I haven't seen any Gamblig Platform who used Telegram for Promotions, most I know is that they use Discord.
Do you have any Idea why they don't have any Telegram Communities? and why does it seem they don't use this platform for their promotions?
Trying to compare Discord and Telegram then you can really able to say that Discord is much better than telegram. Probably because it is not popular? At least over here rarely people use telegram. They are more into snapchat or whatsapp (thought whatsapp is declining in popularity). I haven't used telegram myself, so I don't know how it works or looks like. But discord channels can be easily modified. There is range of customization that makes tasks easier and more clean. Like you can even create your own scripts/bots and run it on the server. I would say its more easier and cleaner to use discord for which everyone prefers using discord over telegram for promotion. |

aside from a lot of scammers in the telegram wherein if you post something about your concern in casino the telegram is not organized as discord. i think only community projects only uses telegram but honestly discord is much better.
afaik, there are scammers arohnd the discord app too,..

I think they can maximize their promotion if they use both platforms isn't? even though one is much better well using both platform would increase the scope of promotion some users are just using telegram and some users only uses discord if they use both platform they can reach both users right?
True, I think they in order to maximize promotion they should use both platform or even more to reach more users. Although I prefer telegram due to it's easy to understand interface and I think most of the users here are using it. Unlike discord which I really find hard to understand at first and for some users who are not into technology would likely hard to use it. |

I have seen a few casinos with Telegram channels, like Betnomi. It is great for basic support purposes. Discord seems to be the preferred platform because it's multi-platform. You can use it as a desktop app, on mobile devices and in your web browser. Telegram can be used on desktop but I would estimate that over 90% of their users are on mobile devices only.

But discord is underrated form of communication, I even suggested discord for online learnings yet they chose zoom meeting which consumes more data. I think it will just depend on the handling team of any casino, but having a discord channel will give a better experience for their every user.

Didn't know that casino uses telegram or discord to promote their website. Well maybe I just don't take focus on their social media platforms since I'm more into the game on their platform.
They do it in every possible way that there are gamblers who can actually see their promotions. I've seen casinos that have Telegram communities and they are adopting to the likes of their gamblers. For some, it's easier to use Telegram and for others discord is the other thing. It do really depends to the demand of their customers, if they've assessed that there are plenty of users who would like to communicate them with the other messaging app, they will adopt. As much as they'll give customer satisfaction, they'll cater the demand of their users. |

Tested out myself when it comes to data consumption which Discord is much better option than with zoom.Its also newbie friendly yet it isnt really that too technical for you to have a hard time to understand plus it does have lots of features if you intend to discover even more.Telegram had been known by vast majority due to simple functionality when it comes to messaging but nothing beats out when it comes to design or on how things had been programmed. Both can have that gambling thing on the platform but we can tell the difference on which one do looks better and into its implementation. No doubt that most of businesses out there will much prefer on using Discord over telegram or any other messaging apps. |

Telegram is just a chat that all of the users chat there together and your question will be buried by the answers and questions given by everyone unlike in Dischord, they have categories of where a question is designated. If you wanna talk about the platform in general they do have #general channel for the platform. If you wanna check jobs available there are also #hiring or #jobs there in Dischord. You simply just know where your inquiries should be for the discussions to be organized.
But if you want to make an announcement on Telegram like a promotion you can pin your message, this feature is generally used for that. |

Man, there enough casinos in Telegram. At least they often ask me for commercial (i reject such type of ads due to my own principles) but yeah, mostly they are from Russia and such countries. Telegram have it own cons, like it don't have indexing in Google (and Discord has as i know) so it's not good to promote someone their, at least you can find better places for mass promotion. Especially if we are talking about casinos (Telegram famous for it's middle class auditory and such people will not play at casino). |

One of the reason I can think of is telegram is very much associated with ICO and airdrops and Discord is very much strict than Telegram, Telegram is scam infested because people can easily change their username, delete conversation and imitate other people there are old gambling sites that started with discord and these new gambling sites just follow the industry practice . |

I am not sure if this is considered as a promotion but I remember when stake.com using telegram for their signature campaign and for their website. I remember there were posts that show if they have events, live streams going on or event results, etc... if stake.com has them I would assume other gambling sites has it too. but I guess their telegram community is so small that we don't hear or gain much attention here in the forum |

Thanks for enlightening me on the subject Johnny, I am active on telegram because of my association with Cryptocurrency projects and only one invited me to one gambling casino group when there are hundreds of online casinos, I may add maybe it's on the niche Cryptocurrency projects have telegram and gambling sites have Discord. And most of the gambling sites have their own internal chat channel I prefer to have my time there. |

I agree with SyGambler there are casinos that makes use of telegram for promotions. I also open telegram once or twice a week just so I don't miss out on the recent casino promotions they put up. I haven't seen casinos that use discord though or maybe that's just me not playing on different casinos recently. For community discussions I enjoy using discord than telegram since you can use custom emotes from other servers.

Telegram is good as a channel which can be used to announce the new promos or updates. Discord has been the home for gamers for a long time but now many gamblers have preferences about more organized forum type social media which covered better in Discord groups. At least not messy compared to Telegram.

For me we can't see gambling sites that uses telegram because Discord has just a lot more to offer compared to telegram. Plus me personally I find Discord way easier to use compared to telegram. Discord is way more appealing compared to telegram in most peoples eyes so maybe that's one of the reason why most websites uses discord over telegram.

Stake.com has a telegram channel wherein they addressed here the events, issues and some promotions such as free giveaways. Well, I think it is way better than to post updates in discord than telegram because there are many scammers around telegram. In short, telegram community is more toxic than discord community. However, for good promotions. I think they have to consider the fact that they can attract more gamblers if they have a lot of social media sites. As we all know that telegram is one of the famous channel for promotions of products and services. Well, aside from that telegram has good bots but the people around it are too scary as there are many scammers who copied the name of admin just to scam the potential players.

I don't have any idea about that. But what I've seen about Telegram is Telegram has a lot of community. Often, Telegram has been used for abusing other people, and in the end, people get scam by using Telegram. The owner doesn't want to know that people will think that the gambling owner will scam them, so they decide to use Discord or other social media. Perhaps that is the reason why the gambling platform doesn't use Telegram to promote. If I were the owner, I would not use a platform used to trick people because that will give a bad name to my company. There are many ways the gambling owner to promote his gambling website. But I guess Stake.com already used Telegram to promote their programs or new update related to their website in their Telegram channel. Perhaps, the gambling owner only uses the Telegram channel for their private members and does not share their public channel. |
