I don't know why you have considered bitcoin as ponzi, maybe you have encountered a bad experience or someone told you that it is good to invest in bitcoin
as you can profit a huge amount of money and it sounds like ponzi to you.

Bitcoin price is base on demand and supply, don't ever think that there is an easy money in crypto especially if you have no deep knowledge yet on how the market

Also, no one forces you to get involved with Bitcoin and you can freely go avoid it and choose another one if youd like but having second thoughts and basing of into the support that Bitcoin

a logic that should have been accepted by the OP, where Bitcoin never promised any profit from the start. As a comparison, maybe the OP can do a detailed comparison between Bitcoin with several variables such as Bitconnect, BCH Connect, ETHConnect, XRPConnect which is a ponzi coin in cryptocurrency. I recommend doing research on the business model used by the coins I mentioned above, so the OP will find the difference between ponzi and non-ponzi.

Even just on the surface level, I can't imagine a ponzi scheme that's been working over 10 years, had dozens of ups and downs and was consciously utilized by huge companies and institutions

and still having a Hundreds of billion dollars asset inside,how can this be a possible Ponzi staying more than 10 years and yet still in progress.

Bitcoin is not ponzi and earning depend how bitcoin price is going on, dump or pump. What is pozi scheme? It's an investing scam promising large profit with no risks. It generates returns for early investors by acquiring new investors. Bitcoin doesn't promise regular returns. It doesn't make you to add new investors into "the scheme" to increase your return rate. Just read the white paper to understand it.

The OP was not well informed about Bitcoin by now having read all the post here he should be convinced enough to know why bitcoin is not a ponzi scheme.
A ponzi scheme can never last long, it is a form of networking once there are no new investors the system automatically go bankrupt and collapse eg MMM
Bitcoin is decentralized and the price is controlled by demand and supply  bitcoin will continue to exist irrespective of whether there are new investors or not.

If BTC is a ponzi, you would probably see seeing fiat as the ponziest of all.

Some of the users who claimed BTC to be scam was the ones saying that it has no utility and has no value. But its the same thing about fiat being that is not backed by gold and its just the government declared it to have value. For BTC at least is backed by math and protocol that wont print as much as it can. BTC is the same as fiat that is accepted by many businesses.

We should understand the Ponzi scheme to understand if bitcoin is a Ponzi.... Ponzi or pyramid business are that kind of business where you input your money and get an awesome revenue, but the way to earn more money is by getting more referrals. So, a good example of a Ponzi scheme is a business who will pay you 10% from the investment of your referrals, that kind of business works for the short term, but not for the long terms, it will always fail in the long run when the scheme doesn't get new affiliates.

And that's why we can't see bitcoin as a ponzi scheme, because you don't get an income from your referrals, maybe you get more money if you hold, but that money cames from the market bump and not from the users pockets.
