No, I am not a journalist nor a cop, but there was help from politicians, journalists and cops to take this case seriously. I was just helping the police understand the technology and provide evidence. I have assisted the authorities in a few other cases as well, across multiple states.
Keep up the good work, mate! The community knows how valuable you were here, and for the first time, I personally realized how valuable you are offline in catching scammers and spammers.
E85 aka Flex fuel seems to be the headline in our country for the last couple of days, I don't know how many of you noticed this, but it is a new policy from our government to reduce the dependency on oil imports, which sounds like a long-term vision. But selling fuel which got only 15% petrol and 85% is ethanol is gonna kill the engines of existing vehicles.
AFAIK, researched, it is just a intiative took by over government but not going to enforce on every petrol bunks but what if they do, we already paid taxes for our vehicles for 15 years and now they are forcing us to buy new one?
I saw on Reddit that E100 has also been released in some petrol pumps/bunks in tier 1 cities. Rather than calling them petrol pumps, they should be renamed Ethanol pumps/bunks. In the next 5 years, most of us will forget the word
enforce, and without uttering a word, we will be filling our vehicles with an ethanol blend or completely Ethanol fuel. It all starts like this, then suddenly, everywhere they will be talking about that for the growth of this country, we should adapt. That's it.
I am not against the government or its policy to reduce the import burden of crude. I am against the way they are implementing it. They have not considered a two-wheeler upgrade or a car upgrade kit. The EV infrastructure is so pathetic that you have to rely only on your own home charging facility. That too, you cannot go for fast charging without upgrading your supply KV from the distribution network.
