There is serious discussion happening to try and make a Pacquiao vs. McGregor fight.

I also see the articles about confirmation from Manny Pacquiao that he will fight McGregor in the next year here. It can be an epic match between the two, of course.
What makes interesting is that some part of the proceeds will be donated to the victims of coronavirus in Philippines. This is a good thing I see to help the victims.
Who are here curious about the result? Both are good players and they have been ever winner. So, it will really be an epic fight.

I remembered about the fight between McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov that also brought very hot news because of some problems happening before, during the fight, and also after fights. But here, I don't want to talk more about it. Just expect that the next fight between Pacquiao vs. McGregor fight will be really fair and no big problem there.

So, who is your favourite bet? Who do you think will win the fight? I can't guess it because they have their own strength and weakness. In this case, it may be betting for this next year. let's wait for the fight.

I have searched for some confirmation and it's the office of Manny Pacquiao that has confirmed this fight but, from MP himself he hasn't said any word.

I just see another the same match that Conor did before with Mayweather. But if the camp of MP has confirmed this to happen, we just have to wait from the official announcement of his manager or campaigner as they're the one fixing his upcoming matches.

Okay, I'll give credits to this one. Since the match can be able to help to ease the burden of the virus here in our country, I'll be glad for this to happen. However, I still can't get rid off my mind why Conor keep on doing unnecessary things like this. Like wth, he is an MMA fighter thus he should fight inside the octagon and not the boxing ring. IMO, if he really wants publicity and exposure then he should do it the right way.

Pacquiao definitely. All the advantage is on him. Conor can match him for 2 to 4 rounds but for sure he will be out of gas in the middle and late rounds like what happened to him last time against Mayweather .

If only McGregor will train hard to have a better stamina and better play style in boxing he will surely be as good as those top caliber boxers. Fight style is different from MMA it is actually hard for McGregor to step out of the octagon and fight in another ring with different nature. McGregor with proper training will surely have an edge against Pacquiao.

Do you have any clue what it takes to be a top boxer?  You can't just say oh he is good at mma, with a little training he will be a top boxer.  This is for pure entertainment and money thats it.  It won't be competitive in the least bit.  The odds should be 50-1 in favor of Pacquiao and if it goes past the first round it should be 100-1 from there on out.  MMA is a COMPLETELY different sport.

It will never be an epic match. It is going to be a funny match. It is pure and literal entertainment; it is not even sports. It is going to be a huge joke. What happens inside the ring when the two fighters meet is slapstick comedy.

McGregor with 0-1 in boxing against the man who has made the boxing record of having the most world titles in different weight divisions? You cannot make the two meet, not in the name of boxing at least, not in the name of sports either.

But you can make that happen in the name of money and entertainment. This match should not even be sanctioned by any boxing body.

+1. Gambling on this fight is extremely risky for Conor McGregor for me for the overall winner. Odds is extremely not worth it.
Maybe there are some entries or categories to bet on within the fight, like is there any knockouts happens on Manny Pacquiao or Conor McGregor.
I am excited to see some odds on cryptocurrency sportsbook soon. Maybe we can start to bet before the 2020 ends.

This is just pure speculation as of now, specially the news come from Conor's camp. So for now we have to wait and see. If things get finalized then that's the time we can have a 'serious' conversation. And I can't believed that Manny Pacquiao is willing to take this fight though, this is exhibition match. Can Conor go to 147 lbs?

Indeed it is pure speculation but if this speculation caters lots of interest and each camp see a huge profit on this, this fight might happen.  And if the fight happens, I think Conor has a little chance of winning (we have seen it on his previous boxing fight).

Yeah I agree, MMA experience is far from boxing experience.  Training, yes it can help but experience will give a huge difference.

This is true, Manny Pacquiao confirmed that he is going to fight with Conor McGregor next year it is all because he wanted to help the filipino citizen, the money that he may received from the fight will be donated for all the filipino who are affected by the pandemic virus. Well, that is right. Something like Pacman lower his standard on boxing, I don't know if Mcgregor will reach the 12 rounds if he will not knockout earlier as perhaps other previous opponents by  Pacman. Perhaps, thi is all about money, Mcgregor can still have his prize even he is loss againts Manny Pacquiao. It is clear as in a crystal clear that the opponent of Pacman will not wil and hist nothing compared to PACMAN a Filipino boxer. It is nice to see this fight on how can Mcgregor defend the PACMAN punches, he will surely regret on this. However, back to the PACMAN's proposal, it seems touching my heart, good people like this will always have a bless. I really like his proposal on this fight.

Its not that he's lowering his pride yet it would really be forgiven or would be understand for his fans that he would do this fight even though its clear that he would really win this one and just for the sake of helping
then i cant really make any complaints or criticisms.

For people who do said that this is still a rumor then its not because there are already some negotiations between camps and it is confirmed and its been mentioned that the fight might happen on Middle East in early 2021
which isnt really that far off on todays date.

I know Manny and his game with every strong opponent he will face but I think it is better for Pacquiao to fight other professional boxers now and let this plan be his final match if he decides to hang the gloves, or maybe other rematches to prove that he's the best boxer of this generation.

Yes it was only said first by Manny's assistant as been also said in news. So it's really confirmed and He will do it for helping in needs due to Pandemic, portion of his winning will go for helping many. Hopefully He will really win, not just because of his good heart for other but because he still deserves to win despite his age, he's still strong and fast.

I supported this guy many times and I know he can make it again this time, he always fight for the Filipino and I hope that this is just a fight nothing more political agenda since the election is coming. The purpose is noble if it is, but like I said, I won't be betting on this fight. I admire Manny as he has always been helping the poor, it's understood he came from being poor and now very rich and successful not only in the world of boxing but in businesses, and even in politics, he live a perfect life but what makes him happy is to help the poor ,if this is the way, then be it.

I know this will be a big night, and a big seller for the fans. However, I'd just like to see Conor actually get back into the UFC, and start earning his way back to a title shot. I'm not a fan of these boxing crossovers, since someone of Conor's quality, and persona should be fighting for titles, and not these white collar boxing events. I do think this will be a good fight, and ultimately Pacquiao will come out on top. Although, I'm hoping Conor, and Dana sort out their issues, and get Connor back in contention for the title within a few years.

I do doubt it though, I believe Conor thinks he deserves big money for the once big name he was. Don't get me wrong hes still a massive name inside UFC, but he was taken apart in his last but one fight against Khabib, and against Cerrone it was too short lived to really get an idea of whether he can return back to the big names.
