People like that will select the team that has the opportunity to win the games, and they don't just think about if their favorite team can win or not because their favorite team can have a chance to lose.

I guess it is a fair opinion because sometimes our idol team can against a strong team, which the idol team doesn't have a chance to win. In that case, we must research to know how big the percentage our idol team can win, and if the idol team doesn't have a big chance to win, we don't have to select it. Well, I don't think it's a good idea to totally depend on man-made devices for weather prediction. Whenever we bet on sports, we should not consider our favorite team especially if we know that they have a disadvantage with the other team, if you really want to win in betting you should think wise, it is not because you like the team then you will be on their side because if that is the case then you may probably lose your money. Very true, "When doubt, don't bet".. I experience that and all I can share is a bad experience as when your emotion dictates you, you tend to make a bad decision, maybe for some gamblers, it's hard to pass, they like to always be in action in betting.

I don't support any team but I always favor a particular team or player when I make bets. I was watching UFC recently and while I don't have any interest in any UFC fights at all but because I was making bets I was favoring the fighters based on my bets, I feel so professional because I don't have any interest in any fighter winning but because I have a bet on them I am wishing them to win.

When at rare time a sport I follow and my team/play are playing then I just avoid betting because no matter how strict I try to be, I will be making bad bets on my team and would end up loosing more than usual.
