It’s really hard to lose a job during this pandemic. If it’s hard to get by for those who have a stable job (which working days were reduced) how much more for those who became unemployed? These people no longer have a work to sustain their needs like paying bills, paying rent, and food budget.

This pandemic really burdened most especially the average and lower class of the society. Majority of them in our country were depending on the local government units’ food tranche and supplementary amelioration programs just to survive the daily basis. This is really disheartening. However, we can always find some opportunities amidst the unfortunate circumstances happening right now. If you have a savings, you can get some and invest it to something you trust that could generate you an income. For example, taking a risk in investing on Bitcoin, having some kind of small business like food stall just in front of your house, etc. This could help you get by and eventually can help you in the long run, if you know how to manage it wisely.

There are many unfortunate events as I’m writing this at the moment, but we should always try to look for the silver linings and take the situation on our advantage. We may not have the same resources and opportunities, but we can always make the best out of what we currently have.

In my country, many people have lost their jobs due to covid-19 pandemic. It was caused by decreased product sales. I was a clothing business owner who has to lay off my employees because I can no longer afford to pay their salaries because my income has decreased considerably since the coronavirus. I hope this pandemic will end soon.

Yeah, there's nothing safe right now, there are plenty of vaccines that have done trial but still a failure. It's pretty sure that they will use people that have been affected by COVID-19 as their lab rats and if failed, they will say they died from the virus.

It is certain that the failure must have occurred because there is no certainty from which company the vaccine was produced, whether China made it again?

Even in my country more vaccines will be bought and distributed to all the people. Will this be a controversy?
People do not necessarily want to do the vaccine, they are afraid of failure and there will be a big risk when they taste it.

Are you getting $130 dollars per week or per month? In some other countries, the governments are not even giving anything. There is nothing like unemployment benefits and in United States I heard govt paying $400 to $600 weekly to those who lost their jobs in Covid crises.

There lots of people lost her job during the lockdown and some of them are still surviving. So, It's common they're facing a financial crunch. Most countries economical condition very poor comparing as before. Now we have to accept this bad situation without griping. You can cry and grumble or you can battle and transcend this. unfortunately the current economic crisis occurs due to the influence of the spread of the corona virus, this has left many countries paralyzed, I realize this and various countries are collapsing economies, more state debt, many people are being laid off because some may be infected by several people, currently in my country when there are job vacancies, more and more people are registering and they don't care about health protocols anymore, they are fighting over each other to get a place, even though like that there are some companies that already understand and they hold deployments using an online system.

so in my opinion there are no words to give up, we have to work to survive.

Yes I lost my job because of this pandemic my boss told me he is sorry because he need to close the shop cuz his business are losing is losing money. first I don't know what to do so I ask my friend if they know any shop who need helpers but instead of that they tell about in bitcoin. The thing is, a lot of people who lost their jobs during the pandemia are looking for jobs online now and a lot of them joined services like upwork or clickworker, what caused a crash in the hourly rates. I use upwork to give some work away from time to time and I noticed that since March the hourly rates are decreasing steadily and competition is increasing. For example, before the crisis I had to pay up to $20/hr (normally between $13-15) for some programming tasks. Two weeks ago, when I offered my last job, someone very experienced offered the work for $9.15. Never before I noticed such low rates.

Here in our place the the tourism is now open and are already accepting local for them to slowly recover by opening the establishment despite the virus.
