Have been wondering what Madueke told Enzo Maresca after he scored the equalizer while celebrating in their 1-1 draw against the 10men Nottingham Forest yesterday, after the goal he was saying something to the coach and the manager was smiling happily. In that game we all saw the selfishness of the player and he always wants everything in every single game to be about him but it only shows he's not a team player and I think he should be with players like Ronaldo, that's when things ain't working out for him (I know Ronaldo lovers will react, but it doesn't matter).
I think Enzo Maresca should make a quick change in selecting players after the international break, Madueke should be dropped because he's not the type that plays for the team but for himself, for the spotlight to always be on him just as it has been for Palmer whenever he does incredible things. Should Madueke be dropped and start either Nkunku, Felix, Mudryk or Neto, which is better for Enzo Maresca to do?

One thing I like with Enzo Maresca is his composure towards handling situations of the pitch.

Chelsea tried yesterday, it is not always easy in some games despite you quality players and your form, some teams are just there to share points or even defeat you. Imagine Nottingham Forest with red card trying to steal three points from Chelsea, it could have been a disgrace but if we see how well they played, we will know that a draw is not bad for Chelsea that’s why Enzo Maresca was smiling at Maduake because he was happy to have a point.

I don’t think team selection will be a problem for Enzo Maresca because I think he know what every player can offer which was why he signed some players despite having players of that same position.
After the international brake, Chelsea needs all the effort they can put because they have five tough games to clear, and if they can be able to get good points out of them, then they can compete for the title.

What do you mean he should be with players like Ronaldo? Playing football with Cristiano Ronaldo means you'll have to pass all the ball for him to score because he's already and always there in the box. Noni might be good but I don't see him playing with Ronaldo,I don't even see him as a player who will be considered Chelsea legend one day, in little or no time he'll be sold and I don't lie when I say we all will definitely see it happening. Had great movements but was just too selfish during that game. As much as he can learn to pass the ball like Sancho, they'll score more goals, unfortunately, Cole Palmer gets everything and that's fine. Chelsea are currently doing great regardless. Top Manager!

What I meant was he should play with players like Ronaldo, they both have almost the same thing in common like if things doesn't go their way they start playing selfish football. I agree with you, Madueke won't last long as a Chelsea player, he'd like to be at a place where he can be seen as the key man, without him the team can't perform. For him to be a Chelsea legend, it won't happen even if he stays at Chelsea for a long period of time, the man lacks patience that's why he's always desperate to do something everyone would applaud him and it makes him miss simple chances he's suppose to convert.

if you look at Man United performance when playing against Aston Villa, it is actually lucky for Man United to get 1 point at Aston Villa's home because Man United's performance is far from the standard as a big club. If Man United is still coached by Ten Hag until the end of this season, then Man United fans should be prepared to see their favorite club fail to compete in the Champions League next season. therefore, Man United Management must immediately find a solution to find the right replacement figure to handle Man United this season at least even though they cannot win this season, but the club can compete in the Champions League next season.

Man United may not have played too well, but if you look at how they played before, then a draw against Aston Villa is a pretty good result for them. I'm also not sure whether Man United will be able to bounce back and make improvements, but it seems that firing Ten Hag will not be the solution (at least for now) because Man United will only get a replacement who is not necessarily the coach that Man United needs to be better.

If they want to change the manager then Man United has to choose the right person and I think that can only be done when the transfer window is available, where at that time there were many choices and not limited to just a handful of people.

Yes indeed, Manchester United is still lucky to get 1 point because after all, Aston Villa can still be consistent with good performance after Aston Villa managed to beat  Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Indeed the English Premier League is very competitive unlike some leagues that are farmers leagues. On several occasions we have seen more than two teams competing for the EPL trophy. If you look at the league table this now you will see the tight spacing between the first 5 clubs. Chelsea and Aston Villa had the chance to close up the gap between 4th position and the top three but drew taking home one point each. It looks like Liverpool and Chelsea are joining the title race this season, this should be very interesting.

Like you rightly say, Chelsea and Aston Villa had the opportunities of closing in with the league leaders to just three points but they failed to win in their games yesterday but couldn't maximize the chances. But a five points gap between fourth placed Chelsea and league leaders Liverpool isn't too big to catch up with if you ask me. I'm enjoying the competition in the English Premier League and I'll like it to remain this competitive till the end of the season

I am not sure whether I understand your post correctly, but are you trying to convey that under Arne Slot the team is playing much better than under Jurgen Klopp? I have read a lot of things from you guys and sometimes it is so funny, but this one is a good one. Really, chapeau.

They have had several close games, among which was the loss against Nottingham. Yes it was most likely an accident, which is fine, but to argue that Liverpool is now a much better team because of Arne Slot is ridiculous. Last season they started with 16 points in 6 games, then lost to Tottenham because of a very unlucky game that involved two early red cards for Liverpool.

The umpteenth draw for Man United, although a draw still gets at least 1 point, but in my opinion it is not the expected result for a club that has experienced 3 defeats from 7 matches, as a result Man United has only collected 8 points and is quite far behind the clubs in the top 5. If they continue to perform like this, how can this club compete with the top clubs in the EPL?

Troll football posted this image on their X page and I think it’s a very funny way to illustrate how bad this United manager has been for the club. Anyone saying Erik Ten Hag should be given more time because he got a point is not a fan of Manchester United. The fact Manchester United fans are happy to take a draw against Aston Villa tells you how bad this team has become.

Lol this picture is really funny. Giving Ten Hag more time is just wasting the precious time of the club, is just like managing a bad situation. I saw the club management board in attendance during that Aston villa encounter, I know they won't be impressed with the performance but they should realise that Aston villa too are strong opponent, so the draw was a fair share. I feel the board is already chopping for Ten Hag's replacement, because I've been reading about speculations where Manchester United are approaching different coaches for the job, it won't be long before they will show Erik Ten Hag the exit door.

Although Arne Slot actually only continues the team that Klopp has built. But I have to admit that Arne Slot has indeed succeeded in continuing the good performance that Klopp has inherited in the Liverpool squad. I don't see any similarities between the two players and I think that's a bit of a stretch. Many players don't like being on the bench and they need more opportunities to prove their quality on the pitch, so the player you are referring to is also one of the players who hopes to appear regularly at Chelsea.

There are only a few players who are comfortable being in the same place even though they don't get many opportunities to appear, while others will complain and ask to move clubs. Noni Madueke has performed well so far in his 6 appearances, of course if his goal statistics are compared to last season. Noni Madueke is a player who has a great future, so I think he won't be at all comfortable not getting more opportunities.

Arsenal struggled in the game against Southampton because Arteta decided to do some experimenting with his starting lineup. Thomas Partey was positioned in right back and that decision had an impact on their performance in the first half. Kai Harvertz keeps improving game after game, I just love the connection within the squad.

Saka has being a very important figure in the Arsenal squad, his impact in the team is above others and for any game that he doesn't play or doesn't have a better game, it is going to show as Arsenal won't play better. Arsenal played well in both half but they weren't just getting the final passes to score in the first half. It was the second half that everything began to start woking for Arsenal and Saka also got his goal. Southampton had no chance against Arsenal and they also made Arteta angry after their first goal. Arsenal scoring 3 goals in the second half was a perfect response to Southampton early goal. Saka now has more assists in the premier league.

I also have to say it is 100% mismanagement which brings Red Devils to such situation.

Manchester United is currently 14th on the table and they only have two wins lol . I had some idea that something like this is going to happen in this season if Ten Hag is not removed from the managerial position. I still do not understand how the authority does not realize that it was a mistake to keep Ten Hag. What is the thing that they are waiting for? To what extent does Old Trafford have to drop for them to realize Ten Hag is not the right guy at all? Does Red Devils have to get relegated? Will Ten Hag get fired after that?

I have no hope for Ten Hag right now. I am not going to be surprised if they lose the next three matches one after another. Because that’s how bad they have been playing right now.

I had the distinct feeling that Man UTD will hold Aston Villa to a draw. It's like a pattern; whenever Erik's future gets threatened as coach of the club and the management gives him ultimatums, you'd find him picking up and righting his wrongs because on a normal day, Man UTD weren't supposed to hold Aston Villa down being as they haven't been performing greatly.
 Check the two games he was given to deliver else he'd be sacked and you'd notice he gave them something to relax a bit about. Yes, it's not three points but at least it's better than a loss on the road and being that their away form haven't been impressive of late, getting a point from a club that has enough confidence and ball control is something to be happy over.

It is not a proud achievement for Man United just because they managed to hold Aston Villa to a draw, especially since both teams failed to score a single goal in the match, previously Ten Hag said he had to give him time so that the team he coached would run as desired
but until the 7th week of the Premier League there has been no evidence that he has managed to show furthermore in this match MU's performance did not impress the players as if they had no enthusiasm in playing, small mistakes were often made, is this the fault of the players or the coach?
what is clear is that the ultimatum given by MU management to Ten Hag must be continued, the owner has spent too much money but minimal achievements.

And you think the management are happy with the results? Heck, if not for the win they got at Fulham and Southampton, what other win can they boast of? Defensively Arsenal are the best team in the league and That’s what wins you the league. As for Liverpool I still have an iota of doubt as they haven’t face any challenge yet and I want to see their reaction against a big team before I judge them

Now I think both Chelsea and Aston Villa are just a little bit not up their yet and even Chelsea Enzo Maresca knows this but both teams are definitely in good form that I see them playing in the next season champions league, for now this table is just tight and no too clear predictions will be made or accurate but when we get to half of the season as in the winter we will know the pretenders and the contenders

Manchester City’s injury crisis will really affect them and for them to be on a winning streak from now is something I don’t think it’s going to happen. They been great from the start of the season and every match they’ve played since they got some major players not in the field due to injury has been a bad outing for them. They struggle in those games to win. This is the time for other major teams that are wanting to contend for the league title to take advantage and win as many matches as possible. Manchester City always surprise us in the end and I’m thinking same can still happen this season if we’re not careful.

Against Fulham they actually were very lucky to win if not for Adama miss chances. My favourite to win aside them now is the Gunners I think a third time luck will shine on then if you ask me. Defensively Arsenal are the best team in the league and That’s what wins you the league. As for Liverpool I still have an iota of doubt as they haven’t face any challenge yet and I want to see their reaction against a big team before I judge them

Now I think both Chelsea and Aston Villa are just a little bit not up their yet and even Chelsea Enzo Maresca knows this but both teams are definitely in good form that I see them playing in the next season champions league, for now this table is just tight and no too clear predictions will be made or accurate but when we get to half of the season as in the winter we will know the pretenders and the contenders

You are right. Towards the middle of the season things will start to look clearer. namely between which team is truly the favorite and which team is just lucky at the start and starts to get worse towards the middle of the season. So we really have to be patient before making a more accurate assessment until the middle of the season. And Arsenal is still one of the strongest teams defensively. but unfortunately they are not as productive as Man City in scoring goals.

And about Liverpool I think you are right. We still cannot make a more definite assessment of this team before this team actually faces other strong teams. Liverpool has faced Man Utd this season but we know that Man Utd this season is in quite poor condition. So it still cannot be considered a strong team on par with Liverpool, Arsenal or Man City. It looks like we have to wait until Liverpool gets a stronger opponent than their previous opponents.

Indeed the English Premier League is very competitive unlike some leagues that are farmers leagues. On several occasions we have seen more than two teams competing for the EPL trophy. If you look at the league table this now you will see the tight spacing between the first 5 clubs. Chelsea and Aston Villa had the chance to close up the gap between 4th position and the top three but drew taking home one point each.
