That is true. I have been a participant in all of them though I started to lose the streak because there were a lot of legendary winners. They literally started beating everyone in every round. haha. What happened to Duelbits contests which were easily some of the most popular contests in this forum sometime back? Their multiplier battles were really entertaining and attracted a lot of attention.

It just stopped. Maybe it was not as effective as before in attracting new and existing users to play. But it was really fun on joining to such competitions specially if you knew that how reputable the manager and the casino are.

I think because they focus on tournaments event on social media to have a better scope compared to Bitcointalk which has a limited participants. Their social media giveaway and contest is very popular due to their strong community. They stop tournaments here in the forum after they consistently doing this on social media.

We are still bless that Duelbits still consider the forum as valuable place to promote due to their huge campaign budget weekly.

you can have a much bigger reach using traditional social media like X or intstagram, youtube, tik tok.

Social media are the platforms to reach them since there are probably thousands of reach in a single post, what more if you boost the promotion you have on social media and reach millions. It is proven that doing promotions there is effective and can really improve your daily average players. Though promoting here doesn't mean throwing away promotion money since the forum will mostly talk about the casino also motivates the forum members to play and trust the casino, thus increase the reputation due to testimonies of current and past gamblers who experienced gambling in the casino.

I often wonder how profitable it is for the casino owners to run the promotions here on bitcointalk

but there are also some consequential gains that don't come directly from new players depositing but from things like getting a better SEO position on google, so forth and so on.

I sometimes do ask myself the same question, but i have always come to the conclusion that, if this wasn't profitable for the casinos, and other companies promoting their brand and services on this forum, then they probably won't be doing it.
The promotions, or advertisements on this forum is not about or particularly for the users of this forum, but also for those out there, since the forum is SEO friendly, people searching things on google and other search engines are likely to find themselves on this forum, and such a person is already a potential customer of any of the brands or services being advertised on this forum.

as everything, capitalism also has bad sides, but this is one that I really like about it

so, yeah, they're probably profitable, not tracking correctly, or interested in keeping a presence here regardless of being profitable (not direct profit but subjective)

HAha, sounds really interesting indeed, not to blame the user who missed out for I also missed out too, and i have been very active in this gambling board for a very long time now, it's rather unfortunate that I don't usually find any interest in checking the games and rounds board for such a contest.
Anyways, glad i came to this board at this moment and came across this comment, I've taken note of this information and will keep tabs for when the next round of the contest will be launched.

Have not visited Duelbits site for a week or more now because I need to stop gambling for a while for personal reason but yeah upon visiting , there are lots of chances to win in this event.

This is the old format of Duelbit Halloween event which consist of different event per day but I still like the previous one which user has an individual task per day that incorporates different rewards and some cash drop/free spin which you can’t get on this current event format.

I’m not sure normal user can get a place on the daily event since only 200 players can reward while there’s tons of players here that’s why I still preferred the old individuals task format than this competition type. The reward is still good but nothing beats their Halloween and Christmas event last year and the previous year.

I would say it is not for the regular user who does smaller amounts, it is for competition and it is for someone to gain something from it as well. I get that it may look like you could win something but that doesn't mean that we are not going to end up with something else. We should try to avoid it as much as we possibly could, and that could benefit everyone on the long run as well.

I believe that we just need to focus on smaller amounts with high returns and even though we could still lose that sometimes we could at least increase our wagering number that way, which would be a way for smaller capital people to have a chance but obviously it would be harder. Anyone can try it, I am not going to, I do not trust myself that much, neither my own luck as well.

The new format of the raffle ticket is what makes the current version of Duelbits Halloween promotion more exciting because there’s a maximum limit of 5 tickets per user to be owned which means everyone have an equal chance of winning regardless of the bankroll size.

The previous event has no limit on ticket that’s why whale obviously dominate the raffle leaving small gamblers small chance to win unlike now. There have been several times that I have lost several duelbit contests, now the bitcontalk one, I think I didn't even realize it, I didn't know how to review the games and rounds, but that is something that little by little I have seen being done, also on Twitter It is a great option, for me in Duelbits there are many opportunities that allow people to do things that will bring many successes, it is a channel in constant growth, I am very happy that they are in that direction, therefore when we have seen that In the contests they are always very good, so this means that at least we, who are almost not waiting, take a look, this is like the contests that are gnielaes that they offer on bitcasino.io, because they are excellent, but the truth is not I am one of those who are aware of this, I don't know why, it is something that I really like, although I know that here in the forum there are many who are aware of this, I really admire that.

That is why I like this type of reward system, it allows you to actually have a moment where you can do fine. I am not saying that it's going to be easy, but at least you have a chance when it's like this and that matters a lot.
