That's true and so many new defi platforms have already ended its sale without any money raised in the seed sale and private sale. Some defi platform may still able to raise the funds but it's not so crazy as a few months ago when the yearn finance has brought the defi trend to the cryptocurrency. It looks like we will be heading another trend again.

This time people much more focus into the product and so many legit projects have raised the hardcap.

I can send any erc20 with very cheap fees for each tx. The defi bubble already burst.

The hype about jumping onto the highest APY and farming the shit out of it is definitely over. As with every hype cycle, there aren't enough new people to fool i guess. Information travels fast these days. So everyone knows now not to lock funds in anon accounts and if they give you free money to build trust then you take that money and then scoot. Not take it as a signal to invest more.

So now that the dynamic has changed, the hype generated due to scammers is low. Those people who still believe that there are rich mofos out there who want to put money in novel areas are continuing to come up with more financial jugglery into DeFi space. I keep saying this but DeFi is just crypto-devs wanting to replicate big finance. The good/ bad thing (depending on how you see it) about it is that you don't need a sophisticated degree or anyone's permission to gamble money into it.

Defi is not hype nor a virtual project which will cheat the investors gradually. These projects are very real and for the service-oriented. You can see here the true financial decentralization. The great example of this project recently you already have seen is Chainlink and the yearn.finance which has greatly outperform.

Not quite sure if they are ended already it seems that the DeFi hype just run didn't last long, I've seen multiple DeFi scams I think that most of the investors get scared on investing to it. Let's hope that there would be a real product in the future right now I never seen any valuable.

crypto have real products too, in term of software products.
no reason to invest in gas or real estate at this point. most big countries now heavy on battery vehicles and the u.s pumping out gas/fracting hard! in california around 15 more years all new vehicle can't use gas. low price don't mean it's going to pump later, gas is a dying industry.

real estate at all time high. no reason to buy house 400k in a couple years later worth 200k.

Anything thing that has beginning must have an end, few genuine DeFi projects has been overshadowed by scams some investors who were lucky invested early enough make profits and quit while some greedy ones fell for the hype and eventually got scammed, as you rightly said its time to invest in real coin BTC had been bullish lately so also ETH there are some viable altcoins that might pump 5x, 10x in the nearest future thus thorough researching will ensure making such profits.

I'm glad that the DeFi hype is over the gas price is back to normal and people can now go back to Ethereum trading the highest price of gas fee that I traded was $8 and I'm not used to using that high gas fee, and you are right people are going to lose on hype they should now go long term and find those projects that will last long term with real use case.

Defi have ended as soon as possible because not getting support from investor for holding Defi coin for long time, many investor just make Defi coin as monkey business where have short moment and not profitable for holding in long time. The same with farming coin after success YFI reach bitcoin price and have many farming other coin but now have bad result with lower price and some become shit coin. I am lucky not interested with farming coin and not lost more on Defi coin project. Maybe we will get new moment about new coin again and waiting what the label and named for the next coin project.

I'm glad that the DeFi hype is over the gas price is back to normal and people can now go back to Ethereum trading the highest price of gas fee that I traded was $8 and I'm not used to using that high gas fee, and you are right people are going to lose on hype they should now go long term and find those projects that will last long term with real use case.

$8 for tx fee still too high. LTC (litecoin) tx fees is about $0.0001 and it confirms within 3 minutes.

The lessons of ICO fall has brought many investors to their toes and many won't just put money in every project. Is just like many who have felt the bad side of ponzi schemes would not rush into any new kind of reformed ponzi. DeFi came in a rush, it is an early comers benefit project. Take your profit and wait is what investors have experienced.

I agree with that observation mate, and I think the Defi crazed is already subsided and leaving huge losses to those who ride it without taking precautions, and we can see it in the social media post particularly on Twitter investors are regretting, for me that was a part of the crypto reality thats why take extra precaution next time when you riding on any crypto hype, By the way, let us get back into business with the real crypto projects that have a use case and real product to offer.

And if Ethereum claims it's old 4 figure value back again what will you think will happen to the few DeFi projects that are still standing? For example, Chainlink, can you tell me the exact project in crypto space that drives it's hype for a complete year? No single one, not even bitcoin, when crypto projects starts surging it's only going to last for days, weeks and few months, that's it. Nothing last forever
