I haven't lost job but my family members yeah and I had to take care of whole family. My salary was good but at the same time I was working on personal digital side projects and it happened like pandemic and it started all together. Glad, I had some bitcoin reserves and btc didn't fall, this really helped me a lot.
The point here is that I had bought those bitcoins much earlier when price was 5K and saved them. There wasn't fall in bitcoin's price during this pandemic and despite the fact that I was afraid that bitcoin may wouldn't act well, I still believed in it. Halving happened recently and this was my major hope cause on previous halving, things went so smooth and well, I was captivated. This pandemic was a real test for bitcoin and it succeed.
National currency lessened in value but not bitcoin and USD, so crypto helped me a lot.

There is not much of a story with fiat as i already sold most of my stocks when the pandemic started as i am not willing to take any risk as anything can happen and i am also not sure how the cryptocurrency market will react if there is an economic meltdown. There is no point in having a competition between fiat and cryptocurrency as it will co exists.

This pandemic have really brought lots of negative effects not just on the economy of the country but for the individuals as well because of this common problem that arises which is the loss of job or unemployment due to certain circumstances like temporary to permanent closure of business establishments to take part with the implementation of the health protocols to avoid the wide spread of the virus. Almost all or let us just say all countries affected by the pandemic are experiencing rise in unemployment all due because of this pandemic due to the reasons that the OP have provided. Good thing that none of my family members so far have lost their job and they are still continuously working even at time of pandemic which is good but still I feel sorry for some or many of us in here that have experience the lost of job. Maybe right after this pandemic where everything gets back to normal you guys can find another job to work with.

This is really hard time as many people are going though some or other problems in their personal or professional life. Some have lost jobs , for some their salary has reduced, some some businesses have shut or no demand for their product etc and this is putting people in lot of stress and just praying all this get over quickly so that we are back to normal life .

I think there's a misunderstanding on your part because after all, why should a comparison between fiat and crypto be raised?

What exactly do you mean here? Do you mean, who has the most advantage during the pandemic? They are both useful. It's just that, you lost your job and sees the economic status of the world is slowly crashing so you might think the fiat-related investment isn't that good.

This isn't a battle between fiat and crypto. Think outside or better removed totally the box on how you can survive this pandemic. The fact that you can browse at the forum means you are still ahead and lucky compare to others which even accessing the internet is a problem. There are even people who end up worst compare to you so heads up and continue to challenge every problem you will encounter.

This crisis has indeed made the world chaotic in all sectors, but over time some sectors began to recover and gradually recovered to other sectors. Indeed, there are many workers who have been laid off because of this pandemic, but that doesn't mean it will be the end of us because at least there will be opportunities that can be exploited to still be able to earn income in any way, in this case it's not just about investing and trading in the cryptocurrency market because still have risks.

So far I have not been affected by the pandemic in that way and as far as I know the rest of my family is the same but in my country millions of jobs were lost and desperation was felt during the lockdown period in which almost no one was on the street and the people that lost their jobs were desperate to try to get some sort of income but no one was hiring and not one was buying anything either, since then things have improved but it is going to take years for things to go back to the way they were.

And if something else happens during that time like another crisis then most likely it will take the country even longer to recover, this is the reason I am here, I knew this will happen and I saw in bitcoin a way to help me avoid the worst effects of an economic crisis and so far I have been able to do exactly that.

I feel sorry to hear that you have lost your job during this pandemic on which is really pretty hard to find a stable job to sustain all your needs to survive since there is just a small amount of job opportunities available during this time. On my part, good thing that I do still have my job so as with my family do also have theirs because if ever we loss our jobs, we certainly do not know how we can be able to survive this pandemic. We are just blessed that we do still have our jobs during this pandemic to sustain our necessities because if not, maybe we are already starving on hunger and we might die not because of the virus but on hunger. But still we cannot deny the fact that this was all because of the negative impact of the pandemic causing many people to be unemployed which is really pretty hard situation to be with. Luckily, the office where I am working on did not close and was able to keep my job during the pandemic. We even had a choice to stay at the office or work from home during the lockdown period. I realized how lucky I am for millions of people who had lost their jobs and a lot of businesses and companies had to close down due to lesser demands and bankruptcy.

I lost my job as well, but somehow I have savings to spend to sustain our needs. Some companies/businesses were close its all because of the virus but we cant sit and do nothing. Thats why seeking for other opportunity specially online is the best that we can do. Crypto is an alternative to earn but its not easy for those new here because it also requires capital or skills.

Both cryptocurrency and fiat currency is important in our daily lives but I prefer this cryptocurrency as of our current situation, because of this pandemic, I lost my job as well, I am working in a convenience store and when the pandemic started, the store had to stop so I lost my job, one thing that makes me survive with this pandemic is cryptocurrency. Just don't panic, every change can bring something good. Changing jobs is a common occurrence, with or without the pandemic. of course, we now have an increased number of surplus jobs because the pandemic changing many priorities.

This is the reason why I always teach my wife and children the survival model in everyday life because I realize that we can only hope for the best but we must prepare for the worst. It is proven when many families feel stressed because they cannot leave the house during the pandemic. I and my family can adapt to pandemic (lockdown) easily because I have made it a habit to always be at home if there is really no important thing to do.

I am sorry to hear that. For me it's also not looking that great, have been on short working hours for month and there is no real end in sight. I am afraid the company will shut down next year if nothing is going to change with the economy.

For me personally Fiat and Crypto both are pretty stable. I didn't lose much in my investment portfolio and my crypto currencies went actuallly up a little. So overall I prefer cryptos than Fiat.
