Of course, bitcoin is legit, and if you are talking about security, it's secure till you don't make any mistakes from your side.

USA dollars also are being used by criminals all over the world(where its accessible). No one can stop criminals from using or getting access from anything, but you can control it by proper monitoring and by making strong laws, for that government have their own protection system.

Everything is good till you use it for good purpose, so its depends on you, how do you want to use your USD or bitcoin, for buying drugs or food.

The OP sounds so afraid about bitcoin being a scam when it has been on the internet back when Soulja Boy was still relevant. And no, just because someone uses it for illegal purposes automatically makes it a scam coin. It's legitimate as it gets. You don't need to worry about the coin's legitimacy. That's it.

Man this is some funny shit.  The people who know best about whether Bitcoin and or other types of cryptocurrencies are legit tend to be those in the financial field. Analysts, advisors, etc.  As an investment advisor I spent countless years of my life studying for licensing exams where much of it is to train to learn how to spot illegitimate financial products ( I say this over and over on here I feel like which is annoying even to me, but to make my point).  Bitcoin IS legit. Most cryptocurrencies are NOT legit.

First thing that I really wanted to say here is that, why are we here spending our whole time in Crypto world if it isn't? Of course, it is 101% Legit. With what have seen in bitcoin and what I have experienced about BTC show bitcoin is a good one compare to other cryptocurrencies. The gas fees of bitcoin is very low compared to Ethereum which the gas fees is very high that is making some investors switch to bitcoin.

There is no doubt that Bitcoin is legit. Personally, I do not believe in fiat money, it is very risky to use fiat money. Central banks in most countries of the world are now bankrupt. At any time they can take people hostage by taking their money. In this case Bitcoin is decentralized and very reliable.

Of course Bitcoin is legit and it doesn't need Trump or any other authority's approval. It's track record speaks for itself. It is being adopted as a reserve currency by reputable companies. We see everyday it is making new all time highs against fiat currencies in places like Brazil, Turkey, Argentina and Venezuela. It is a much safer way to preserve wealth especially in hyperinflationary economies.

If there would be instances of fallacy, it's not bitcoin but those promises being told by scammers taking advantage of others.
