This will be another challenging year for Arsenal to win the trophy if at all they will get to win it.

Just one game says nothing, they happen on every negative day.
This defeat is certainly not well seen and I personally consider it exaggerated, because I understand 1 goal but conceding 3 is really a lot especially from Brighton (no offense).
Arsenal did a really good job last season, but didn't all the games end well or do I remember wrong?
A game is fine, obviously if they repeat these mistakes and these days again, then we can have our say.
But I repeat, a match is not tangible as a measuring stick.

I agree with you Arsenal are a team that learns from mistakes and has a strong desire to do better in the players. Man City are playing well but I think Arsenal are a much more stable team than them. Mikel Arteta is trying to build a strong foundation in the team and like last season they are playing well this season too but maybe manager Arteta could not have predicted that Brighton would show such a great performance in yesterday's match and eventually Arsenal had to lose 3-0. Arsenal will correct their mistakes and come back stronger in the next match.

The intense match between Manchester City and Sunderland leads to a total of 8 goals scored from both sides, but I felt the match truly reveals the selfless potential of the players in both of these two teams. There are many moments in this match when the players of both teams did not choose to fire the ball towards the goalpost from their position and instead they passed the ball to their teammates in a better scoring position and thus many goals were scored.

Erling Haaland did exactly the most selfless action in Manchester City 4th goal scored by Antoine Semenyo when he quickly got out of the way for Antoine Semenyo to fire the goal past the Sunderland goalkeeper, and no wonder Erling Haaland are rated as one of the best strikers in the world with his selfless act in the frontline and also it is probably the reason why there are so many fans who like Erling Haaland.

So because Arsenal were dominated in their last game they automatically are longer favorites to win the trophy again? I think that is just what you are expecting because You would have had more hope about this your analysis being true if Arsenal had played well and then still lost the game but Arsenal played very poorly that everybody knew it and they obviously lost after a very long time of not being on the losing side. Arsenal still lost a game last season against Liverpool if I am not mistaken and they went on to win the league still. They are still very much the best team in the league, they just had one bad game.

One bad match doesn't define a team and that is where most people got it wrong. After all, there is no team that never loses a match. Games change and even players can change too, because on the pitch, they sometimes follow their gut rather than the plan. And I always say that it doesn't matter how a team starts, but how far it can go. Besides, there are many more matches they will play and they might turn things around. But until the season ends, it isn't over and people can't just jump to conclusions over one or two losses.

Manchester City fans have certainly gotten used to a cycle of unparalleled victories in recent years and it's difficult to go back to normal when you have this level every year. i have to say that i would have expected a physiological decline in the team after all these years, but no, they're always on top of things.

Truth be told I was actually thinking they will struggle this season, because of the departure of the engine room Pep, but I'm really surprised and amazed by their performance, like Pep departure actually had no effect on them, it's always the same, like I really admire that team for this, Pep has really set a good team their and that legacy will remain for ever, and here is Manchester united which has been there before, but failed to maintain it after Sir Alex's departure, hmm I'm really enjoying this City team.

There's nothing like it's too early to judge Michael Carrick, Michael Carrick has just shown his true colour this season, and even though Manchester United management decide not to sack him he won't perform better than what we have seen already, had the been I'm not a Manchester United fan I would have said that he shouldn't be sacked so you could see for yourself how he would perform after Manchester United has played the number of matches you believe is enough to judge his performance. No one is putting pressure on Michael Carrick, he's the one putting pressure on himself since he couldn't deliver excellent results for Manchester United.

you're really a Manchester United fan that's why you are advocating for his sack, I understand what you mean. Manchester United has been a club that I admire, seeing them struggling every season in this past Ferguson era can be depressing. Everybody wants results and in looking for these results, different players and coaches has been tried out yet nothing is working. Let's assume his sacked now, who do you suggest takes his place that will be able to effect the changes at Manchester United. Many coaches has been brought in and sacked in these years and non has been able to win the league or remain constant in winning, who will replace him. I think the club should still give him time to continue, Arsenal were patient with Areta and they are seeing results now.

I know it's really surprising to see Arsenal lose with such margin and without even scoring a goal, so I understand why a lot of people are acting that way. Arsenal is a very good team, but we should not act as if they can't be beaten. I think I like that they lost the match against Brighton,  because I think it happened at the right time, so thus should be a motivation to them and also make them realize that they are beatable. I still see them as the favorite for the title, because I still believe they are the best and strongest team in the league.

I don’t really think people were surprised because Arsenal lost against Brighton, it’s suprise to lose a match, you don’t expect a team to win all their matches, but what surprises most people is the number of goals that they conceded in the match, nobody expected Brighton to score 3 goals in the match, and the funniest part was that Arsenal couldn’t even get a goal in the match, it’s really a bad one for a team like Arsenal.

Arsenal's defeat has basically proved one thing that any team that is favored because of its good performance and squad depth can also still lose when the opponent is better able to take advantage of opportunities. As long as Arsenal don't panic and don't rely on the performance of their rivals, then I think they can still be expected to do better. It's still early season with 5 games, so there's still plenty of drama to look forward to throughout the season.

So far I think Arsenal are one of the strongest candidates to win the Premier League this season. Manchester City looked convincing with 5 wins at the start of the season, but their performance is still a big question given the depth of the squad is not better than Arsenal. I still vote for Manchester City as the favorites of the championship, but with greater doubts.

Having a great squad can make the changing of a coach not to affect the club performance , city has been able to win five straight matches under this new manager, because the players already understand how the club works and they don't need to make much adjustments. However, it will be wrong for anyone to think that Manchester city can't lose any match, because as long as football is concerned anything is possible. I believe Enzo Maresca definitely needs sometimes to prove his worth and this may take some time.  If the team continues in this form then they stand a better chance of winning premier League this season and even competing for the champions league trophy. This will definitely be a great start for Enzo Maresca, more than what most people expected.

The Manchester City team aren’t the same as that of the one pep guardiola used in his successful years the current team aside majorly the defense were actually players from last season he bought. But the major upgrade came this season and I need to give credit to Manchester City board because after losing the likes of Rodri, Bernardo Silva and all those first team players they signed replacements which were excellent or of great quality.

The likes of Ndiaye, Enzo Fernandez, Elliot Anderson and Bouyyadi, all this were excellent players and they managed to get them in one window so they deserve credit too. As for Enzo Maresca he actually understands Pep Guardiola pattern and also Manchester city as a whole because he was Pep’s assistant and that’s where he got the experience and I think that paid off for him. Let’s see how this goes for him
