Predict the bitcoin price range as we enter the New Year

I voted $16-18K But I think it would be around $14-17K range before we enter the New Year if the price continue to grow like how it has been lately.
I am bit skeptic since we are talking about Bitcoin price and most of the time it could easily switch it's path instead of going up it could drop down.
So I think it could be around $10-12K or $14-17K range before New Year.

Drop is inevitable and this had been always the nature of Bitcoin or the entire crypto market where it can changed up on least expected.
We might be seeing some prince increase or rally but doesnt mean that it will continue to rise into those levels where most people do anticipate after all the years
we've been here on this market.New years approaching or we do already had 2 months left before this year ends.We are on 13k price level and somewhat
stagnant at the moment. Next move? No one knows because neither it would go head back again in 10k  or lower.This market is always been unpredictable
thats why its hard to make out some conclusions.

^ Interestingly, probably you were right that bitcoin will hit the price of $14k. We are now on $13k plus range and it seems just a little bit and you will hit the exact prediction. But sorry, I am much more optimistic than you. Bitcoin price will become $20k at the end of the year at it will continue until the new year in the next year. If you will listen to the news, most likely it is positive since last month and I think this could be the reason bitcoin will continue growing. Paypal announcement and the halving effect could be the most reason and the US election will probably also boost the price.
Nevertheless, I will choose the prediction between the range of $20k up to the moon.

People who saw the last spike will want to get in on the action and are sick of low savings rates on offer with mainstream banks. The price prediction doesn't looks to be conservative, as per my understanding about the market $12001 - $14000 seems to be realistic prediction. The price barrier of $13000 getting stronger without much fluctuations taking place. Anyhow the price should not fall back by the new year which is the expectation of me.

I would guess pullback towards year end is quite reasonable but what would I know anyhow, more important is the price action is not giving much clue of weakness.   Even with wider markets quite negative for this moment and dollar rising, I think BTC fairs some choppy waves quite well.



So a pullback but only within the higher range post breakout, its not even got to 12700 or so which is the rough support.    Would have to presume theres some underlying buying or strength in the price, just paypal news doesnt cover it because thats more a future effect then actual revenue now.   Speculation is always subject to reversal yet we're mostly up and remain.   Lets see if dollar can break range up, that'll be proper pressure.

Yeah, the price would not just keeping moving upwards as a correction might happen anytime soon and the 12-14k seems like a bullseye prediction in all honesty because after every hike there happens a correction usually and then stabilization on that price for sometime and if that trend continues then 12-14k is the best possible prediction and I feel awkward for thinking 10-12k as I am damn sure that the price won't drop below 12k for sure this year if ever it does.

I am happy though being proven wrong because we all hold bitcoins and so do I, which means the value for my faith in holding bitcoins has finally started to pay off and I am one of those guys who sweated hard in March when BTC market was shaken to roots but despite sweating and having sleepless nights I never sold my coins.

We will meet the new year soon, of course the resolution in 2020 if it hasn't been reached doesn't seem perfect to end this year,
and of course in the crypto currency community the resolution is the price of Bitcoin can reach an All time high at the end of this year,
my prediction seems to be Bitcoin will try to $ 15000, if successful then we will see a new ATH.

Considering the current moving average of the bitcoin market, recent news from PayPal and many institutional investors purchasing bitcoin, lead the current price to over $13,000. Calculating the trend direction, possibly to reach $15K by the end of the year, probably within $14,800 - $15,000. a lot of things can happen in 2 months as we know bitcoin price 2 months ago was $11,500, an increase of 12%, the price of bitcoin in 100 days increase 40.54%, and 200 days increase 56.6%

Yeah true, the poll results were influenced late by the price surge we saw lately. The 16-18k slab was looking like not many people believed in it but now we see some healthy number of votes on it.

Not your fault because we all thought that range was the best possible option but the late surge has changed the mindset for everyone including me because now it seems like what was looking hopeful earlier is now realistic and within range.

Bitcoin market is so funny and when price drops I saw so many articles talking negative but as the price now rises everyone is pep talking about the price. I loved the poll you created because 100+ votes gave a fair estimation of the market expectations.

However bitcoin already peaked over 13k, so it is already on that level that you guys guessed, I said 14k to 16k one and I am still behind it as well, I think it will go that level before the year ends and maybe even more but 14-16k range sounds reasonable. Price could have gone from 10.5k levels to 8k as well, nobody could have guaranteed this hype, paypal helped with that a bit as well, so we are all right as long as we said it would go up.

When the time we had make out such predictions then it would be worth if we had make out some step or act as well to buy while its still cheap.I had read up this thread
since from the beginning and honestly even earlier i did really make out some purchase and did really make out some profit on shortest time as possible.This is should how
people will really make out some active trades in shorter time frame rather than on going for futures but well its a choice though.No one can really predict out on what
would be the price in next minute but 14-16k sounds realistic for this year end basing of on the movement we had until now but to think that dumps can happen either way.

I think it's likely to be in the $15,000 to $20,000 range. It's hard to get more specific than that but with Covid surging in many developed countries around the world and stock markets falling again, there might be a bit of a peak as people are looking for new assets to buy. Digital currency seems like a great place to diversify into at the moment and allows people to move money across borders with minimal oversight from governments who might want to take a chunk of it.

I'm looking at $12,000 - $14,000 by next year. This because next year is predicted as bull year. So just as bitcoin was locking around $10,000 since three months ago, this can happen in January 2021 in the range of $12,000 to $14,000 above. We know we hear less of covid-19 in 2021.

I think sentiment isn't great but the 10k is a fairly solid looking floor. Some upwards movement seems do able.

I supported the chart illustration because the market momentum in the next few weeks is yet to certain because the current suddenly uptrend was caused by PayPal cryptocurrency implementation announcement and the arbitrage seems idle these days due to the state of the Bitcoin transaction network while market downtrend is usually expected during the first week of every new year.

I'm feeling real bullish on the market right now.  Didn't think we'd see 13-14k until the end of the year but as we've crossed quickly into this range I can see new years being in the $16k-18k.  Bitcoin bulls happen fast and swift.

Everyone talked about how it will go up but I want to ask one more thing that may change everyone's opinion and what could potentially happen.

On December 17th of 2017 bitcoin price reached $20k and that has been considered all time high of bitcoin, sure few hundred dollars less or more in some exchanges but we just simply say $20k, this was on 17th of December. Have you ever checked what the price was while we entered 2018? It was already around $15-16k range and dropped from that $20k high level, a week later? It was $14k and we all know how horrible 2018 went with as well.

So, what I want to ask, even if you think that bitcoin will go up soon, do you think it could start the fall before 2021 starts? Or on early days of 2021? I do not doubt price going up but I don't know when will it start going down.
