Optmism is a very helpful thing to survive in whatever situation hits the world. The pandemic made many people lose their jobs and made them lose their income. But I think the situation has started to improve and people can start again because the quarantine average is no longer enforced. Only maintain health protocol that the government continues to strive to implement in all daily activities. People can go back to work and make money.

In as much there is a change in the economy of a country due to a public pandemic, same should also apply to the citizens living to adapt to the change. The system isn't fair to anybody and so if you know how to adapt to it then you are liable to survive. Some businesses failed thereby crashing down people's plans economically, making people considering small scale business as a means of income.

As regarding to OP about considering in bitcoin and other Cryptos as a means of earning since you lost your job, its a thing of carefulness, its not only in bitcoin you could earn from, how about stock market, investment in gold and others. Aren't they good to consider them too?

Fiat is not the reason why you lost your job.
Cryptocurrency alone won't save you, online gigs and jobs will.
If you get a job online, you can get paid in online fiat or in crypto so that's another argument that fiat didn't fail you at all.

IMO he is not to blame for the effect of the pandemic on his Job and we all know that all Jobs cant be done online. He does look not to rely on cryptocurrency alone, even some who made huge money in cryptocurrency panic at the beginning of the crisis. When you got your money and couldnt buy what you want, that could be a degree of failure of Fiat. With money at hand, some could not purchase their daily necessities ( tissue paper) and protective equipment for the disease.

Losing job do not only occur during this pandemic situation, when there is an economic crisis many people will lose their jobs.
So I think there's no need to stress thinking about it, because losing a job is not the end. If we have skills there's no need to fear,
because you will definitely find a new job soon. Those who do not have skills also need not worry, because making money doesn't
have to work for other people. We can start our own business, there are many ways to make money. The most important thing is
not to give up easily, because every problem has a solution.

I also struggled without work during the pandemic, almost running out of money back then. Didn't have a decent job until I got one last April despite full lockdown here in my city. I am still blessed with my work for more than 6 months and counting. However, I'm still struggling to save money because my earnings aren't enough yet. Non-stop bills, expenses, family contributions, monthly meds for my anxiety condition, etc., which really hurt my pocket.

I live within my means for now, participating airdrops. bounties and contests on the side where at least it could help me a little. Sorry for the loss of your job. I know how it feels, but you have nowhere else to go except keep moving forward. It means there's another door that could be a better opportunity than your previous job.

This is the attitude I have met some people that lost their job during the pandemic and for the most part many had a very negative attitude towards it, basically instead of moving forward and try to find another job immediately they were depressed about the fact they were fired, and quite honestly I do not get it, they were not fired because of their own performance it was just because of the pandemic, just accept it and move on and yet many were unable to do so.

So to all the people reading this thread if you have lost your job just accept it, there is nothing you can do except to move forward and try to improve your economic situation in any way that you can.

So many people have lost their job and the family members are in trouble due to the jobless dads. Losing the job and looking for the new one are two different problems especially during the global lockdown. Pandemic and caused lockdown are the main reasons why many people can't feed their family, the situation is worse than expected in small developing countries. A lot of economic problems happened during this pandemic, I feel sorry to those who lost their jobs this time, in my case I have not lost my job since our company is an essential company this pandemic, I work in the electric cooperative and I am happy for not losing the job that I have but the difference for now is that we are not expecting for a high cash gift this coming December, 2020 because our income of this year is very low compare to last year.

Its better to have less rather than have nothing at all.I do also consider myself lucky when it comes to this current situation where lots have lost their jobs due to this pandemic and i do really feel sorry for them'and should strive to move on and go forward as long as we lived there would be always opportunity that comes in.

We just need to sustain and endure on the current challenges that we are facing because we dont have any options but to deal with the reality.There are other options that you can take though
via selling out online on something essential.

People can still lose their jobs even without Covid. Economic crises and some other economic circumstances can also cause people to lose their job. But I don't think people will depend on just one job without seeing other equally productive job. The internet is not what it used to be, which was only used to find out many thing in the learning process. But now everyone can make money from the internet in various ways without having to leave the house. Wasn't that helpful enough until you landed a new job ?

It's never too late to start again. It's just a job, some people are losing their lives.


I'm still doing fine with my job so I can't really relate to OP but I know many people who lost a lot and never gave up. Life is full of surprises you never know what's in line for you. Many people became rich in their 60s after struggling for many years.

Actually you can just do tasks in the crypto space like if you have a good strong catch over a particular skill like programming then you can easily get hired by a project and you have to learn a few basics about the blockchain technology. Unemployment is what happens to most people. From industry to service, there was stagnation due to the lack of money flowing into the market. I think your unemployment will end soon when economies restructure their debt and cash flows. A vaccine is also a way for people to return to life.
I have optimism in 2021 that everything will be better.

A vaccine might cure the virus but it cannot cure the destruction caused by the pandemic already and the only way this gets healed is time and positive efforts from the local government of each country.

I have seen my close friends losing their job and I have felt how it hurts when someone loses his/her job because it is more like an accident, everything is going smooth and you suddenly have an accident.

Well i believe that many people re losing thier job because of the pandemic, but there are still so many ways to earn in a simple way one example of it is tge online selling, online selling is now really the alternative way to earn a profit. We only need to be more faithful and time may come that this virus will end and we will be back to normal. The situation is very complicated for many people, myself included. I live in New Caledonia and I lost my job. You have to know how to bounce back and take advantage of this opportunity to question yourself, to see opportunities that I would have missed by keeping my job. There are a lot of things to do on the internet, you have to be curious and not be afraid to learn again...

This is the tough time but one who all survive this with their best efforts and ready to make changes in the either their business if so needed or in the skill of an individual this is going to help in coming time and will be paid accordingly. So just focus more on learning or how to improve and get ready for a bright future which is waiting once this is over.

I agree to that! I've known someone after losing a job starts to find small business where he can still earned decent and well enough to feed his family not that much but full enough to survive.

You are correct, it's a wakeup call to everyone not to relied with one source of income, people needs to learn to find additional sources of funds and keep it coming not just to stay flat but instead to grow it from time to time.
