I use them to exchange some shitcoins to Ethereum so I can sell that and get my profit. It is thus useful for me, but might not be for you. Depends on what your objective is.

I'm looking to find out how it works

How I do it is,

I keep a metamask wallet extension on my browser, send the tokens to that wallet with some ethereum for gas. There are of course other wallet options listed on their front page.

Now I open the uniswap page and load the token on the interface and select the output token/ethereum.
After this it is pretty self-explainatory, accept everything being shown on metamask and wait for the transaction to be sent. Check the wallet address on etherscan to confirm that exchange was done and thats it.

There might be some guides/youtube videos for this simple thing, so check them before you proceed. Be careful of phishing sites though.

I will advise you to use the uniswap through metamask but you'll also need to add the ERC2.0 token before it can be visible in your wallet and below are what you need to do.
Open the Metamask through expand view
Click on the "add token" button
Choose "custom token" menu
Copy and paste the token "smart contract address". It will automatically load the token ticker and decimal number.
Click the "add token" button and your token will be visible.

On Uniswap you can't find the signup button, you must prepare your wallet like Metamask, Walletconnect, Coinbase wallet, etc to connect into Uniswap application.

Yes, you can.
I will tell you what I have advised some people.
1) If you want to choose Defi check if the project smart contract is audited
2) listed on a good liquidity exchange site either which could help the token surge in price.
3) Register an account on Capital market select the token as your watchlist so that Cmc will send you some new update about the token and also join their telegram or other social media account so you wont miss new update cause Defi projects have good opportunity and risk either.
I also bought YFI when it was $13K and sold 75% when it $35K in case a situation happens.

Defi being listed on Uniswap or Binance doesn't mean it genuine, dont you notice that 97% of all Defi project dont provide information about their team? Even Cz Binance advised investors not to invest in Defi because it was listed on Binance due to the pitfall involved.

uniswap usage is very easy it is decentralized crytpo exchange. If you know how to use matamask then you can use uniswap too because it needs metamask to connect you wallet if you want to buy any token from uniswap you should connect eth wallet 1st then you can trade with some gas fee. Always use correct url never apply suspicious link otherwise you could lose your funds.

If you don't know how to use uniswap you can search on youtube there are many tutorials regarding

Other than metamask you can use your Imtoken or Trust Wallet in your mobile app I use those two when using Uniswap just a few clicks and you're good to go but make sure you're connecting to the right site to avoid being scammed.

If you're joining because some twitter account or telegram group says that it has guaranteed 2x-1000x be careful because it's manipulated and it's not guaranteed, Uniswap have full of shitcoin and Defi hypecoins but I know several people who gained profit through that app it's your choice, but also consider the unreasonable gas fee when trading in Uniswap.

never tried this one But he has been resounding since the defi project became popular and this exchange is mostly use now by many new defi project . I don't know if its good exchange but when I visit it is just a normal dex but with an ability to see value of each tokens once you search it.

You can look at the experience that was said above. It's like the partner of defis for you to exchange it but as said, it's not all of them are defi tokens.
Some altcoins can also be found on them. My preference is also with the traditional exchange that I used, I have never used any Uniswap so far.

Defi is so popular right now and I can say that they are doing a amazing job for being the best defi exchange, imagine they've got a billions of volume of the market and provably they will earn more when things goes right as based on their plan. But let's erase those hyping things around since I still understand you since we still need to be careful since they don't run for a long time and might bad swings hit and we should prepare for something worse if that time came.
