Most of the gambling sites nowadays uses high quality graphics interface which cause your PC to overheat and obviously this kind of sites will definitely consumes a lot of RAM. My PC specs are 16gb RAM and it's still lagging when i visit gambling sites. I suggest you upgrade your PC, mostly recommended is gaming PC cause they are built for taking a load of processes.

I do not think that the gembling sites use hidden miners on the computers of their visitors. They are more important to attract the player with beautiful graphics and animation, which will be problematic when the computer processor or GPU involved in the mining.

I think gambling places require very high ram because some of them use FPS so that they require more resources whereas for mining I think it will never happen like that, this is the same as playing FPS games you leave it all day which is sure the cache will accumulate and will slow down the process or device performance.

I also believe that they will not, it's illogical they will not make profit from doing this than making their gambling site, there are more money to make in running a gambling site than CPU mining, they will lose their reputation they will lose players they will lose profits, but I'd like to read the defence of these two gambling sites to prove their innocence.

Upgrading your PC might be the best solution if you want to continue visiting the site without hassle.

Technically, NO.
How about performing several tests. Use different browsers and make sure that only a single browser is running at the same time (application process).
Record logs and from there, you can actually conclude if there's something wrong.

When I start an autobet in different websites You're running an auto-bet program and you're wondering why your PC is running hot? Are you sure you know what you are doing? This is not normal. I don't think running auto-bet should cause the temperature of your computer to rise. How heavy are those bots that causes high CPU usage that results in high temperature? It is probably the browser or it is the casino that has a badly optimized auto-betting feature causing high CPU usage. So far never heard anyone complaining about a problem like this. So highly likely this is just an isolated incident.

you can also use a chrome based extension called "minerblock" to avoid crypto mining websites to use you machine to mine while you're visiting the website. not sure but maybe Brave browser already does that by default.

Auto-betting shouldn't really cause any problem because if they do then most of us would really complain the same thing but somehow people aren't really that concern much about their PC's statistics or condition once they do play and don't care if its running hot or what. I tested out with several browsers and I didn't experience any problems about heating up or see some miner process or anything related to that. I doubt that OP might have installed some malware because it nowhere can be found those process once I do ran off those programs and same goes for the rest of people who had been replying this thread.

I have played at both casino you mentioned. I used their autobet function as well but haven't faced heat issue like you. Everything worked smoothly for me. Online casinos try to provide best experience to it's user for attracting more gambler. If a user continuously play there then the casino will have benefit for house edge. So a casino won't do anything like that with it's user.

They wont really make any shady move like that because they do know that they are risking their websites reputation and it will really be the reason for their failure if someone find out that they are secretly mining.Who would be a dumb gambling site owner will do that? Wolfbet had already established their names into this market and same goes with that other site mentioned. Its just too nonsense if they will really make such move.I ran the auto bet feature and I haven't see any problems about heating or cpu consumption.

Not quite sure if they do this but I think they will not do this to their users especially if yes many of the users might be able to notice it but I think this is the first time I read issue about this kind of topic in regards with casinos I think the problem is within your PC or used OS I don't think gambling sites has something to do with this also casinos are already earning a lot of money on their website and there's no way to trick out their players for having a secret mining.

No. Gambling sites aren't to blame why your CPU experienced high temperature.
It's no secret that browsers like Chrome and Firefox eat too much RAM but shouldn't be a cause for a high temp CPU if you are running only a single instance like for example one gambling site while using Autobot.
This might be related to a system error especially hardware. Try to diagnose it or search for some tweaks online about determining why CPU behaves likes that.

On top of that, no legit site can afford to be caught CPU mining on a client. Something similar happened in my country few years ago, and it nearly bancrupt the company that did it. As a PR response they said "they were testing it out", but it was clearly a bad attempt, since EU law dictates you have to notify the user

thats a karma for them . what kind of test was that when they use someones cpu to mine ? thats not a test but its stealing on someone without them knowing it . it would be fine if they gave something at the end of the project but if they run away and spend all the profits that they made on mining , thats not acceptable for the poor users . a legit site wont do this risky move because they are already earning enough on thier business but scam and illegal sites maybe .

I hope you don't use any browser based wallets because then you are at risk of loosing money. But there's an easy way to remove this malware. Just download Emsisoft malware protection tool which comes with a free trial period. Scan you pc and remove this malware. That should solve this issue! He is on Linux where malware is not common at all.The CPu is not that high if he has a 5-7 years old computer and the 20% Cpu usage with such processor is common. Sure the website may use malware in the sense that they use your Cpu without your knowledge anytime you access their website. As for your system I would not be worried but in case you are there are a few good antivirus also for Linux and I remember Eset and F-Secure to be available to Linux systems.

^ Definitely right, at this statement you will know your doubt. But believe me or not, this has happened to me. I still remember the days where I was victimized by these hidden miners. They were using my PC. I was working on the main/central computer of our property when all of the PCs are not working properly. Some are going blackouts, blue screen, and sometimes hard to reboot. But when we double-check it, it was a malware that automatically mining using your computer without your consent. This is really disgusting!

In that case, it might that you just can't remember or unaware that you gave access to those malware to enter your unit's system. In most cases, the malware won't just enter the system without the user's approval. There should be a thing that will trigger it. In the case of OP, he is just playing on the gambling site in an auto-mode. There's no link we can consider as a bridge to how the supposed malware enters his PC. So I guess, there was an authorization made by OP accidentally either he installed or program, apps, etc. To solve that, he really needs to do a quick scan using a strong anti-virus or malware detector program such as Malwarebytes.

Gambling websites don't use your CPU to mine lol. Because CPU mining isn't really that much profitable anymore, and neither they need it, because as casino they are already making good money Maybe, your PC is becoming hot due to other issues which isn't mining, check your system for errors or apps running in background or maybe the websites require you to have high-level graphics because of their UI. It depends on a lots of things for what your are experiencing to happen!

Gambling websites don't use your CPU to mine lol. Because CPU mining isn't really that much profitable anymore, and neither they need it, because as casino they are already making good money That's a wrong assumption, because just because gambling is profiting we can't conclude our CPU won't be used for mining. If there is a possibility, then from a large number of people running their website could get them an additional revenue. Anyhow gambling sites won't get into such business. Maybe, your PC is becoming hot due to other issues which isn't mining, check your system for errors or apps running in background or maybe the websites require you to have high-level graphics because of their UI. It depends on a lots of things for what your are experiencing to happen!
In certain desktops when we run programs that aren't capable to be run with the specific configuration cause heating. So, heating can be of several reasons, and not because of running specific gambling sites.
