Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest

If there is none until 2024, how are we hearing about some vaccination so suddenly? I feel like it is not really fair to make people afraid of this virus as well. You should defend yourself, wear your mask, wash your hands and basically do everything that doctors are promoting but aside from that you can't do anything and vaccination will come.

There are some successful ones right now and the procedure for them is shortened, you do not have to do all that much test, put it in some people and see the results and if it good then put it in more and more people and if they get better you basically start to grow the number of people getting that vaccination over period of time. That is just what I think will happen and it is already on the way, in 6 to 12 months all the world will have it for sure.

I think you misunderstood the topic, it is said the there will be "Not enough corona vaccine", meaning that there will be vaccine very soon, but for the vast majority to have it, it will be until 2024. I think, this would be gold race, where countries will try to get a hold of the vaccines as soon as possible, leaving the poor countries with nothing in stock. We can just hope that the companies who would provide the said vaccine, will offer a reasonable and compassionate price that can be afford by different world countries.

Though, I do agree that we should not be afraid of the virus, cause we can prevent it by strictly following the protocols on how to prevent it, but we can't erase the fact that there would be people who would love to disobey this rules for "they are free, and can do what they want". Prevention is better than cure, but needlessly say, the amount of time for the world to be covid free is kind of alarming and frightening for most of us.

I just watched from a media company through FB that the Chinese government, the manufacturer of their vaccine can produce at least 600 million of doses of vaccine by the end of the year.

And for the next year, it will increase by a billion and more. But there are other manufacturers too that aims to produce a billion just like Pfizer and Moderna.

What's interesting is that they're already talking about manufacturing which means to say, that we have the vaccine already.  

I wish that things will get back to normal again even if it will take to 2024 but with modern technology, I believe that it will become faster.

Honestly, I thought the vaccine to be made are for those affected. So they can be cured. But it turns out that the vaccine are for those who are not affected. So they can be immuned. Is my understanding correct?

Anyway, @sunsilk, if that's the case, then that's good news. I hope there can really be a vaccine produced by the end of this year or even in the early stage of 2021. Though I read some news that the vaccine could be available by the end of 2021 and not on the early stage like everyone expected. Ijust hope that this will come to an end soon.

Btc price even fall less than that amount during lockdown and was able to recover faster than stock market. BTC may not reach 20k this year but it surely not to collapse easily even there are economic issues as some use thus an alternative to escape the economic crisis of their county.

the corona virus is to find a vaccine. But with news that it may take another 4 years for everyone to get a vaccine, this leaves us all disappointed.

It's been months since I've heard that they are on the third trial.

I think its been two or three months since I've heard that a vaccine or there are these vaccines that on their third trial but until now, there is no sure or 100% statement that it is the "vaccine" that the countries needed. I think it will still take some time and probably the "vaccine" will be distributed the next year or later next year.

This is not true at all. You're confusing antibodies with a vaccine.  Your body does not create a vaccine.  When you're infected with the virus, your body creates antibodies to fight the virus.  You're still infected though and you're still capable of spreading the infection to others.  A vaccine is a safe agent that doesn't make you sick but for which your body will still create antibodies for the virus, preventing you from ever being infected. The point of a vaccine is so that you never have to risk getting sick from the virus.

There's just no way to counter this level of ignorance and paranoia, so I'm not going to try. Because hydroxycholorquine hasn't been shown to be effective in treating Covid-19 and can have serious side effects. There was some early evidence it might be helpful but as more data was collected the benefits were shown to be inconclusive, and with the risk of serious side effects it's not worth the risk.

That's the issue most people who won't be able to afford a vaccine will have to face when any vaccine that has proven to be effective and safe becomes available. Governments promise that the challenge is to get a working vaccine but has not yet faced the question of who's going to pay for it in the end - tax payers funds plus whoever else wants the vaccine.

Free of cost!!! I think that's a joke the government makes at people's expense. If they could give everyone the vaccine for free then I'd be proved wrong, and in this case I'd love to be but it all seems like much of a business opportunity for them to pass on so lightly. The pandemic this year has already surged the global market intensively for months. And that is the result of an economic collapse. Our economy is reviving day by day since then. Bitcoin will hardly drop to 9k in this year. It will remain above $10000. People are buying bitcoin a lot, especially Rich elite people. Without vaccine we will for almost sure not see Bitcoin at $20k this year. Next year we for almost certainly will. A lot of things would need to happen for Bitcoin not reach $20k in 2021.
