I don't rekomend EtherDelta/ForkDelta, they just waste your fee and not every ERC20 Token always sold after listed in there.
Better you check your token in market first by search in CMC and CoinGecko.

Etherdelta and ForkDelta still work. I use both exchanges a lot and it really helps me to sell dead tokens. I only recommend filling a buy order or a sell order so that the transaction is completed faster, etherdelta visitors are not as busy as the Centralized Exchange. By buying or selling at market or instant prices, you can quickly complete the transaction

Just like what the tittle say Where can I sell ERC20 coins? like etherdelta back on the days. It's been years since I last sell some coins so I forgot the sites where I sold them. Just want to ask if there are still good sites to sell ERC20 coins like etherdelta. TIA

Way back 2017-2018 I used IDEX, Etherdelta, Forkdelta in buying and selling erc20 tokens but they are a bit risky that is why I also used Mycelium and Coinomi because they supports erc20 tokens specially in converting tokens into Bitcoin or some altcoins you want. But before doing something like buying and selling altcoins in Coinomi and Mycelium the first thing you are going to do is to check if the token you are going to buy or sell is on their list. For me it is convenient using these two and I have never experienced any problems with them either.

For easily to know with your erc20 assets where is the market you can track on history of transaction contract your coin, before checking where is the exchange market you must check the contract address transaction will show there where are many people sell this coin, when you opening on etherscan or ethplorer site you can see where is the market of your coin, but it not show with market exchange you can open with contract address on forkdelta with not good price maybe. I think if have good and potential coin do you have easy to get an exchange market listing and sell it.

Right now uniswap or any other decentalised exchange like idex (although it's not completely dex) would be the best way to go about. But with any DEX there is also a risk of fake coins with similar names circulating.

You mentioned the recognised DEX exchange, so if bit risky it safe to buy from there except other exchange .I use IDEX and still i didn't face any scam yet .

Most new tokens aren't listed yet to any exchanges and so there is no sense searching it on the coinmarket site because it surely you can't find it there. Usually, it happens that developers announcing it to the investors and traders what exchanges got listed. That is why we need to join their telegram group to keep updated.

ERC 20 tokens? The simple answer is, on any exchange the token is listed on. Etherdelta served it purpose then and still serving although not as much as before. Nowadays I hardly hear of any token listing on Etherdelta when there are many other exchanges with good volume.
Nevertheless, to give you a more detailed answer, the best way to go is this; whatever token you want to sell be it ERC 20 or others, visit coinmarketcap or Coingecko and use the search engine to search for the token, if it is listed you will see the exchange it is listed on then you just visit the exchange, created your account, get your deposit address and deposit. Then trade or sell it.
However, if you search on coinmarketcap or Coingecko and you didn't find it, visit the telegram group, search or ask if it is listed or not, because most times a token might be listed and the team might find it hard listing it on coinmarketcap or Coingecko.
Nevertheless, there are other Decentralized exchanges like Idex, Binance Dex, Uniswap etc, but in all you need to know where it is listed on, hence the need to visit the telegram group.

That's the real problem which is the gas, and you mention EtherDelta alright it's a decentralized exchange that runs on Ethereum blockchain but I tell you all DEX are the same, there is no FREE because nobody can send any ERC20 tokens in Ethereum blockchain without gas I hope you get it.    

That became a struggle for me actually when I sold my AION back in the days when it was still sitting in my MEW. Took me a lot of gas to put it in EtherDelta which is the first exchange I sold my tokens ever.
I guess it's just like my experience in sending BTC.

Coins without real market value won't get the demand so we can't be able to sell them until someone interested in buying it.Lot of exchanges and trading platforms available to sell our tokens but if it is running on ethereum blockchain then you should be aware of high transaction fee at the moment which takes time to get down so there is no choice other than waiting for the gas fee to get dropped.

there are lots of exchanges where you can sell your ERC 20 tokens. centralized and decentralized. before you sell, make sure you the token in the exchange tallies to the one you have in your wallet. do not make a mistake of sending a token that shares the same ticker but a wrong token. also follow up with the project to know when there is a token swap.

There are many exchanges you can sell your ERC-20 based token. You already know the ERC-20 token you have, so you can check the well trusted centralized exchanges and know if it’s available to be traded in their platform and if the answer to that is a yes, then go ahead and make use of a CEX to trade the token, but if it’s a no, then you will have to make use of a Decentralized exchange which is where things can get a bit confusing if you’re still new and don’t know how it works.

You will have to be very careful if what you’re going to be using to trade the token is a DEX.
