Predict the bitcoin price range as we enter the New Year

You've put this poll in September, which is usually not a great month for the price.
And the deadline is in a month. A lot of things can happen in a month and those voting then may have a completely different perspective.

I voted $16,001 - $18,000 and I hope it's not too low. And I'll tell you why.
Previously the "MtGox ATH" was around 1200$ I think (+/-100$). Then year 2017 started with some 1000-1100$ price.
Since I expect 2021 be somewhat similar to 2017... I guess it could start with a price preeeety close to the previous/current ATH.

i am semi Bullish this time so i choose to vote in $14,000-$16,000 since we have already touched $12k couple times ago so why not pray for more than high?

for 2 years we have been denied in achieving high value for Bitcoin but now since halving had just in effect?no doubt that we will reach another High from 2018 this year end.

I'm not seeing the price going below 5 digits, on the contrary, we might see a new highs, probably in the range of $14k at the end of the year. There's a lot of indicators that we are somewhat in a sort of mini bull run, in the last leg of this year, we might see this bullishness specially approaching December.

So I would say $12k and up. Although there is still the looming financial crisis because of the pandemic, but people, just not in crypto, are starting to see the benefits of bitcoin as an asset. And we seen the during December, the price seems to have a good run. So with that said, my vote is:  $12,001 - $14,000.

Same pick. The price of bitcoin generally surge at the end of the year and since it is stable for a long time around $10.5k then definitely +$12k is very possible in December-January.

we are still in September though this is the start of the ber month and we are about to end it but for me I feel very special about the month of October and onwards  .

Whales are creating the bull run but accumulating can be a part of their business too . they can start now , 2 months of accumulating means a lot  and then they can start the bull show the whole of moth of December .  that would be nice but before I forgot , I'm voting 16k to 18k on the poll .

With just a few months to go before the curtain of 2020 will close, I'm not expecting any big changes, either a "sudden leap" or "unexpected fall" in the bitcoin price this year.

So for my pick, I will choose the range between $10,000 - $12,000.

the closes figure to predict is 12,000 - 14,000 so I go with this number since we can't expect something great to be happen by this year since there are so many bad events happened in the world and it affect all including investments as well the financial capacity of each person globally. But I'm looking forward to see some great changes and still hopeful for the best figures to come.

yes, just be conservative with estimates as you may depend your decision on this and how you manage your portfolio. we really cant expect much with the current situation. lets hope that the economy of most governments will slowly go back.
 how btc performed amidst this pandemic is already wonderful. so yeah, dont expect high prices at the end of the year.

The market is still on a good position and bitcoin is still holding on to its price beyond $10k and I think the price can range to $14,000 - $16,000 as we welcome the new year and a new hope for everyone. Bitcoin was able to pump good prices this year despite of the pandemic, I know bitcoin will do it again that’s why I’m holding more now for me not to miss the chance.

Right now no one can predict about bitcoin price in new year but as we are progressing most chance we are going to have $14000 to $16000 range as its really good price for this in near year if something very bad not happend then surely we will touch this or can go above this as well.

Even though doing this is almost impossible due to the type of volatility you can see in BTC but still not going by the emotions and going merely by the state of market I agree with you that something around $13k-15k could be a possibly good range around which BTC could hover. Even though everyone from inside wants it to be much higher. LOL but I think the economic condtions are not really going to be great in upcoming months.

Can you please help me out by some numbers as to how can you conclude that whales are accumulating? I have been hearing this accumulation point for an year now. I don't know if these whales are going to accumulate whole 21 Million BTC or what? LOL. please help me with some volume comparisons or something significant. A mere price dip generally can't be considered as a solid proof of accumulation.

my prediction might be between $ 14K- $ 16K or to be precise not far from $ 15K. but it could also be wrong if you see the movement of bitcoin that continues to penetrate $ 12K and has not managed to go up yet, this indicates that indeed the time might happen at the end of the year because now is still quite a long time.

i believe that the Pandemic will be out of talks before the end of this year so with that,i think the price at the end of the year will be ranging

seems like there are only 3 of us who believes that Bitcoin can reach $16-18k before the year ends.
But i am not losing hope since i need to sell out this year for emergency purpose so My prayers is Bitcoin needs to earn more value until December this year.

I've voted for 18k to 20k in upcoming month of December.
 We are steady for so long at $10k, it's either way that it will gonna boomed until $18k before this year ends or will dump as $5k just like last time. Well, hoping for that high price though. Been holding for so long, it's time to fill the bag with some profits

I was thinking about this some more. My guess earlier didn't give much weight to the multi-year triangle scenario, which I still think is a good possibility:

Wave E should be a zig zag (orange) or contracting triangle (green).

The green squiggle puts us in the $10,000s around New Year. The orange squiggle would put us closer to $8,000.

Maybe I don't know how to predict the bitcoin price range, but I guess that the price will be around $14,001 - $16,000. But we know how strong bitcoin will be if the support comes to the market. That can lift the price to the so high price, and once it happens, the price will start the rally, and we know what will happens later. The price will be jumping and breaking every barrier of the high price, and at that time, bitcoin will surprise us.

I voted 16000-18000$ price of bitcoin before the year ends. I feel that  the real bull run will happen on the last quarter of 2021-2022 thats what makes me to buy and hodl for atleast a year.
