second half. The second half was quite competitive and exciting. Wolves' players were able to make several strong attacks. But after going 2-1 up, Liverpool's players kept their defense tight. And because of this Wolves players can't score any more goals in this match. By winning this match, Liverpool have managed to occupy the top spot in the table. Liverpool is 1 point ahead of Manchester City.

Wolves did very well to pressure the goal scorer Konate to give away the ball but that should have been what they had to do since the beginning of the game, always press till they get what they're looking for but it was too late when they started doing in the last minute and Liverpool are ready to defend too. Liverpool wasn't that good in that encounter I must say but Wolves don't have the tools to make Liverpool surrender to them, like you said the performance of Wolves made Liverpool to underperform so they need to work more on the attacking line to win balls and capitalize on them.
Topping the table with just 1pt is not a comfortable one not when you have teams like Manchester City and Arsenal occupying 2nd and 3rd position respectively, for now the league has just begun.

I am not undermining the ability of Lamine Yamal and wouldn’t take anything away from him but Cole Palmer is special too. I think the reason why Palmer is still not been hyped enough by media houses is because Chelsea his club is not actually doing well at the moment and as such it is affecting his recognition. Yamal praises came in full light when he played for Spain in the Euros and help guide them to the trophy which was an epic thing and this is why he is rate high than the likes of Musiala who I think is a better player. Even Cole Palmer was just not giving the much needed support in the England national team in that euros it would have helped the three lions and also place him higher up in the Balon d’or ranking.

Enzo Maresca appointment at Chelsea came with some criticism from even fans of Chelsea and even went worse when he decided to stream cut the Chelsea squad. Yes Cole Palmer is a great finisher and has been in the scene long before Lamine Yamal. But I would not take it as a disrespect to Cole Palmer. Lamine Yamal is only 17 years old but the things he can do with the ball is amazing for his age. Barcelona fans are in awe of the young lad and are of the opinion that Lamine Yamal has the potentials of becoming the next Lionel Messi. They are both exceptional players and I think they have a lot in common in the way they play.

It was really good for Arsenal to win in a week when Manchester City lost points. We were a bit worried when the score was 2-2 after going 2-0 up, but the winning goal came in the last minute, followed by another one. Arsenal had so many shots that it was surprising that the winning goal came so late. This year I would like to point out the improved performance of Trossard and Martinelli, both of them have raised their game a level. Havertz also looks like he will have a better scoring season this year.

A brace from the Belgian striker and goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz helped the Gunners overcome fierce resistance from the visitors. Arsenal showed the spirit of a great team by scoring two goals in quick succession in the final minutes. They showed courage until the end to find a way to win. I was quite surprised by the spirit of not giving up on the Arsenal stars.

In the end Arsenal got the 3 points and closed the 2-point gap, now they are equal with City. Liverpool won again to take the lead for now, but I don't think they will stay there for long. Liverpool will play Chelsea and Arsenal back to back in October and will lose points here.

Liverpool Has to play in October against very strong and difficult opponents, after facing Chelsea, then facing Arsenal, and also the Champions League matches. That is not easy. I believe it's too early to call them City's strongest considering their match fixtures are also against bottom-half or even second-tier club. Yeah, they won big against Barrow but they also lost against Servette, drawn against Palace, and so on. CMIIW. To be fair City won the league 2 times with a point difference iirc. CMIIW. The referee's performance needs to get better though since their inconsistency usually kills games.

I think we should look at Palmer in depth, it doesn't mean that Yamal is not equal to him, but what he did with Chelsea is clearly above Yamal, both of these players also have good quality with their respective clubs and are also age-wise, where Palmer is older than Yamal, but Palmer can't feel what Yamal felt when he was that age because he played for Man City where Pep didn't really see their academy and he preferred to play with his favorite players, but Pamer showed his quality with Chelsea, he was quite good and I think he deserves praise for his work.
Yamal also has the same good quality, he also looks very good at finishing well, but I think Palmer is above him and I see PALMER as a big star who is above Yamal.

Right now for Chelsea, this club is having the best of their season already, so far they have been tremendous from the way they play and the outcome of every matches played. Finished 6th last season but this time with continuous potentials from the club ending 3rd or 4th isn't out of the budget and qualifying for the Champions league.

This is called the "rise of Chelsea". I am surprising to see Chelsea playing very in this season. Cole Palmer, Jadon Sancho, Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke are good at the front then Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella and Malo Gusto are also doing well at the defense and Robert Sánchez the goalkeeper using all his means to protect the post. 
Arsenal is the best team of the season.

But Sanchez was our problem in the last game. He created two stupid mistakes that are really unacceptable as a professional goalkeeper. I have no complaints about their front and back lines. But, I have many about his performance. He looked like an impostor that helped his former club to scored.

It's truly unpredictable movement by him as a goalkeeper. He made lots of saves, yes, but his blunders ruined it all. His team could secure a clean sheet if he was not doing stupid things. Firstly, he competed for the ball in the air; secondly, he wrongly passed to his opponent.

These performances of Cole Palmer since the last season are very impressive, and he reminds us about a legendary midfielder in Chelsea Frank Lampard. Cole Palmer improved a lot and has been upgrading himself to be a very goal productive attacking midfielder. It's like another version of Frank Lampard who holds a record of best scorer in Chelsea history. It's an impressive record because being a best scorer in a club history when you are not a striker, is very massive.

In fact, at first I was hesitant to choose Man City when I found out that their opponent was Newcastle because I thought that if Man City didn't win, the match would most likely end in a draw and it turned out that Man City was held to a draw by Newcastle through a penalty kick taken by Anthony Gordon and because of that my parlay bet lost because I bet on Man City winning.
And for other matches I can correctly predict Arsenal to win with a big score of 4-2 against Leicester City and Liverpool also beat the host Wolves with a narrow score of 2: 1.
And Man City's position which was initially at the top of the standings has now been shifted by Liverpool who have 1 point more because Man City failed to win yesterday's match.

Manchester United vs Tottenham

Manchester United team will play against Tottenham today. This match is Manchester United's home match. However, if it's Manchester United's home match, I don't see any chance of considering this team as favourite. I am very disappointed with Manchester United's performance this season. Manchester United have won only 2 of the 5 matches. But more importantly, Manchester United scored only 5 goals in 5 matches and conceded 5 goals.

The Tottenham team is also not in very good form. But I will say that Tottenham's overall performance is better than Manchester United's performance. At least the players in Tottenham's forward lineup are performing better than United's. So I will consider Tottenham as favorite in this match.
