I think it is actually still too early to hand anyone the title although Man City have started this season strongly and deserve credit, but the season still has a long way to go and Arsenal is also looking like a serious contender so I think the main thing will be who stay consistency when injuries and pressure start coming in and yes they have 5 wins is and it’s actually good start, but it has not guarantee anything yet.

5 matches out of 38 matches to be played is really a long period of time and within this period of time a team we least expect can even wake up and become a pain in the ass to every single premier league  team and this do happen sometimes so i won't be surprise. Manchester city is doing great no doubt but somehow i believe Arsenal pattern of playing this period than that of Manchester city but i am not saying Manchester city is not strong or good because if they are not..., there last game was very tough and they would not have won the game.

The lost against Brighton wasn't any form of understimation from Gunners, the goals conceded were proof, rather than saying Brighton was underestimated, it would be better stated that Brighton found Gunners weakness in that game and capitalise effectively to steal all three points.

I'm not even speaking of the fact that no top team would want to take Brighton casually.

Brighton was simply tactically better and superior. They came to war and they didn't come to just war but also win the war against Arsenal. That consistent high pressing and pressure we saw them using against Manchester United was the same thing they did against Arsenal. Arsenal were just tactically blunt when attacking so they couldn't get a single goal out from that game even with the trio of Bruno Guimaraes, Declan Rice and club captain Odegaard starting. I believe the same thing will not repeat itself during the second leg. Last I saw a win from Brighton against Arsenal was when they still had Graham Potter as manager. This lose was quite intriguing.

They actually did not expect it, but another thing is that they would have known by now that when it comes to playing against an opponent, the number one rule should be that you don't underestimate your opponent, and Brighton understood Arsenal, and that is why they were able to defeat them, and Arteta failed in that game, and I know that they would have made adjustments for such not to happen again. No one underestimated anyone on that game, they all went all out on that game, bearing in mind that they are going there for the three points, so if by mistake Arsenal lost its not enough reason one should come up with an excuse of Arsenal underestimated Brighton, what they should focus on right now is how to correct this mistake, because if it still repeat itself and continue then I can tell Arsenal will have themselves to blame, because the battle ahead is fierce, so they really need to get over this lost and plan for a better days.

Few minutes before the match ended I saw him writing some stuffs on paper I bet he could be adjusting some things, at the end of the day its not about who loses now, it's how long can a team say up the table or get there up before the season gets to an end, and with the actions I'm seeing Arteta make I could say that he has a good chance.

Enzo Maresca is the man for the job and he has replaced Pep Guardiola as his successor. Manchester City are on streak winning and they're conquering the English premier League this season with unbeaten run. City just have to maintain consistency this season because that's one of the way to stay up heighten and strong. Manchester City will not flop this season if that's what we're all expecting from them, they have new players that will strengthen the performance of the club this season, they're gradually making thigns better for themselves.

There was nothing Arsenal could do in that match, they were already outclassed by Brighton and there was nothing left to be done after conceding the first two goals early that period. Brighton have been playing very great and I feel that this season will be a better  season for them as compared to the past ones. They just need to maintain a consistent game and pace this season. Arteta is still eyeing the league title and I think that he will not give up and this will not make him feel retarded in the pursuit. Arsenal did well in that game but Brighton did better and that was why they had the win over Arsenal despite their own performance in the game too.

Only 5 matches have done and most of the matches still left, it would be unfair to attach the trophy title to anyone's name right now. Finishing 30 matches will also be difficult to say who will hold the title. But if we consider previous history, consistency and statistics, we can get some idea of ​​who could be ahead in the race to win the trophy. I still feel like Enzo Maresca and his Manchester City side have not been properly tested in the Premier League. I know the premier league is tough and competitive even while competing against lesser teams but the time have not come for City, they’ve not faced those teams that challenges them, only United for now who are not in a good form themselves.

I’m amongst those that support that he’ll do well at Manchester City but let me give him more time to prove himself further, definitely Arsenal is still a contender but it’s yet to be seen if Liverpool, Chelsea or Man United will be part of that title race.

Brighton gave Arsenal a lesson in soccer. The Arsenal players had started acting too cocky, but they were brought back down to earth they were terrible. Brighton’s athleticism is top notch, and Arsenal looked sluggish in comparison. Arteta revamped the team last season they won the championship but they’ve reverted to their old ways. It’s the same old Arsenal again. Brighton had drawn with Leeds and failed to beat Chelsea, so I was expecting them to settle for a draw against Arsenal, but they pulled off a surprise victory. It looks like they’ll be giving the top teams a run for their money this season.

So far, what Enzo has achieved with City is quite impressive; they have managed to win all their matches, which is a good start. But this is still the beginning, the season is still ongoing, and there may be more to come. Maintaining consistency is important because although their performance is quite impressive, there are still shortcomings in their defense and wing lines that are not yet optimal. Enzo's job is to address these issues, and there is still time to fix them because even though they are at the top, Arsenal is still quite favored to win the Premier League --- if they want to compete with Arsenal, then they need to improve.

However, Manchester united are not reliable for a bit, they might lose today,draw tomorrow or lose the next match,we cannot rely on them for consistency as they have proven not to be reliable. they can't maintain a for four matches winning streak without losing or draw,carrick need to patch up the team if not,they may not qualify for the champions league next season.

The should look inward their major challenge might be beyond managerial roles. Since sir Ferguson left Man U had appointed 11 coaches and all have had their difficulties. It's best the board try another approach other than sacking coaches every season. Carrick has potentials and I believe there are restraints that he is struggling to manage that has keeping the team down at the moment.

I absolutely agree with you on this point of view, because United have had multiple changes of managers in recent years without ever bringing the desired results, even with excellent quality managers. This represents a problem that is perhaps not only linked to the bench. In fact, i believe that society must find a more correct path to take and follow it.

Enzo Maresca has had a really good start at Manchester City and I am optimistic about the team's current performance. Even as a new coach, the start must be positive. But I probably wouldn't call him Pep Guardiola's direct successor right now. It's only been a few matches, it will take more time for something good to come out.

Moreover, Guardiola has not only won matches, he has also created a complete football structure at Manchester City. His influence on everything was on a different level. Maintaining the same standards throughout the season in the future may be a difficult test for Maresca.

Am sure of that. Arteta will certainly do something, but it lies more on the performance of the players, because they played really poor in that game  against Brighton. I can't remember Arsenal loosing a match in such a high margin, and I expect them to feel bad about it, thereby making them put in more efforts in there upcoming matches. They can't afford to loose anymore match sooner, else, city will increase the gap and and go there way up the top.

For Mikel Arteta, he has some tactics to practicalise to see it's workability. If he fails to restore the team into there normal winning ways, they the morale will begin to decline. But I believe he will do better, because he has proven himself as a good coach.

It was obvious what Maresca lacked at Chelsea was a good squad, Chelsea squad was very weak, so we need not be surprised he's doing wonders with the City squad and they're dominating. It is too early to make title predictions, but the EPL title defense would be harder for Arsenal with Manchester city having such a good start. We can remember vividly that Arsenal got the advantage of a City starting poorly last season, we shall see how well they defend this title when city is in good form from the very start.

Now we have Manchester United acting some how like Chelsea, appointing and waiting for at least 3 months before sacking the manager. Like you said changing managers won't change anything and that's true but look at the way the club is, is like they can't face tough challenges. Like last season they only had 2 competitions or should I say the EPL games and they did pretty well and the fans loved the way they approach the season till the very end but now they have more games to play and we haven't gone far into this campaign and they are complaining, it only shows that the manager has never been the problem, the club doesn't have that fighting spirit, they are not ready, the management are also playing a part in this weakness of the club because you can't tell me that after spending money in the past 3 seasons or more but couldn't find a way to get back on their feet, still struggling till today even after changing managers, the club need everything to be changed especially the owners.

Even at 20 matches being played, i can't still beat my chest that this particular team will definitely lift up the premier League trophy and even those clubs below the top seems given upon themselves of still competing for the champion, at least the battle and struggling will still exist between clubs that falls from first position to fourth position, so seeing the 5 matches results that was played for the passed weeks doesn't still guarantee or justify any club that is topping the league now, that they will still be topping the league for the next 15 weeks, so for that we should watch closely because I'm suspecting a great competition within  clubs.
