A lot of things the British left us were good but a lot of things were bad too, like the current justice system and the problems inside this system are the secondary markets that other people exploit, just like the government offices where to get some petty work done, you need to pay 500 to the peon.

These things will not change, not any time soon.

But bitcoin seems to be going down with these tariff changes. I wonder if they are directly related or just some other market cycle taking over.

^^ waiting for his tweets now... Having said that, this is big.

Aur maja aa jata agar actual taxpayers ke liye Schengen area ka access mil jata. 😊

So far no tweet from him , he is busy with putting tarrifs on South Korea & also trying to blame someone for ICE's action domestically although his lapdog Bassent & Lutnick were crying on some news channels about this deal  Grin Grin

There is a famous dialogue in almost every political agenda movie, India is the only country where we have to bribe the officials when they need to do the work which they are supposed to do but in other country the bribe happens only when they are supposed to break the laws and get things done.

It is the reality and need generation to any changes.

And bitcoin price is more affected by the geopolitical events and it is expected since we also entering into the bearish cycle for a while so for a year the price will be swinging at this rate.

They didn't left stuff for us per se, its just we had too many bhole saab who were culturally closed victorian instead of indic values but looked indian and we actually adopted worst things from it and made it miserable.

We never cleaned the system and picked it up as it is, which was introduced to govern subjects and colonies, not citizens. Why do you think we still use the term "my lord" in our courts, these folks are treated like gods. Then we have babus system and governor ( they don't govern shit, aur inka living standard aur ghar dekh loge toh tata, ambanis chindi chor lagenge aapko). After that we have law enforcement and army, the former is 99% colonial, the latter party is okayish in this case but still living in colonial era.

Jagan really fucked up big, dude was busy building up Mahal for himself. Bifurcation also played it's part as well, Naidu has backup from the centre but they standing on their feet might take some time. Don't know what they are doing in amrawati but some juicy package was given to andra in last budget session ( he came into NDA's fold). Welfare schemes should come from the centre only and for states it should be banned when you are fucking up everything.

Punjab is a gone case and not much hope from any party, the day they'll get rid away of jatt politics ( it's violent and don't even talk about racism) then they might have some chance. Kerala is kinda becoming retirement hub, gulf mein Paisa kanao bas aur state commies dekh lenge.

What is happening with gold? One gram reached 17 thousand rupees and people who are planned to get married in 2026 is going to be fucked up their plans for sure, not talking about the rich here.

Anyone here also accumulating gold on a regular basis? I used to until covid and then I couldn't do it and shifted towards crypto but it seems gold did better than crypto since 2025 and more than doubled in returns.

^^ we are going towards old monetary system ..Fiat currency backed by gold ..just look at the stats how central bank are buying gold & Silver + dumping US Treasury bonds.India's holdings of US Treasury bonds have hit a 5-year low, they are down 26% from their 2023 peak.

Now look at this , next crash will make 2008 crisis look like a party atleast for US ..full on dumping going on

Speaking of that we see Gold, Silver and bitcoin dumping currently. Bitcoin falls below $85k.
Gold was $5500/oz but dips below $5250/oz. Silver is also down by more than 3.5%.
Although Gold and Silver are still at pretty high prices even after the recent dump bitcoin is facing a hard time.
Well that's a bad start for bitcoin in 2026.
