If reports are to be believed then india added 200-250 billionaires since 2014 so i think system is working. Surely not perfect but it's doing its job alright.
Yes, that's correct but that's a nature of capitalism, isn't it?
I also searched, and the numbers could be arounf 200-350, so even if we assume that 300 billionaires are there now we need to take them with population ration which is 1 per 50 lak people that is probably the lowet of all the world because I can see China's ratio is 1 billionaire per 1.7 million that is 17 lakhs and I don't think we can compare India with any other nation for this matter.
We are producing but at the very lowest level and even the one who made it doesn't want to continue to exist here, they either move to Dubai or other tax heaven nations.
Wealth distribution is a big one and should be an end goal alongwith many, we are still way down on per capita so ofc it'd look bad but at the same time trajectory is in uptrend and one can read data in different ways depending on their perspective, biases or just for the argument.
Once we touch the 7-8 trillion or 10 trillion in a decade or so, these numbers will improve but we'll still have the same debate because of wealth distribution, which should continue and rightly so but first priority should be getting rich as you can't afford to have first world problems with third world economy.
