There is still a "hidden" house edge, where if you gamble on all of them, like if we all picked a different result and played, the overall is that they still win because odds are made that way. However, there is a difference between that and the house edge on casino games because sports is something that has to be played, it is not a machine thing.

You could gamble 30 games in a row for the same team and they can win all 30 or lose all 30 and we wouldn't know which one will be how.
