For me the problem is not squad depth but the manager is not able to make the most of the quality of the players he has. Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool also don't have much better squad depth but their performance this season has been much better.

I am not sure Manchester United can reach the top 4 this season if their performance is still inconsistent because the Premier League is a place where the competition is very tight, there are clubs that are more convincing than Man United such as Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea who might compete to reach the top 4, for Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City who might be ranked 1-3.
If Man United still retains their coach Erik Ten Hag I completely doubt it but if Man United fires him and replaces a coach who has better abilities to handle the team I think Man United still has a chance to compete for the top 5.

I expect nothing better from Manchester United this season. I don't think Manchester United will qualify for the Champions League. But if Manchester United can qualify for the Champions League then it will be a big achievement for them. I think they need to come into realization before its too late for Manchester  to make Impacts in this season. Because I can Imagine seeing Manchester at the bottom or middle of the table, their usual position should  be competing with top teams to win the EPL and other relevant league titles. Well we appreciate his impact last season but since he's not all that efficient we have to let him go and replace him ASAP to keep the clubs reputation. Chelsea had to make some series of changes in their management to get to were they are now, with their current form,  its obvious they'll finish among the top 4 teams in the league.

Hmmm, to be honest here, I am one of the stunch supporter of Eric ten hang over the years and i initially thought that he can turn things around due to the fact that he has proven to be a winner over the years, even when his performance as the manager of Manchester united is not good, I still believe that it's just a bad phase that he is definitely going to go past, but right now, it has gotten to the point where I believe that he has nothing to offer this Manchester united team again, his performance  at  the club is really bad and Manchester united can't be languishing in 13th position as a mid table team, it's definitely unacceptable, though everything is in the hands of the hierarchy of Manchester united, it's very clear that the fans want him gone, but it's the decisions of the hierarchies, I believe that if result doesn't improve, they will be forced to sack him even though it's not in their intentions to sack him now.

So far all of Premier league teams can able to overcomes their opponents in champion league because Manchester City, Aston Villa, Arsenal and Liverpool have done well but for Manchester City and Liverpool i think their results were predictable because these teams only facing small teams which from the strength is below to them especially for Manchester City that i have no wonder if they can win with big scores because Manchester City opponent is only Slovakia team Slovan Bratislava
