Barcelona 1-4 Paris Saint-Germain

RB Leipzig 0-2 Liverpool



Liverpool are back to winning ways after the win a tricky match at RB Leipzig. They had to play the game in the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary because German officials did not allow Liverpool to play the game in Germany because of COVID-19 rules.

It was supposed to be a night for Messi to shine but he faded and faded fast. After scoring the first goal to Barcelona a 1-0 lead, PSG fought back and it was Mbappe that was the star player who single-handedly destroyed Barcelona as he scored three goals. PSG thrashed Barcelona 1-4. Pique even tried to hold on to underwear that Mbappe was wearing but he failed  

Messi looks like he had enough of Barcelona and will move to PSG or Manchester City at the end of the season on a free transfer.

Here are my opinions on how the games will play out 

FC Porto 0-3 Juventus         
Sevilla 1-2 Borussia Dortmund

I think that Juventus can win, but the match will not be effective and one goal can decide the outcome of the match. In the match Sevilla - Burussia Dortmund, I think that Sevilla will not lose, but since Borusia likes to attack, an exchange of goals is possible. Sevilla plays very well at home, there may be a draw, or even a Sevilla victory.

Cristiano Ronaldo was very quiet throughout the match but his Juventus team have the all important away goal even though Porto won 2-1.

Haaland keeps scoring for Dortmund and they win 2-3. Sevilla played well enough to get a draw but ended up losing.

I could not see this game, but without a doubt it is a hard blow for Messi, I really saw the summary on ESPN, but I think that the Barcelona players have to help Messi much more, it is also worth mentioning that it was not Cristiano Ronaldo's day who also lost with his team. The two greatest soccer players of these times lose at the same time ...

@JollyGood I believe that Porto have caused a huge upset by beating Juventus, and if they manage to dump Juventus out of the champions league then Cristanio will move on from this project.

Furthermore did you see the way Halland powered Dortmund to victory, and if he continues his hot form then suddenly we will have to consider Dortmund as a contender to win the champions league.

I have watched PSG-Barcelona game and it was really good, Messi is looking like he is done but we all know who he is and what he was capable of when he played at his peak, he just looks like a player who didn't age well or just doesn't care anymore at all.

This is why I think the game was simple for PSG as well, because Barcelona is not the old Barcelona, they are on their way to not have a single cup this season and that is not really acceptable for Barcelona really. Watched the extended highlights of Leipzig and Liverpool game, it was obvious that Liverpool was fed up with losing too many games in a row and they played better than they have been for months.

Lazio 0-5 Bayern Munich

@JollyGood indeed Bayern were always the favourites to win this fixture, but I wasn’t expecting them to win it so easily. Furthermore Musiala created history by scoring goals in the champions league, as he’s the youngest English player to score goals in the league.

You're predicting an upset in both games then, cause on paper City and Real should get easy victories tonight, well I know it's football and anything is possible, but I can't give Mochengladbach a chance in today's game, I think City will be too strong for them, and they could end up conceding two or more goals.

Real Madrid on the other hand aren't having the best of seasons, neither did they perform well in the group stages, I think Atalanta are a decent side and could prolly cause Real some problems today, a win for them looks too much if you ask me though, I think this game is going to end in a 2-2 draw.

I just think Real Madrid are running out of steam, they are not the same team they once were. As for Manchester City, they will continue their unbeaten run with a draw because they are playing a tricky team.

Real Madrid managed to score 4 minutes before the end of game thanks to Mendy to win their game. Manchester City won comfortably too. These were 1st leg games so the return games will be decisive because it is a knockout competition from now on.

Juventus-Porto match was more exciting as it ended after extra time even though Porto got a red card in the 54th minute. Porto's goal in the extra time was really dramatic that it helped them a lot for advancing. It was a nice free-kick goal by Sergio Oliveira and Szczesny was nearly saving it. It was really the defining moment of the match.

I think a lot of people predicted Barca would not qualify, because of the result of the first match. Like the impossible, but I think there is still a chance even though it's very difficult. They need everything to turn things around in order to qualify for the next round. Barca have to lock up Mbappe, get fast goals, and keep attacking. As for fast goals, their enthusiasm will be even higher and their confidence will be even stronger.
