You are right. Liverpool's performance was not good last season. However, the Liverpool team is able to consistently perform well in every match of this season. And the top spot in the table is now occupied by Liverpool. Liverpool's defense has been very strong this season. Liverpool conceded only 2 goals in 7 matches.

Assuming their positions and point gap on the table is when the league is left with 10 matches, it would have been more challenging than now. It is a good start for these three clubs currently for the title race because whoever loses more than one match might fall very low on the table since most clubs are very active.

Manchester City might not be previledged to take over any club that is on top towards the end of the season because they have learnt their lessons and will be more careful at that time. If Manchester City is able to repeat same thing this season, then EPL is not the same again.

I'm familiar with Manchester City matches, those guys know what they are doing, that's their winning strategy which has help them win the Premier League 4 times in a row. While teams are struggling to maintain the place at the table, they don't do that instead they look forward to how they are going to give huge gaps with the rest of the team on the table, they make sure to always bounce back in any game even when the odds in not in their favour.

Every team on the table now looks more energize and strong for now, so I don't think there is going to be any big gab between the top 4 but watch closely after the second leg when we probably have 3-4 months left for the league to finish, that's when you will see teams making loses when you expect them to do much and keep to the way they played from the beginning, that's when I stake more Manchester City matches because of the assurance of winning.

On the other hand, Aston Villa under Unai Emery this season will make it difficult for their opponents, but the trophy will still be difficult to pursue.
I will not expect too much from Chelsea and Aston Villa. However, if they want to pursue 4th position at the end of the standings, they can achieve it.

I agree that Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool will be the top 3, the order is uncertain. But let’s remember, if the PL teams do well in Europe this season then top 5 will be good enough to get a CL place for next season.

But this has been happening consistently in every season Manchester City is the champion whereas Arsenal finished the season in the second position. We've seen this happen two seasons in a row.  Last season, Liverpool had a great stay at the number one position in the points table until the middle of the season, but they could not maintain their consistency from the middle of the season to the end of the season, due to which their position moved slightly down the points table. This 14th position is really embarrassing for a team like Manchester United. If the management still believes in Ten Hag after all these bad results, maybe they are not sensitive to reality. Does the management still think that Ten Hag can bring change and improve Man United's performance? It seems like it's time for the fans to shout louder for real change. As Man United fans, we can't continue to be patient with results like this and Ten Hag should indeed be fired because he has failed as a coach.

The current 14th position shows that it is indeed not in line with the expectations of the fans and also the management, ten hag who continues to get criticism is not able to bring much change in the squad even with the huge amount of money they has spent during their coaching, INEOS still continue to try to keep ten hag so far and the meeting they held yesterday I don't think makes much difference to the evaluation they did at the end of last season, in addition to still believing in Ten Hag and also giving him full authority to manage the squad, I personally am honestly not a fan of the Red Devils, but if you look at their inconsistent performance like today it will most likely be difficult for them to end the season in the European zone this season, the club management seems to still give full trust to Ten Hag until the end of the season and indeed it seems that the management does not care despite the pressure from the fans is increasing nowadays.

This is once again because they do not have a better alternative ready. I keep saying the same thing and people mock me because anyone would be better than Erik Ten Hag, but you do not move from a terrible coach to a bad one, it makes no sense when you can get a great one. And INEOS believes they could get a great coach eventually and the yare waiting for someone to be available, also accepting Manchester United job is not a desirable thing for any coach.

While it may look like it's a good job because it is one of the best teams in history, right now there is chaos and team sucks, so taking that job would be very hard for everyone and will not benefit any manager, your career may take a hit if you finish badly and with such squad and chaos at the club, it's possible to finish badly as well.

I believe we need to make sure things aren't looking this bad before they reach out to any manager. I believe they are not keeping ETH because they like him, they are keeping him until they find someone better.

Now something like that will still happen and we have seen how in the 7 weeks that have taken place in the new season we are presented with a very tight position struggle where Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal only have a 1 point gap in positions 1-3 which makes the EPL always interesting and makes this the best competition in domestic Europe so far.

I don’t think Aston Villa or Chelsea can win the Premier League this season though Chelsea might be looking like they are resurrected and scoring goals, Enzo Maresca still have so much to prove before I can believe that Chelsea is back to their glory days.

Sure. Arsenal have been a very big challenge to Manchester City for the past two seasons. I will be more satisfied when I see Liverpool in his predictions than the two clubs he mentioned but I think he says that based on the team recent performance and so far they both have the same points on the table but he forgot that Liverpool is still far ahead and stays ontop of the table even Arsenal and Manchester City have not been able to reach them but if they draw any of their matches, they will be force to drop from that place and Arsenal with City will take over.

I like Chelsea improvement than Aston Villa but they messed up their opportunity with Nottingham Forest. They let their guard down else they wouldn't have conceded any goal in that match but the defenders weren't active, they should have known what they did to Liverpool and yet they their guard down otherwise by now, they will have more points than what they have now.

Over the past few seasons, the Premier League has been so tight that the points difference between the Premier League champion and the team in second position is not always significant. Manchester City has been winning the Premier League for several seasons, but with some struggle. Even in the last two seasons, Arsenal has given Manchester City a very tough time. With the way I am observing this season, it is going to be very tough because even unexpected teams are showing improvement since the season started.That is why the points difference between these teams is no longer wide. One thing I have learned from this season is that no team should be underestimated. I’ve watched many matches and seen how these teams in the Premier League are performing, especially the average teams  they are now unpredictable.

Had all other clubs up their game against Man City the title winner would have lost last season title to Arsenal , it quite unfortunate that clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd and Tottenham were easily beaten by Man City which gave the team an upper hand, however I believe it's going to be a different ball game going by current form of the top teams like Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea though had narrowly lost to Man City in the beginning of the season and I think the present Man City isn't as formidable as those previous seasons when the team featured some best players.

Knowing fully that the premier league this season is base on competition is what will make it more exciting to watch. So even for the top 4 if Manchester city did put more force it might be so hard for them, because there are some teams that are also playing an incredible performance.

For the team that are also given us some surprising performances this season include, Chelsea, and Aston villa, we all don’t expect that from them most especially for Chelsea but just take a look at how they are play a nice performance with is more better than that of last year. This season premier league will be very amazing in the sense that we can’t underestimate any team, even Chelsea can carry the trophy.

Our mistake for not winning the Premier League was losing our home and away match to Aston Villa, like the match looks easy from the eye yet we couldn't win the two of those match and then we started to hope Manchester City to lose their own match when we couldn't leave with our own failure, we wanted other people to be like us when we know Manchester City has our their blood on the line to win last season.

Similarly, this season we are up and again and now have the same points, Liverpool are now ahead of us which is still early, this was how last season was and a tien came when we went up in the table and get dragged down again, I hope that doesn't repeat itself. If Manchester City made a mistake, Arsenal should be making wins instead else our dream of Premier League will take extra years again.

Why matters now for Liverpool is being able to be consistent in their matches, they need to continue in this great form and continue to be at the top of the table in all endeavors. If they must win the league, they must not concede many goals and should also be able to give their all in every match in order to come out victorious. They have been playing greatly well and out of most of their games, it shows that their attack and defense are doing pretty well to keep them in that position. Consistency matters in all games and for the team to be at this level, they can always be counted on for a contender for the league title.

Aston Villa under Unay Emery has good progress because they can performing stable in Champion League and Premier League and you can see it based on their position on League standing because they can reach to top 5 in Premier league and in champion league Aston Villa performance is more impressive because they can gets 2 wins at the beginning of League phase and if talking about champion candidates of Premier league i think it's too early for them and Unay Emery as a manager also said the title is not the main target of Aston Villa because he has realize it is very hard to compete with big teams just like Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool

For Chelsea actually i was underestimate this team because this summer they have weird behaviour regarding player transfer and i doubt Enzo Maresca will be able to improved Chelsea performance because at the beginning of season Chelsea condition is messed up but clearly i was wrong about that because Chelsea gradually can find their shape again and Chelsea also is very productive with scores 16 goals total in Premier league and before this season begin the owner of Chelsea has set high target for this team that they want Chelsea to compete for Champion league zone and as long as they can able to managed their consistency i think Chelsea will finish at top 4

Unai Emery has been great wherever he goes, he has been proving how great of a manager he is for a long time, and I am suspecting next job he takes will be with a great big rich club. I do not know which one, but I would say if he was at United they wouldn't be this bad, I can sense if they get him, they would be making a smart choice. But, he is young enough to wait a few more years if he wants to, proving himself to be a great head coach and eventually he will get a great result as well.

A big club like arsenal, Liverpool, city or even from another league, once again PSG, or Bayern or Real or Barcelona, these are all a possibility. I believe Unai Emery is one of the best coaches in the game right now, if not the best.

There is little chance for Chelsea or Aston Villa to win the title because Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool are the biggest favorite teams until the tight competition from these three teams that have a big chance to win the title. With Chelsea in the top four, I think it is quite a good achievement because with their own performance improvement that can make them in a ranking that is at least quite profitable. Liverpool is the team that leads the standings and of course this is quite difficult for Arsenal and Man City to win the title, they have new rivals in fighting for the title because indeed with the previous season where Liverpool was quite far behind but now they are performing well to become the team that conceded the fewest goals. There is a chance for Liverpool to win the league title as long as they can maintain their performance well in terms of defense and attack.

I don’t think Aston Villa or Chelsea can win the Premier League this season though Chelsea might be looking like they are resurrected and scoring goals, Enzo Maresca still have so much to prove before I can believe that Chelsea is back to their glory days.

Aston Villa are a good team but certainly not good enough to compete against Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal. This season, all three clubs look like title contenders. The season is still young, we will find out as the season progress which teams will be able to stand the tough fixtures and fatigue when it begins to set in.

When I say Premier League championship, Manchester City comes to my mind first, then Arsenal and Liverpool. Other teams need to prove a lot to become champions, so even if Chelsea looks good, it seems impossible right now, the same goes for Aston Villa. I respect Enzo Maresca, they have collected good points so far.

To be honest, Chelsea is much better than in previous seasons, there are many reasons for this, they made good reinforcements, the squad is very good right now.

Over the past few seasons, the Premier League has been so tight that the points difference between the Premier League champion and the team in second position is not always significant. Manchester City has been winning the Premier League for several seasons, but with some struggle. Even in the last two seasons, Arsenal has given Manchester City a very tough time. With the way I am observing this season, it is going to be very tough because even unexpected teams are showing improvement since the season started.That is why the points difference between these teams is no longer wide. One thing I have learned from this season is that no team should be underestimated. I’ve watched many matches and seen how these teams in the Premier League are performing, especially the average teams  they are now unpredictable.

Man City, which has continued to win titles in the Premier League in the last few seasons, still seems unshakable even now. Even though Liverpool is currently in first place in the standings, with a difference of 1 point above Man City, it is still quite easy for Man City to overtake them again. Unless Liverpool continues to win for the rest of this season, which is still long. Then Liverpool will be able to stop Man City's dominance which has lasted for several seasons. But in the last few seasons, it's not really Man City that has caught my attention the most. But Arsenal's development is increasingly mature from season to season. And making the competition between first and second place in several seasons very tight until the last match. For now, Liverpool is taking part in this tight competition. But my feeling is that Arsenal will be the one who makes it the most difficult for Man City again this season.
